What to play with friends? What can you play on your computer in the evening?

Distract your child from computer games and various applications on tablets and smartphones - sometimes a difficult task for many parents. But at the same time, parents cannot always offer an interesting alternative for children in the form of outdoor or board games. Today we will tell you what you can play with the whole family so that no one gets bored.

Playing outdoors not only brings health benefits, but also develops qualities in children such as dexterity, strength, ingenuity and creative thinking. These games can be played on the playground, in nature, on the lawn in country house, and you will need very little additional props.

Ball up!

For this game you will need a ball, with which the driver stands in the center of the circle created by other players. He throws the ball as high as possible with the words “Ball up!” (you can come up with your own signal word), and at this time the players run away from it as far as possible (you cannot hide behind trees or other objects). When the driver catches the ball and shouts “Stop!”, the players must freeze in place and not move (if someone does not stop at the signal, they must take three large steps towards the driver). Now the driver’s task is to throw the ball and stain one of the players with it, if he manages to do this, then this player becomes the driver next game. If it was not possible to stain anyone, then the driver again stands in a circle.

Canvas Basketball

You will need a piece of tarpaulin, in which you should cut holes of different diameters (just not smaller than the existing ball), cover their edges with colored tape and assign a value in points to each hole. Then the players take turns throwing the ball, the winner is the one who scores the maximum number of points in 10 throws. You can complicate the task and make each throw at a greater distance from the tarpaulin than the previous one.

Street twister

This game can be purchased in a store, or you can draw the outlines of circles on the asphalt yourself using colored chalk (if you don’t mind your lawn, you can draw circles on it with special water-based paints that wash off after rain). You yourself determine the size of the playing field and the size of the colored circles, and if you want circles of the same size, take a cardboard box, cut a hole in it and use it as a stencil.

Cobweb

Find two trees or pipes standing next to each other in your yard and stretch two ropes between them at the top and bottom to create a “window.” Now let the children (and adults too) jump through the “window” so as not to hit the ropes. This develops dexterity and coordination of movements in children, teaches them to jump in height and determine by eye the distances between objects. Then the task should be complicated: between two ropes, stretch a few more like a web, now let the participants climb through the obstacle without touching the ropes or breaking them.

Push-pull

This is an unusual running competition because you have to run in pairs. The players stand with their backs to each other, holding hands. Now each pair must cover the distance from one landmark and back, without tearing their backs away from each other and without breaking their hands. First, one participant runs forward and pulls the other player with him, then they run back in reverse - the one who pushed becomes the one who pulls, while trying to move synchronously with his Siamese twin. The winner is the pair that covers the distance there and back faster.

Ice riches

In hot weather, this game will delight children. Freeze ice cubes in a mold, first placing a small toy or other “treasure” (this could be, for example, flowers or plant leaves) in each mold. Or you can color the water with food coloring, then you will have multi-colored “precious stones” with riches. Give them to children and let them try to melt the ice with their hands, warm breath or other means. Just be careful so they don't accidentally swallow the surprise!

In order not to cause overwork in the child, you should alternate active games with calm ones from time to time.

Fanta

This is old good game, which both children and adults love to play. Each player collects one item and puts it in a bag. One of the players is blindfolded and must come up with a task for the owner of each item pulled out of the bag by the presenter. You can do it another way: before the start of the game, each participant writes notes with tasks and puts them in a bag, then the bag is passed around in a circle and everyone must pull out their task for this con. You can come up with anything you want: sing a song while sitting under the table, give flowers to the first person to enter the room, or even take the iron out for a walk.

Hat

All participants come up with words, write them on pieces of paper and put them in a hat. Then they are divided into pairs, and here the fun begins: in one minute, first one member of the pair, then the other must explain to each other as many concepts as possible, which are written on pieces of paper pulled from a hat. If you are playing with children, you should, of course, avoid words like “reverb,” “hydroelectric,” and “somnambulist.” The pair with the most words guessed in 2 minutes wins.

Crocodile

Before the start of the game, a presenter and explainer are selected. The presenter says a word to the explainer, and he, with the help of gestures, facial expressions and movements, must explain it to everyone else. The person explaining is prohibited from making any sounds, showing or using surrounding objects, but if the word is difficult to explain in its entirety, then it can be shown that he is explaining it in parts. The player who guesses what is being said becomes the explainer in the next round, and the one who made faces in front of the participants in the last round guesses the word.

Leaning Tower

In stores the game is sold under the name “Jenga”, but you can make it yourself. To do this, you will need about 50 wooden blocks, 25 centimeters long and about two wide and high. Then you should build a tower, alternating longitudinal and transverse laying of bricks. Players then take turns carefully pulling out one block at a time and placing it on top of the tower. This must be done as carefully as possible, otherwise the tower will collapse. The player whose actions caused the collapse is considered the loser.

