"Stalker" is computer game, which surprised many. It's no secret that the Slavic gaming industry very rarely produces worthy projects. Neither Russia, nor Belarus, nor Ukraine can boast of a large number of masterpieces recognized throughout the world. But “Stalker” is one of the few exceptions, because this stealth shooter has captivated millions of players around the world. A total of three parts were released, each of which deserves special attention - the developers did not hack, did not try to cash in on the finished product, but made three full-fledged, high-quality games, one better than the other.

However, “Stalker: Shadows of Chernobyl” should be considered separately, since the Ukrainian developers succeeded better than others in this project. But this is not the only reason - it is also worth looking at because of the existence of the modification “The Way of Man”, based specifically on this part. This mod is incredibly successful and popular, but it does not contain a separate story company or a branch of an existing one. What is the modification “Stalker: The Human Path”, the passage of which, however, will take quite a long time? Why does it attract users so much?

The path of man - what is it?

If we are talking about the Path of Man, it is better to leave the passage for last. After all, it is worth considering that this is still not a plot addition, so there is no separate campaign here. It is worth noting that the graphics in better side- this is exactly what we worked on in the first place. But that's not all - the locations have been redesigned, a large number of new places, characters, and items have been added. Of course, new enemies have been added, and some of the existing ones have been reworked.

And the highlight of all this is the very essence of the modification. As stated earlier, it does not add new story, but at the same time significantly extends the playing time. But how does this happen? Everything is very simple - this modification adds more than seventy non-plot quests to the game that you can complete. This is another ten, or even twenty hours of gameplay in this wonderful game, which cannot but rejoice. You will cope with the tasks assigned to you as you progress through the main storyline, which was not touched. So you won't lose anything if you install this mod- you will only gain even more vivid impressions from the game.

Now that you have an idea of ​​what changes the “Stalker: The Human Path” modification makes to the game, you can look at the passage more deeply and carefully. Naturally, it is impossible to write detailed walkthrough several dozen quests, but it is quite possible to indicate, for example, the location of certain key objects that are most difficult to find.

What is important in the new modification?

As you know, the Stalker series is a stealth shooter, which means you need to act silently if possible. But sometimes the main plot unfolds so quickly that you can barely keep up with it. At the same time, you need to approach each task very carefully in order to be able to complete it. In the quests added by the modification "Stalker: The Human Path", the passage is based precisely on this aspect - moreover, special emphasis is placed on it. You need to read all the notes and journals very carefully, study locations, search chests for clues. Only then will you have a chance to complete this or that quest. If you try to complete the game at speed, without stopping at locations, then there is a huge chance that this modification will go unnoticed by you. You will not be able to complete any of the started quests, and you will not even take many of them to complete. Therefore, if you want to get the most out of the gameplay, you need to take the tasks assigned to you seriously. It is then that completing the game “Stalker: The Human Path” will become a real holiday for you.

Initial quests

The first problem you may encounter is in the quest "A Watch for the Fist". The passage of the game "Stalker: The Human Path", by the way, will become more and more difficult as the plot develops. Therefore, the quests will increase in complexity. For example, the above task is one of the simplest. You just need to go to the anomaly next to Sidor's bunker and find the iron box, which is located next to the large pipe - the clock you are looking for will be there. IN next quest, which the Fan will give you, you will need to find a special herb, beautiful swampweed. Here everything is even simpler - you can find a swamp under the main bridge, as well as on both sides of it, so focus on this structure in this quest.

