Ebony armor. Skyrim Ebony Armor

Preface:
By its nature, any armor made from dragon bones has both organic grace and bestial power. Only a highly skilled smith can work with such a material at all, but a true master can incorporate knowledge of other metals to support bones and replace fragile skin with chain mail. Their talent and diligence results in armor that not only displays expert craftsmanship, but also rivals the work of the Daedra in defensive performance.

Description:
The Dragon Ebony Heavy Armor from this mod is a standalone set that combines the raw power of Dragon Bone with the more malleable elasticity of Ebonite. For a more logical gameplay, when making this armor you will need to have both the skills to create bone armor and the skills to create ebony armor at the same time. The protective characteristics of all parts of this armor will be almost like that of the Daedric. Armor can be forged at any forge in the Dragon and Bone categories.

Update: 1.1a (SE)
— Mod adapted for Skyrim SE
- Unlike the previous version, the mod is now packaged in .bsa files. Since we didn’t have this mod for Skyrim SE yet, but if you downloaded this mod of the previous version from the Nexus or from another site, then completely delete all files from version 1.0a, and then install the new version 1.1a.
— In theory, there may be some differences between SSE .nif files and those in the regular edition of Skyrim. I have done my best to test all the meshes and so far, as far as I can determine, everything is working.

More details:
— The mod includes two styles of armor (The sets of components for manufacturing are identical to each other, the choice is intended only for aesthetic purposes).
- 4 different types of helmets are available, in closed or open versions (a total of eight). Likewise, the characteristics and materials are identical; it's just a matter of taste.
- You can also craft a chainmail hood (Since it is not hard and uses almost no Dragon Bone, its protective characteristics are significantly less than those of helmets).
- However, while wearing a chainmail helmet, you can wear any type of Hoops.
- Heavy shield (with modified geometry) is included as part of the full set.
— All pieces of armor are upgraded using ebony ingots.
— Compatible with any race, gender, support for BodySliders.

What's included:
— Dragon Ebony Boots
— Dragon Ebony Gloves
— Dragon Ebony Armor
— Dragon Ebony Helm
— Draconic Ebony Breastplate
— Also options for helmets (closed, durable, great, classic, horned)

Any armor made of dragon bone is a combination of animal power and natural grace. Only the most skilled blacksmiths know how to work with such material. However, true craftsmen can use all their knowledge of forging materials to replace pieces of short-lived leather with much more durable ebony chain mail. Their experience and skills allow them to create armor that not only shows the highest level of professionalism, but in terms of protection can compete with Daedric armor.

Dragon Ebony Armor is a separate set of heavy armor that combines elements of dragon bone and ebony chain mail. While the armor is still considered dragon armor for gameplay purposes, crafting it requires the Dragon Bone and Ebony forging perks. In terms of protection, the armor is not inferior to Daedric armor.

Details:

  • Armor can be created at any forge.
  • The armor is in the dragon equipment section, but to create it you must have the perks for forging Daedric and Ebony armor.
  • There are two versions of the bib, the materials and characteristics are the same. The difference is only in appearance.
  • There are also six helmet options and two glove and boot options available, the materials and features are the same.
  • A chainmail hood can also be forged, but since it does not use dragon bone, it provides less protection than a helmet. At the same time, you can wear a headband (including an ethereal crown) with it at the same time.
  • The Heavy Shield is part of the complete set.
  • All pieces of armor can be upgraded using ebony ingots.
  • The armor is suitable for a character of any gender, race and build.

Update:
1.2d- Added segmented gloves and two new types of helmets.

1.3a- Completely redesigned gloves, added segmented boots, remade the original dragon bone helmet (now available in two versions)

1.4a- now all helmets have closed variants
minor improvements to the appearance of all armor.

1.4b- added full compatibility with mods and snow is now correctly displayed on helmets.

1.4s- minor improvements to helmets for better compatibility with women's hairstyles.

2.0a- added a clawed ebony helmet, slightly redone the normal maps, ebony looks darker, a bunch of small tweaks and improvements.

2.0b - added a replacer that changes all dragon armor to dragon ebony armor.