Have a nice time in fun company friends by organizing an unusual championship. Games are important not only for kids, but also for adults, because they can unite us even more. In addition, this is a great way to help new friends join the team, rather than stand alone against the wall all evening. We have selected 10 popular games that will allow you to have a good time. In our article you will find a variety of entertainment that trains the mind and develops body flexibility.

When it comes to games for big company, many first of all remember the “Mafia”, which conquered the whole world and gained many fans. To play intellectual detective you will need a deck special cards, which you can purchase online or draw yourself. You can also create your own map templates and order their printing in any edition. Well, if the above options do not suit you, take the most ordinary cards and agree with your friends what roles you will give them. For example: spades - Mafia, ace of spades– Mafia Boss, Jack of Hearts – Doctor, King of Hearts – Commissioner and so on. To prevent players from spying on each other, it is advisable to wear masks or headbands as soon as the city falls asleep.

The essence of the game
There are three sides in the game: Mafia, Civilians and Maniac. The goal of the mafioso is to kill players at night and execute them during the day, posing as good heroes. The goal of the Citizens is to find and execute the Mafia. A maniac is a willful person who kills everyone indiscriminately.
Characters
IN classic version there are active and passive characters. Presenter – passive character, does not affect the course of the game, but coordinates the actions of all its participants.
Evil characters: Mafia (consists of the Boss and his henchmen), Maniac.
Good characters: Commissioner, Doctor, Peaceful Citizens.
Peaceful Citizens are passive players: they sleep at night, but can vote during the day, sending those they dislike to death.
The mafia wakes up at night.
The Mafia Boss chooses the victim to be hit. If the Boss dies, another mafioso takes over his post.
The maniac strikes any player at night.
The commissioner can check any player at night. If the Mafia or Maniac came to this player, the Commissioner's check scares away the criminals, saving the player's life.
The Doctor also makes his move at night and can cure anyone (one player), canceling the killing move of the Mafia or Maniac.

Progress of the game

The game is divided into intervals - day and night. On the first day, the Host distributes cards to the players, after which the first night begins. On the first night (at the Leader’s command), the players wake up in turn, letting him know who has what role. The Mafia gets to know each other and finds out who got the role of Boss. All players wake up during the day. The presenter briefly describes the events of the past night. For example: “The Mafia struck, but the Commissioner’s visit scared off the bandits. The maniac brutally mocked his next victim all night, but the Doctor managed to save the poor fellow.” These clues allow players to figure out their opponent. This is followed by a vote, during which each player can propose a candidate for execution. By carefully studying the arguments and suspects, it is possible to identify the mafiosi, since they are usually unanimous in the day's voting. However, clever players know how to show off, accusing each other during the day (but only if a teammate is clearly not in danger of execution). After the execution, the card of the murdered person is revealed and everyone sees his role. Then night falls on the city and active players make their move again. The game ends with the victory of the Peaceful if all Mafs and Maniacs are killed. The mafia wins when it remains in the majority. With a successful combination of circumstances, Maniac can win, being left alone with a passive player.

In addition to the classic plot, there are many different game options. We advise you to choose the most creative friend with an excellent sense of humor for the role of Host. In your competitions, you can use references to various books and films. For example, a story about vampires and werewolves has become popular, where Count Dracula plays the role of the Boss, Dr. Frankenstein cures illnesses, and the Commissioner turns into Helsing or Buffy. The more friends you have, the more characters you can introduce into the game, making it even more fun!

The exciting game “Twister” will give you a reason to laugh at the awkward poses of your friends, and at the same time exercise, because during the game you will have to bend over, reach with your arms and legs to reach multi-colored circles and try to maintain your balance.

Progress of the game

The presenter spins a special arrow, giving each player a certain pose (for example, left hand on the green circle, right foot on the yellow circle, etc.). The winner is the player who manages to stay on the field, fulfilling all the orders of the leader. If a player touches the surface of the field in the wrong place, he is automatically eliminated from the game.

One of the most popular youth entertainment abroad is the game “Question or Desire.” To determine the queue of players, you can use pointers (for example, a bottle) or transfer the turn clockwise.

Progress of the game

Player A offers Player B one of two options: a question or a wish. If player B chooses a question, then player A can ask him anything. If player B chooses a wish, then player A can order anything. Married couples are better off not playing, because the questions may turn out to be too personal and tricky. This fun is best suited for single guys and girls.

