How to make simple mechanisms in Minecraft. How to make mechanisms in Minecraft without mods

Good afternoon, dear guests and users of our portal. The editor is with you - a sailor. Today we will talk about a topic like minecraft mechanisms for home.

Basics of home mechanisms

There are three main subjects. These are doors, hatches and gates. Doors can be powered by electricity (red torch, lever, button). The remaining two items open only if you point at them and press the right mouse button.

Crafts:
Let's start with the door. It comes in two materials. Iron and wood. Made from appropriate items. Open the workbench and lay out the craft in this way: put wood or iron ingots in the first, second, fourth, fifth, seventh and eighth slots.
Next comes the gate. We put a stick in the fourth, sixth, seventh and ninth slots. In the fifth and ninth - boards.
Luke. In all except the first, second and third we put one board each.

Redstone houses

In one of the articles I already raised the topic of redstone. Redstone is something like electricity. It is very difficult to build such a house, so it is easier to download a map with the house being built. If you still decide to build such a home yourself, then large number There are guides on YouTube. Just type into a search engine: “House with mechanisms.”

Today we discussed minecraft mechanisms for home. The editor, sailor, was with you. See you again at Play`N`Trade, and enjoy the game!

In the game Minecraft, the gamer is invited to build his own world, in which there should be buildings, cars, railways and much more. In principle, a player can do anything in this world. To do this, the game has special mechanisms that allow you to build and collect everything you might need.

Experienced players know that the mechanisms in the Minecraft game are in the so-called creative mode. Of course, game mechanisms are not the same as real mechanisms; they cannot be perceived as usual. However, as in real world, game mechanics in Minecraft are divided into two categories.

The first is complex mechanisms, the second is simple mechanisms. Each of these categories is affected by red dust. In principle, a tool such as red dust affects all mechanisms in the game. In order to better understand the principles of operation of the mechanisms, you can watch videos of minecraft mechanisms online; this will help you more easily understand how it works.

As you know, red dust in the game is used as a kind of connecting material through which electricity can pass. It can be extracted directly from the ground, which is quite simple. And immediately use it for arranging mechanisms. The list of mechanisms in the game is quite large; in this article we will look at some of them.

The first mechanism that the player has to assemble is the door. Minecraft can have both iron and wooden doors. As for the method of their use, it is, in principle, no different from real life. The following mechanisms that the game character desperately needs are a lever with which you can turn it on and off, as well as a button, when used, any process becomes automatic. In order for the hero to hunt mobs in the game, he needs a hook, because it is with its help that you can build a trap.

In addition to these mechanisms, the game also has many others. To understand their work, you should watch a Minecraft video on how to make mechanisms.

Good afternoon. There is something called electricity in Minecraft. The sailor is with you and today I will tell you how to make mechanisms in minecraft.

Warp

Any mechanism in Minecraft is based on redstone (red dust). You can find and mine it in the mine. It is mined with an iron and diamond pickaxe. In principle, this is not a rare material. But based on it we can make: repeaters, pistons, activating objects, and so on.

Activating items

To start our mechanism (for example: automatic doors), we need either a button or a lever. Also, if you want current to be supplied constantly, you need a red torch. Let's start with the lever. Crafting it is very simple. You only need one stick and one stone. We put a stick in the fifth slot, and a stone in the seventh. Making a button is also very simple. You need to connect two stones (in the fifth and seventh slots). A red torch is made like this: A unit of red dust is placed in the fifth slot, and a stick is placed in the seventh.

You may have questions. How to make a periodic supply of electricity? That's what repeaters are for. I wrote an article about them. How to make any mechanism? Just go to YouTube and search for “redstone.” A lot of videos on this topic have been made by YouTubers.

A list of all simple mechanisms in Minecraft can be seen in creative mode, in the “Mechanisms” tab of the inventory; more complex mechanisms can be made using red dust, we will not describe them in detail in this post, you can read here brief description namely simple mechanisms. Here we call mechanisms everything that can be influenced with the help of red dust.

List of Minecraft mechanics

Red dust is used as wires to conduct electricity to other machines. Red dust is mined underground and immediately falls out of the ore in finished form. The installed red dust can be easily collected with one blow of the hand or any object. In the screenshot, the lamp is activated by a lever using red dust, this is the simplest use of mechanisms.

Doors

There are two types of doors - wooden and iron. A wooden door can be opened by clicking on it with the left or right mouse button or using red dust; an iron door cannot be opened by hand; you need to use other mechanisms, such as a lever or a button.

Lever and button

The lever and button are used to activate other mechanisms. The lever acts like a switch and can be in two states - off/on, and the button activates the mechanism and after a few seconds goes into the off state.

Pressure plates are used as a button that activates the mechanisms when stepped on. Pressure plates can be used to create traps or to activate mechanisms without extra steps (you just need to walk on the plate instead of pressing a lever or button). In the picture there are pressure plates, one of them turns on the lamp, the second opens the wooden door.

