In zombie shooters, you will have to go on forays for resources for different reasons and for different purposes, so that the player does not get bored. If successful, you will receive resources to expand your own headquarters, as well as valuable weapons and other upgrades for your “swallow”, a combat attack aircraft.

The missions are quite varied, so it is worth keeping an eye on the objectives indicated in the preliminary briefings. At the beginning, however, Zombie Gunship Survival will give you zombie warfare recruit training. For successfully completing all tasks you will receive the maximum number of medals; if some goals remain unachieved, then, alas, the reward will not be so generous. But you can always come back to earn a full set of rewards at levels that were not the most successful. A little grind in a zombie shooter definitely won't hurt.

The controls in Zombie Gunship Survival are quite simple. Before you start the mission, you should place your troops on the map - just tap on the right place, but beware of security towers and other dangers found in the levels. After deploying ground troops, you can go into battle in person, on a personal attack aircraft. Your task is to accompany your own troops, helping them with air support. Do you see zombies heading towards your warriors? Aim and shoot them with a powerful aircraft machine gun.

You can move the camera over the battlefield with your finger, and pinch to zoom in and out of the image in the sight. We aim the crosshairs at the zombies, and then tap and hold the weapon trigger on the left to shoot. If you have a lot of weapons and have a choice, then press the button of the weapon that is more suitable for a particular situation.

However, not everything is so simple. Machine guns and aircraft cannons can overheat from prolonged use, and ammunition is limited. So you won’t be able to mindlessly pour lead on hordes of zombies; you’ll have to calculate the duration of bursts quite accurately and aim carefully. Zombie Gunship Survival on Android and iPhone is a fresh and original take on zombie shooters, the popularity of which shows no sign of abating. An excellent sequel and a quality game for anyone who likes to shoot, especially if you prefer the “walking” dead as your target.

Despite the fact that this part is classified in the “Action” category on Google Play, I consider it an arcade game. Because, in fact, we just need to score more to get more gold coins. We will spend these coins to first open new weapons and then upgrade them to the maximum. In addition, for gold you can open new locations. Graphics and voice acting

Limbic acted very cunningly. Due to the fact that the game uses a night vision device, and negotiations and shooting reach us through a walkie-talkie, there was no point in bothering too much with graphics and voice acting. There is no particular need for detail, because in the black and white version of the NVD it is almost impossible to see the little things. And why do you need a high bitrate of sounds if they are still subject to the effect of walkie-talkie distortion? The only thing that can be noted is the absence of any serious visual effects, which is clearly noticeable in comparison with Zombie Gunship Survival.

Locations

In Zombie Gunship Zero, only one location is available for the game by default, called “Bunker”. Other maps can be unlocked using gold coins, which we will receive as we progress. So, you can open “Fortress”, “Fields” and “Village”. On each of the maps you can activate the warning mode, and then only crowds of zombies will go to the shelter. To activate, you need to save a certain number of people. By the way, the pilot is given the right to make two mistakes. When the third civilian is killed, the mission will automatically end. As well as when at least one zombie gets inside the shelter.

In fact, Zombie Gunship Zero doesn’t offer us much variety in this regard. There are only two types of enemies: small zombies and large ones. Small ones can be easily shot with machine guns, but large ones must first be treated with cannons, and then finished off with the same “Vulcans”.

In addition, the visual part has become noticeably better. The plane still circles in the sky, but we can scale the sight in free mode, whereas previously it depended on the gun. The visual effects came in very handy, and now everything looks like it’s happening in real life, and we ourselves are at the controls of a heavily armed AC-130.

Locations

In this regard, Zombie Gunship Survival is also different from Zero. The fact is that during the campaign we should organize raids on other people’s bases and take resources from there, and both the hordes of people who have risen from the graves and the defenders of the bases we attack will interfere with us. More specifically, we will meet resistance from machine gun towers and mortar bunkers. However, they also fight against zombies, so in some cases it makes sense not to destroy them so that they themselves can help us.

Opponents and weapons

In Zombie Gunship Zero we will again have to face ordinary zombies and hefty mutated individuals. However, they will also be supplemented by evil Rottweilers who will attack the fighters of the assault team. Yes, in this part we will not just destroy the enemies rushing to the shelter, but will cover the squad. After completing their tasks, his fighters will request evacuation (can be done manually after clearing the first building), and during this time they also need to be covered. If all squad members die, the mission is automatically considered failed.

A wide variety awaits players in terms of weapons. There’s a lot of stuff here: machine guns, automatic cannons, anti-aircraft guns, and missile containers... In general, in terms of the arsenal, there’s plenty to roam around. In addition, the same weapon is presented in three types: uncommon, rare and epic. And they differ, as one might understand, in their characteristics. You can pump up your arsenal for a very long time, upgrading the damage by level, and then doing evolution (stars). So the toy will clearly stay on your smartphone for more than one day.