The detective quiz, which develops ingenuity and imagination, is a variation of the popular game “Danetki”.

Progress of the game

The presenter describes a situation (most often it is a robbery or murder), and you, using logic and imagination, try to understand what happened. The key to the solution always lies in the problem itself.

Examples of riddles

1) The body of a man was found in the middle of the desert, with a backpack lying next to him. The man was absolutely healthy, neither hunger nor dehydration caused death. What did he die from?
The answer: the key to the solution is the backpack in which the parachute was located, and the poor fellow died because the parachute did not open.

2) The body of a security guard is found in the middle of the supermarket. The man was not attacked; he did not die from illness. There was only a sign next to him. What happened?
The answer: you've probably noticed signs in stores that say "Wet floor." It is obvious that the guard slipped on the wet floor and hit himself when he fell.

3) Near the sports ground, a man was found who died under mysterious circumstances. There are no visible wounds on his body. Detectives spotted a ball nearby. What happened?
The answer: a heavy basketball, flying out of the court, hit the poor guy in the head.

This game has many names and you are probably familiar with it. She gained particular popularity after the release of the film Inglorious Basterds.

Progress of the game

Each participant writes a name on a sticker (a literary character, a movie character, or real person). The sheets are distributed to the players (the player should not see the words on his sheet) and are attached to the forehead. By asking questions to other participants, the player must guess his character. Questions can only be answered “yes” or “no”.

Example of a riddle
Player 1: Am I human?
Player 2: No.
Player 1: Am I the hero of the movie?
Player 2: Yes.
Player 1: Do I spit fire?
Player 2: Yes.
Player 1: Am I the dragon Drogon?
Player 2: Yes.

The round is won by the player who gives the correct answer by asking the least number of questions.

"Black Box" is a variation of the game "What? Where? When?”, where instead of the classic black box a black box is used. The peculiarity of the game is that all questions and answers are somewhat frivolous: they are related to sex, drinking, etc. You would not hear such questions in the television version.

Progress of the game

The presenter asks a question related to the item lying in the black box. After a minute, players must answer the question. By the way, it is not at all necessary to use a black box; it can be conditional.

Example question for "ChSh"
The actors of the popular musical "Cats" attach microphones under their tights. Artists often dance and (to protect against sweat) wear THIS on the microphones. Attention question: what is in the black box?
Answer: condoms.

This quiz will allow you to test your erudition and compete in your thinking speed.

Progress of the game

One of the players (who misses this round) asks the presenter a well-known catchphrase, proverb or saying. The presenter reports the number of words in a given sentence. Players must guess the phrase by asking the host as many questions as there are words in the phrase. Questions and answers can be absolutely anything. However, each answer can consist of only one sentence and must contain 1 word of the hidden phrase.

Example of a riddle
Presenter: The phrase contains 3 words. The player can ask 3 questions.
Player: What time is it now?
Host: Look at the wall where the clock hangs.
Player: Is there life on Mars?
Host: Scientists disagree on this issue.
Player: Who's to blame?
Host: The root of the problem is hidden from our eyes.
Answer: Kozma Prutkov’s aphorism “Look at the root” is hidden.

Surely you are all very familiar with the game “Crocodile”, during which one participant silently shows the hidden word to a group of guessing players. In the fake "Crocodile" the rules are somewhat different.

Exciting quests in the style of “Find a way out of the room” have become one of the most fashionable entertainments. In almost any city there are questrooms where (for a moderate and not so reasonable fee) they will put on a whole show for you.

Progress of the game

The team is locked in an unfamiliar room, from which it must escape within a certain period of time. Players search for riddles and clues to various secret boxes with new keys. Having solved all the problems, the team finds the main key that unlocks the door to freedom. If you have a spacious room and inexhaustible imagination, you can come up with a quest scenario yourself. Gather your friends, leave hints for them and see how they cope with the task.

"Literball" - adult game in the style of “who will outdrink whom.” Historians claim that its various analogues have existed from time immemorial in all corners of the planet. Those wishing to measure their ability to outdrink their opponents appeared as soon as mankind invented alcoholic drinks. They say that similar games especially liked by the ancient Greeks and Peter I. In the CIS countries, the so-called. “Drunk checkers”, in which instead of white and black checkers they use glasses with vodka and cognac or glasses with light and dark beer. As soon as you “eat” your opponent’s checker, you need to drink the contents of this glass and remove it from the board. More advanced players prefer Drunken Chess. For the party, silhouettes are drawn on the glasses with a marker chess pieces.

However, “Drunken Checkers” and “Drunken Chess” can only be played by 2 people, so we will consider an option for a more crowded group. We are talking about a student game called “Beer Ping Pong” (or “Beer Pong”).

