Tactical shooters on PC initially served as examples of hardcore. The game series Operation Flashpoint, ArmA, Delta Force were created with an eye on gamers who love to overcome difficulties. Here the gameplay was subordinated to the idea of being as close to realism as possible. Everything was taken into account: the performance characteristics of the weapon, the physical parameters of the fighters, weather conditions, landscape features, and so on. Crawling across a field for half an hour to catch a bullet and die from bleeding - this happened all the time.
