Batman: Arkham Knight- an action-adventure game with a 3rd person view, developed by Rocksteady studios. The game will take place a year after the events of the previous part. Batman: Arkham Knight is the final part of the trilogy.
An unprecedented danger is looming over Gotham. The main villains will be the well-known anti-heroes Scarecrow, Harley Quinn, Two-Face and the Penguin, who have teamed up to finally deal with Batman. NVIDIA, being a partner of Rocksteady, has posted on its website the system requirements for comfortable game in Batman: Arkham Knight. To once again bring goodness and light to the residents of Gotham City, you will need a fairly productive platform.
In the minimum configuration, this should be a PC with a 4-core processor, 6 GB of RAM and a mid-level video card with 2 GB of memory on board.
The recommended system is a Core i7 or eight-core AMD FX, which is equipped with 8 GB of RAM and a GeForce GTX 760-level graphics adapter. Interestingly, for the latter it is desirable to have 3 GB of local memory. It's funny to see such a conflict on the manufacturer's website, considering that the GTX 760 is in most cases offered with 2 GB. This also applies to the GeForce GTX 960, which replaced the GTX 760. Yes, there are versions of the GTX 760 with 4 GB of memory on sale, but they are noticeably more expensive than the basic versions. GeForce GTX 960 also, but has not yet appeared on sale in Ukraine.
To play at ultra settings, the requirements for the processor and amount of RAM do not change, but it is better to change the video card to a GeForce GTX 980 with 4 GB of memory on board or its equivalent from AMD, which NVIDIA, of course, does not report.
Of the unusual, we note the different amount of free space on the drive required to install the game. In the first case it is 45 GB, for situations with improved graphics quality – 55 GB. Perhaps we are talking about additional sets textures with high resolution. In any case, it’s worth initially setting aside 60 GB [at this point you can hear the echo of sighing SSD owners].
Regardless of the quality of the settings, you will need a 64-bit version to run the game operating system. Interestingly, the developers have already announced that after the announcement of Windows 10 they will release a patch for Batman: Arkham Knight, which will add support for DirectX 12.