Progress of the game

You will need plastic cups, a table, a ping pong ball and beer. Lots of beer. Participants are divided into 2 teams. The judge pours the beer into glasses and places them equally on both sides of the table, lining up the glasses in a triangle shape. The competitors take turns throwing the ball into the opponent’s glass. If the ball lands in a glass, the player who hits drinks beer from this glass, removes the empty container from the table and gets the right to throw again. The team with the most accuracy, having emptied all the opponent's glasses, wins.

Attention: students' favorite pastime can lead to alcohol poisoning. We advise you to take smaller glasses, so that later you won’t be excruciatingly painful for your aimlessly killed liver.

Finally, evening came. A time of joint relaxation and communication, in general, is an idyll.
But what's really going on? In the evening, everyone in the family does their own thing. And to be honest, everyone sits with their eyes glued to the TV, smartphone or computer.
And you feel inside that it shouldn't be like this, this divides the family.

Why games (and not cartoons) are important for children

  • Through play, a child prepares for the adult world, not in terms of the exact transfer of skills (teaching how to wash and iron), but in a deeper sense - he gets to know his psyche, reveals his inner strengths, learns to cope with assigned tasks (and capturing a dragon in a castle is wow, what a task!)
  • Playing games together with your child will give you invaluable minutes of communication, laughter, and you will grow faster through the game. find out what your baby is thinking about and what he is afraid of. If a certain plot is repeated in every game, then most likely this is the working out of their fears (children do this unconsciously)
Of course, play is the main development, and this is exactly how all learning for preschoolers should take place.
  • For development the child must move, and not sit, looking at the changing picture of the tablet. We are not necessarily talking about outdoor games - we are also talking about development fine motor skills, which are directly related to the brain
Options for spending time with your child
So that today you don’t get the “Oh, I don’t know what to do in the evening with the child, everything is boring, I’m tired, I’d better go and watch TV,” here is an extensive list of activities.
So, our list: what to do in the evening as a family with children.

1. Creative activities with children: 1.1 Write a story

Children love to fantasize, give them the theme of the story (new adventures of Polirobokar or Travel Winnie the Pooh to a modern city) and ask them to fantasize, and you take their dictation. The story should be limited, for example, sheet sizes. The child must be warned about this in advance. It's interesting to watch how they manage to logically complete the story when you show that there are a couple of sentences left until the end of the page.
If the story is not made up, then take turns fantasizing. The sentence is you - the sentence is your child, you can play according to this principle with the whole family. Mom-dad-child-still a child. For fun, you can divide the roles: one writes a detective story, another a good fairy tale, a third a science fiction story, and a fourth a horror story. Everyone will try in their proposal to shift the focus of the story in their own direction and in the end it will turn out very funny. In general, this game is great entertainment for a party)))
1.2 Draw with paints, felt-tip pens or pencils

When choosing materials for creativity, you should never skimp. Having bought cheap pencils with a hard lead that scratch on paper rather than draw, don’t be surprised why your child doesn’t like to draw so much. It is much easier to instill a love of creativity through high-quality office supplies. Try the purchased pencils and felt-tip pens yourself - you should have fun, the mark should be soft, and not require much pressure. That's when you and your child will learn how much fun you can get through drawing.
1.3 Color finished images (you can print pictures from the Internet)

If you have a printer, just type “coloring book for boys/girls” or specifically “coloring book construction equipment”, “coloring book bunnies”. Switch to the Pictures tab and invite your child to choose what they like.
And you can sit down and decorate these now fashionable “mandalas for adults”, which help relieve stress and calm the mind.
1.4 Film a plasticine cartoon

Build scenery - let it be a toy city, populate it with inhabitants. Now you need to attach the camera to a tripod (if you don’t have one, then place the camera on the same table on a pile of books, make a slight tilt). To make the picture come to life, you need to move the characters a little bit and capture each change with a camera. It is very convenient to use plasticine, but you can also move Lego figures, cars, and soft toys.