This item is very often used in complex mechanisms that are built from red dust. The redstone torch serves as a source of current for electrical circuits.

Repeater

The repeater is used to build long circuits of red dust, to delay the signal, and also as a diode (passes the signal in one direction only).

Hook

The hook is used to create a stretch. By pulling a thread (web) between two hooks, you can receive a signal when someone (a mob or a player) walks along the stretch. Using a tripwire, you can create a trap (by activating pistons or a dispenser) or an alarm (by turning on a lamp or music box) that notifies you of approaching enemies.

Piston and sticky piston

Pistons can move blocks, this property is used to create traps and trusses. Sticky piston attracts and pushes out blocks, while the normal one only pushes out. The simplest example is cutting reeds using a piston, red dust and a button, thus increasing the number of pistons and connecting them with red dust, installing repeaters, you can create a reed farm that will cut 28 reeds at once by pressing one button.

When dynamite explodes, it destroys blocks around it, except obsidian and adminium. Can be used to create traps, explode mines, griefing. Dynamite explosions are often disabled on multiplayer servers. Dynamite is activated by a button, lever, pressure plate, tripwire and red dust and explodes after a few seconds; when it explodes, the dynamite will activate other dynamites that are nearby.

Dispenser

Can give the player items, activated by mechanisms. If you put arrows in the dispenser, you can build a “machine gun”.

When conducting electricity, it makes a sound that can be adjusted using the right button. Using note blocks you can create entire musical compositions.

Luke

Used as a vertical door. It opens both with a mouse click and with the help of mechanisms.

Gate

Used as a door on animal farms.

Minecraft can surprise any player, even those who have already studied this project a little. At first glance, it seems that this game is something very simple and uncomplicated - you have blocks from which you can build structures, craft tools, and mine minerals. But in reality, everything turns out to be much more complicated, since there are hundreds of different blocks, their combinations, as well as incredible possibilities such as creating full-fledged mechanisms. This is what surprises users the most, because few people suspect when they start playing an eight-bit sandbox that you can do something similar there. So, it’s worth understanding in more detail how to build a mechanism in Minecraft, what it will take and how long it will take.

The main component for any mechanism

It's no secret that the mechanisms in Minecraft are powered by electricity. But how to use it? How to make it work for you? This is precisely the answer to the question of how to build a mechanism in Minecraft. You will need red dust, which is also called "redstone" by players - this is the name of this component on English. It is this ingredient that will be useful to you when creating even the simplest mechanism, since it is a conductor of electrical energy.

Red dust in Minecraft plays the role of a guide, so without it any attempts will be doomed to failure. You should always have enough redstone in your inventory to be able to create new mechanisms. You just need to lay a path of this material from one element of the mechanism to another to connect them together. But do not forget that electricity only travels a distance of twelve blocks, that is, if you lay out a path of red dust that is too long, then after the twelfth block the signal will disappear. To extend it, use a repeater - it resets the count of the distance traveled by the current, so with its help you can build networks of any length. But don’t think that now you can immediately get creative - this is only the very beginning of learning how to build a mechanism in Minecraft. There is still a lot of important and useful information ahead.

Activation elements

If you are trying to figure out how to build a mechanism in Minecraft, then you must understand that an ordinary wire through which a current can potentially pass will not make your mechanism work. You need to somehow activate it so that current flows through the wires (in this case, through the red dust) and activates the mechanism. To do this, you need to craft some kind of switch - there are several of them in the game. The simplest of them is a button, but it is attached only to horizontal surfaces. You can also make a lever and even a pressure plate that sits on the floor. All of these switches have their own characteristics that are worth considering. For example, a pressure plate can be used to create traps so that the mob will activate it by stepping on the plate, and a button is great for activating from a distance. You don't even need Minecraft mods for mechanisms, since you can make a large number of devices and networks yourself.

The simplest example of a mechanism

A lot of information is now in front of you, and it may seem that putting it into practice will not be easy. Therefore, it is best to consider how they work in Minecraft 1.7.2 and in other versions (most often the differences are almost invisible, sometimes more objects simply appear in new versions, which expands the range of created mechanisms).

So, what could be simpler than an automatic door? You only need to install the door itself, as well as make a button or other switch. Connect the button and the door with redstone, making sure you haven't exceeded the twelve block limit, and then do the test. When you press the button, the network is activated, which transmits a signal along a strip of red dust, and the door opens. Now imagine how many opportunities this opens up for you. In addition, if you play the pocket version of Minecraft on mobile phone or tablet, then you should not have any problems. Mechanisms in Minecraft 0.8.1 work exactly the same as in full version games.

Popular uses of mechanisms

There are the most unusual ways to use mechanisms, but most often they are useful in traps. They can also be defensive structures, just like attacking ones, such as a cannon that shoots dynamite.

Installing mods

Of course, the original one is limited in capabilities. Therefore, you can install various modifications that add either new materials or new mechanism recipes. Minecraft mods for mechanisms are very common, as they make the game much more dynamic and exciting.