1.5 Play with the constructor
A construction set is a very versatile toy, because you can make many different things out of it. One of my friends told me that when he was a child, his parents fundamentally didn’t buy any toys except construction sets. “If you want a machine gun, make it from a construction set, if you want a tank, make it from a construction set, if you want a ball, we’ll probably buy the ball)))” As a result, this guy has extraordinary mathematical abilities and his ability to solve non-trivial problems is clearly head and shoulders above his peers.
In addition to Lego and its analogues, there are other interesting construction sets: Zoob, Polesie, Banchems, magnetic constructor and others
1.6 Glue a model or applique, play with stickers
With older children, you can glue together a model of an airplane or tank from special kits. Appliques are suitable for kids; they like to tinker with glue and suddenly discover that a recognizable picture has suddenly appeared from scattered small pieces. To make the application even more interesting, print out the animals from Smeshariki. Print out their houses there and glue them directly onto this background. It’s not so scary if your printer is black and white, the images are still very loved and recognizable.
Children also love to paste stickers (you can get a notebook for this and paste them by category). If you are already tired of buying them endlessly, then buy reusable ones, for example, from the “Wonderful Stickers” series of books.
1.7 Sculpt from plasticine

Topics for designing, sculpting and drawing: together we make houses, or planes, or a castle, or together we build a city. One builds a road, another a car, and the third a house.
You can fantasize on the theme “The World of the Future” and fashion flying chairs or a teleportation cabin.
Or you can create a real model, look at the object and try to repeat it. Fashion or assemble from a constructor toy car, Christmas tree, chair.

1.8 Fold paper shapes (origami)

For example, ships(to run them in the bath) frogs(arrange competitions to see who can jump the furthest), boxes (for gifts for grandmothers), airplanes (launch them from the sofa in the most spacious room)
Addition:

2. Intellectual entertainment with children 2.1 Speak a foreign language with children
It's no secret that learning another language greatly develops the brain, not to mention practical benefits foreign knowledge for any person.
How to easily introduce foreign speech into communication with your child. You can ask with a smile at dinner: Give me bread and point to the bread with your hand, in a few days he will remember and there is a high probability that he will do this himself.
Play Hide the item: Cold-hot, but you tell me in English - hot-cold (under table).
Ball game Edible-inedible. Throw the ball to the child and say the words; if you say something edible, the child should grab the ball, if not, hit it. Call simple ones english words: cat, dog, plane, tank, bread.
2.2 Guess riddles
You can come up with riddles yourself; they don’t have to be complicated. Make a guess about what you see, soon the child will take the initiative and you will be the one to guess
For example, “A large white closet, mom hides milk in it” (Refrigerator).
2.3 Read a book, look at the encyclopedia together

Don't neglect reading, start a tradition of cozy reading before bed. It brings us very close. A child needs the world of books to train his imagination, because what you read certainly forms images in his head and they move and come to life. Unlike cartoons, where all the images are drawn in advance, and the child is only a passive observer.
2.4 Read poems and fairy tales by Pushkin
I highlighted this as a separate point, since Pushkin is a unique personality for a Russian person and children should be taught his poems from childhood. These are not only sonorous rhymes and beautiful words, they are also an incompletely unraveled second series of meanings, about life, our future and past.
2.5 Decrypt ciphers (Morse code)
Write codes to each other using Morse code, then change and decipher them.
Or encode a message with the answer to the question: “Where is the candy hidden?”

3. Paper and board games

  • funny game on paper Nonsense
  • tic-tac-toe
  • gallows (guess words)
  • chess/checkers
  • Palms (if the child already goes to school and knows the numbers well)
  • Board game (Dixit, Monkey Island, Carcassonne, Memo, Jenga Tower)
  • Playing with spillikins (games with small objects, matches).

You lay out a mountain of matches and you need to pull out any one without shaking the others; the closer you get to the end, the more difficult the task becomes. Excellent trainer fine motor skills and accuracy in movements.

4. Activities for the whole family

4.1 Cooking
Bake a cake, make dumplings, make ice cream or conjure pizza together!
Of course, it’s easier for us to go and prepare a pie for the household quickly and without turning the kitchen into winter decorations made of flour and dough. BUT! You need to turn off the perfectionist in you and turn on the good mother. Cooking together always brings people together, and for children it is a fun laboratory.

We’re used to it, but for them it’s just a miracle how flour, eggs and liquid can suddenly make a delicious pie. And all this mixing, pouring, etc. is a great exercise for fine motor skills.
So, relax about the spilled flour on the floor and feel free to invite your child to have fun in the kitchen.
4.2 Put together a large mosaic with the whole family
If the mosaic is really big, such that it cannot be completed in a day, use little trick: peel back the carpet and place it on the floor, and then, when you need to take a break, just cover the puzzle with the carpet on top and calmly walk on it until the next bout of mosaic building. Another option for those who have a large kitchen table is to fold it on it, and for safety, when the table is needed for other household purposes, hide the puzzle under the tablecloth.

4.3 Conduct experiments
It is much more interesting to study the properties of materials not from books, but from simple game experiments.
Children especially love experiments with ice, and it’s so easy for us to prepare it in the freezer.
4.5 Learn simple tricks
Children love watching and doing magic tricks, try doing something together. And if some trick seems particularly successful and effective, the child will be able to demonstrate it to guests at the next holiday.

5. Fun games with children at home5.1 Fun races
If you have several radio-controlled cars, you can build fun game. Build a track and stands and race radio-controlled cars

5.2 Play Explain with Words or Show the Word
Say otherwise (Alias)- a game in which you need to explain in other words the word that acts as a task. There is no need to buy this game. There is an excellent free application on the phone (that’s what Alias is called).

These games perfectly develop acting skills (crocodile), speech, and reasoning skills (say otherwise). Playing them is very useful, and most importantly fun.
5.3 Mini-quest
hide cubes, search and form a word. Children enjoy completing quests, and parents love that children develop their ingenuity without sitting still. Use blocks or a magnetic alphabet, or simply write a word on paper and cut it into letters. Now let the child go out (for example, to the bathroom), and you hide the letters in different places.
5.4 Labyrinths (draw, sculpt, build from cubes)

Children love labyrinths; there is something alluring and mysterious about them. You can build it from different materials, as your imagination and the contents of your shelves dictate. Cubes are perfect, as are books, construction sets, pencils with markers, and dominoes. If there is nothing at all, take a larger sheet and draw a labyrinth with a pencil.
How to play then? The construction of a labyrinth in itself is a fascinating activity that develops spatial thinking. Invite your child to follow the tangled passages with a finger or a small toy. Place an evil minotaur in a dead-end branch and try with a group of good guys to get out or go fight him. Or maybe you are an explorer and as the character progresses, the child will try to draw a plan of the labyrinth. Start playing, and then the child will tell you.
5.5 Role-playing games:

-play travel or for reconnaissance. To do this, you will need to build a plane or a boat, study the map, the flag of the country where we are flying, what is there, what animals, what resources, what people like to eat there. You may need preliminary preparation(Internet, encyclopedia) or you can look about it with your child.
-play school, solve examples
Alternate the complexity of the problems, write 2 easy examples and one difficult one, if you were made a student, then sometimes “make a mistake”, let the child teacher check after you.
-teach to play with animals just like we did in our childhood. Cook porridge for the bears and put them to bed. Preschoolers love it when toys come to life. Do you think these are useless games? It is by modeling ordinary everyday situations that you will be able to understand (if you pay attention) what psychological problems children have and correct them through your favorite bear.

6. Original:

6.1 Write a letter to grandma
In our electronic age, we need to try to maintain children’s connection with the material world, and in general, living paper letters are quite romantic. Make exchanging letters with your grandmother a wonderful tradition. It’s okay if grandmothers live in the same city, the post office will bring them a letter to the neighboring house. Decorate your letter with colorful stickers or include a photo. It's always such a joy to take a fresh sealed envelope out of the drawer and eagerly open it. And I can’t tell you how happy the grandmothers will be)))
6.2 Create a family tree
Family tree - detailed article on our website.
Call your grandmother or go to your grandfather's for tea and record a real interview with him about what his childhood was like. Possible list questions:

  • Did he go to kindergarten?
  • What toys did he have?
  • When he learned to swim
  • What kind of school did he have?
  • What was the most delicious thing in his childhood?
  • What is his favorite animal?
  • Where did he sleep, in his parents' room or did he have his own room?
  • What did you help your parents do around the house?
  • How did you interact with your brothers and sisters?
  • Some interesting everyday moments from that era
Record your answers or shoot a video, record an audio file, be sure to save this information for your child, he will appreciate it when he grows up
You will not only begin to trace your family tree, but also learn more about the history of the family and how people lived 50 years ago.
6.3 Introduce your child to the world of your profession or hobby
They say that if a person knows how to clearly explain to a child even the most difficult things, then this person really understands his subject. Test yourself, and children will be extremely interested in finding out what their parents do at work.
  • solder the electrical circuit with diodes and rheostats
  • make a chair out of wood
  • write a small program (there are applications for children)
  • calculate your family's spending on the weekend
6.3 Shoot a film on camera
You can make a film about your cat, about your mother cooking dinner, “One day in the life of my family,” and so on. If the child is an adult, then you can also show video editing programs.

7. Outdoor games with children: 7.1 play blind cat at home
It's terribly fun tickles the nerves even of adults. If the rooms are small, then an adult must catch with one hand, otherwise our dad, with his arms outstretched, can walk through a narrow room and grab everyone in an armful))) Remove all breakable objects away in advance.
7.2 play hide and seek

Stand behind the line (this could be the edge of the carpet or a stick) and from here throw balls or cubes into the basket (basin, box). Count the points of who gets how many, you can play tournaments, first the parent throws 10 objects and writes down how many got on the tournament board (sheet), then the child. To be fair, an adult should throw by stepping back from the line a few steps and sitting down at the child’s level.

What to do if you are very bored playing with your child
You are sincerely going to play with your child, but as soon as you sit on the carpet and surround yourself with toys, you feel like yawning overwhelms you and you want to go and go to sleep.
First of all, you are not alone, most adults have completely forgotten what does it mean to play.
Secondly, there are a couple of methods that are worth trying, in case they can help you.
Place the child on your knee and looking into his eyes, ask how he is doing and what he wants to play now. Accept the offer with enthusiasm, but if he enthusiastically yells: “Now we will build an Amusement Park in the hall!” - don’t rush to think for him what to build for this. Just ask: “What is needed for this? How can I help? Let the child take the initiative, this is useful.
To awaken your interest, observe your child from the outside sincerely and admiringly. As he fantasizes what he tells, you don’t have to struggle to come up with something, what to talk about or what to play. Just relax and follow the baby’s initiative, even if he is only 2 years old (I’m already silent about the ingenuity of 8 year olds).
Another way, just the opposite: look at the toys through the eyes of Yourself-From-Childhood, remember yourself at the age of 8, imagine that this treasure fell in front of you N years ago and start playing yourself, with enthusiasm, in no case for the child, but exclusively for myself. Feel the taste of the game, build a car from such beautiful construction parts, populate the house with residents or decorate it with sparkle. You will feel alive and present, and time will stand still. It's like taking a time machine back to childhood. Be glad that you have your baby and next to him you have the opportunity to relive the happy moments of childhood.

Participants are divided into two teams. The first team calls the second player. He is given a word, which he must show solely with the help of facial expressions and gestures, without saying anything. His teammates are trying to guess what he is depicting.

A limited time is given for guessing, for example a minute. Then everything is repeated with a player from the other team.

In a more complex version of “Crocodile”, a phrase is made. For example, a quote from a famous song or quatrain, a proverb, a saying, and so on.

2. Hat

The game involves two teams, which must have the same number of players. Each participant writes 5–6 words on cards (small pieces of paper) (one word per piece of paper). Then the cards are put into a hat.

The first player draws a card from the hat and, at a signal, begins to explain the word written on it to one of the players. You cannot mention words of the same root or consonant; you can use metaphors, synonyms, and abstract explanations. The second player's task is to express his versions and manage to guess the word in 20 or 30 seconds. If it works, the card remains with the team, if not, it is put back in the hat.

Then the players of the second team guess the word in the same way, and so on until the hat is empty. The team with the most cards wins.

3. What is he doing?

This is a kind of variation of “The Hat”. Players are divided into teams. Each of them writes some action on a piece of paper, for example: change a diaper, flip pancakes, ride a Ferris wheel, pass an exam, dance in the fan zone at a rock concert, and so on.

The player draws out the task and tries silently, only with gestures and facial expressions, to show this action to his teammate.

The rest of the rules are the same as in “The Hat”: the team with the most artistic and quick-witted players who have scored larger number cards.

4. Contact

One of the players is appointed as the leader. He thinks of a word - a common noun in the nominative case and singular - and names its first letter. The rest of the players can ask the leader leading questions, meaning a specific word.

For example, the word “cow” is guessed. The player remembers the word starting with the letter “k” and asks the host: “Isn’t this a place that children really love?” (carousel). If someone guesses what is meant, he says: “Contact!” Both players count to ten and say the word in unison. If both named “carousel”, the presenter opens the second letter “o”. If the second player made a mistake and said, for example, “ship,” everyone thinks further.

The presenter’s task is to understand as quickly as possible what word the player has guessed and name it while the “contacting” participants count to ten (“No, this is not a carousel”). If he succeeds, the second letter does not open.

The game continues until someone guesses the hidden word. In this case, the winner becomes the leader.

5. Answer in 5 seconds

Participants are divided into two teams. Each one comes up with a musical task and challenges a rival player. For example: name three rock styles; three musical heroes; three songs that are good to listen to in a traffic jam; three associations with the word “radio” or “rhythm”; three musical professions; three objects that are on stage during a performance, and so on. The player must answer within five seconds.

The tasks can be changed: not musical ones, but, for example, sports, geographical, natural or even local history tasks.

6. Danetki

Game with very simple rules. The presenter imagines a situation and briefly describes it. For example: “A man jumped out of a plane, but remained alive. How did this happen? Players can ask questions to which the host can only answer “yes” or “no.” For example:

Did he fall into the ocean?
- No.
- Was he with a parachute?
- No.
- Was he saved in the air by another parachutist?
- No.
- Was the person on a moving plane?
- No.
- Was the plane on the ground?
- Yes.

Situations can be invented of any complexity. The main thing is that they have at least some logic. The one who solved the situation becomes the leader.

7. Who am I?

Each player writes the name of a popular hero or the name of an item on a small piece of paper. After this, the sheets are shuffled and distributed to all participants. They stick them on their foreheads without looking.

The players sit in a circle. Each of them can ask questions. For example: “Am I human?”, “Am I with huge legs?”, “Am I green?” Once the answer is “no”, the right to ask questions passes to the next player in a clockwise direction.

This is a knockout game: whoever guesses that he is a stool or Sherlock leaves the circle. Everything continues until there is only one left who cannot guess what kind of inscription is on his forehead.

8. Twister

Three or four people can play twister at the same time. To play, you need equipment - a white field with circles of green, yellow, blue and red, arranged six in four rows. Plus a flat roulette divided into four sectors: each of them corresponds to a specific hand or leg and is further divided into sections of four colors. The presenter spins the arrow and tells which sector and which particular arm or leg the player should move to.

You can make a twister field yourself on the grass using a cardboard box with a circle cut out in the bottom and spray paint in four colors. And replace the roulette with cards with the inscriptions “right foot”, “left hand”, “red”, “blue” and so on, which the presenter pulls out of a hat or box.

If you don’t want to part with your smartphone even outdoors, you can download apps to play with others.

9. Alias

A game similar to Crocodile, but with certain limitations. Participants are divided into pairs and sit opposite each other. The first player receives a word in the application, which he needs to show to his partner using synonyms, gestures, translations into foreign languages and so on.

For each word guessed, the pair receives a point. If the process does not proceed, the word can be updated - in this case the team loses a point. A minute later, the smartphone is given to another couple. Those who score win greatest number points.

10. Spaceteam

Spaceteam is team game for groups of up to eight people who shout nonsense consisting of technical terms to each other. This continues until their ship explodes.

Instructions

Recently, board games have become increasingly popular. Previously, games in which you had to use chips to move around playing field and perform some tasks were very common, but then they ceased to be of interest to young people. Now large companies are again happy to play Monopoly or other business games, various strategies or historical plots. Entertainment like "Activity" can combine board games, pantomimes, and word games. For amateurs, you can even organize a chess or checkers tournament at home. Various themed dominoes or lotto will provide a pleasant pastime for a friendly, cheerful company. For lovers card games you can spend time playing poker, preference, bridge or the usual “Fool”.

For restless friends, if you have enough free space, you can organize outdoor games. Although, of course, outdoor games are more intended for the street, some of them can be played at home. Popular game Twister is considered to be in this category, where guests will have to take the most ridiculous poses in order to stay in the game. The size of the twister mat can vary, as can the number of participants. You can also arrange a tabletop or football tournament, if such devices are available. Nowadays, various dance and sports simulators are quite common, because they can be installed on a computer.

Another entertainment for a more relaxed company can be the so-called mind games. This includes the popular “Mafia” or “Guess Who the Killer”, in which all players need to identify negative characters, and these characters themselves need to avert suspicion from themselves. You can play the game “Broken Phone”, known from childhood - adult company she will seem even more cheerful than in childhood. Association games or riddle games can also be enjoyed by a large group, because you don’t even have to leave the table for them. A little more active is the game “Crocodile” or “Pantomime”, when the presenter must show the hidden word or phrase without words so that others can guess it. A variation of this game is to draw a hidden word on a marker board or simply on a piece of paper, also without saying a word. There's another one interesting game, in which participants stick stickers on each other’s foreheads with some hidden hero, and each player must guess which character he is by asking questions about himself to the other participants.

If the party is being held to celebrate a birthday or an award, you can have holiday games like, for example, “Fanta”, when the birthday boy gives tasks to all the guests. Games to know the hero of the occasion and his interests are also popular, and you can organize everything as in various television programs, for example, “Field of Miracles”, “Liar”, “Oh Lucky Man”, “Weak Link”, etc. The most difficult thing here will be for the organizer of these entertainments.

For large companies, there are various humorous quizzes or “Question-Answer” games, when a variety of delicate and not so delicate questions and answers that fit everything are composed in advance and printed on paper, and the players just take out a separate card with a question and a card with an answer and read it out aloud. Very funny coincidences can result, for example, “Do you often go to public transport without a ticket? - “This case, of course, will go without witnesses” or “Do you want to have a lover (mistress)?” - “I can’t say this without a couple of glasses,” etc.