If you need to find a special artifact for Peps, called the Devil, you need to go to the landfill, or rather to its eastern part. There is a dead end where a tree grows, you need to climb it - and there you will find an artifact. Don't rush to leave the landfill, because there you will need to complete another quest - from Kuznetsov. He will ask you to find a cache, and it is located behind the easternmost pile of garbage. The heap is quite large, so you shouldn't have any problems searching for it. You need to find another cache according to Chirk’s instructions - to do this, go to Argoprom, find the barracks there and climb into the attic. By the way, at the landfill you will also need to find a Dill machine gun - Prapor will give you this order. The weapon is located south of Kuznetsov's hiding place, next to a fallen tree. Well, the most interesting quest at the initial stage it is a search for a special Art, which is called the Gift of Life. Pestretsova gives him a tip, but Solomon sends you directly to the task itself. This is the walkthrough in “Stalker: The Human Path” - caches are scattered all over the world, you need to find them without missing a single centimeter of the map, paying attention to all the clues. Even more art and hiding places

If you are interested in what the passage of the game “Stalker: The Human Path” is like, there will be hiding places everywhere. You shouldn't expect anything unusual, exciting or dramatic, because that's all you need from the main storyline. At the same time, you should not think that all seventy quests are monotonous boring. This is not so - each task is logically justified, has its own backstory, its own characters and an interesting outcome. Therefore, it definitely makes sense to do them.

You will need to look for art for Sakhorov under x16 in an iron pipe, right at the dead end. Grandfather Kirill will give Natasha a tip about the Clinic, and you, naturally, will need to find it. It is located near a rock; you need to look under one of the stones. But, since there will be a lot of stones in the area, you need to focus on large concentrations of zombies.

Don’t think that the tasks have all become more complicated - there are quite a few simple quests. For example, Fedka will ask you to bring him gasoline; you can easily find the necessary canister in a landfill under an abandoned UAZ car. Finding the notebook that the Mole asks you to bring to him will be more difficult, but you can do it without any problems. You just need to get to the cliff and search the pipe that leads to it. The flash drive for the Bullet can be found at the bandits’ base, but you’ll have to tinker with it. Pestretsova, already known to you, gave the tip to Skryag, and according to it you need to go to the southern part of the forest. There you will find two chimera wolves, after defeating them it will not be difficult to find the art.

For the game "Stalker" the mod "The Way of Man" was an excellent expansion that makes it much longer without making it more boring. Therefore, installing this mod is recommended for absolutely all fans of the series - it will force you to go through the game again, only to see it in a different light.

Quests become more difficult

If you decide to play Stalker: The Human Path, a guide can be very useful to you, because over time the tasks you will be given more and more complex ones. There are fewer and fewer clues, and the necessary items are hidden more and more secludedly. For example, you will need to find a black claw - you remember that at the beginning of the game you were already sent for grass. But then you just needed to go down under the bridge, and here you need to find a suitable location and go through it almost completely in order to find the necessary thickets on the edge behind the pipes. You need to look for the flask for Kruglov on Dikaya, but it will not be so easy - you will first need to find an unfinished house where mercenaries live. Next to it there will be a booth, behind which the desired item will be found. Another flask for Kruglov can be found on Yantar, in a pipe located in the northern part of the location. Completing difficult tasks

Multitasking quests

Towards the end of the game, you will increasingly encounter quests in which you will need to find not just one item, but several at once. However, you should not expect that they will all be in the same room. The “Stalker: The Human Path” Final level, the completion of which will bring an end to your efforts, will be the last in the campaign, and you may feel that you need to complete all the remaining quests before completing it. But don’t rush - the fact is that this mod also adds a freeplay mode to the game, that is, after the end of the story campaign, you can freely travel around the world and complete those quests that you didn’t have time to do. However, it is better to complete tasks as the game progresses, even if they have several tasks in themselves. For example, Screw will ask you to find both a converter and a sledgehammer in the TD. The first item is located in a hiding place next to the stairs to the second floor, and the second is located near the pipe, which is already located on the second floor. The meta-positions of both items are not too far from each other, which makes the quest easier than others in the genre. As mentioned earlier, towards the end of the game the quests become more and more complex, so you will have to work hard to solve them. For example, Voronin will give you the task of finding three caches at once, and each of them will not be very easy to find. And they will not be located very close to each other: one is in the bar, the other is on Dikaya, and the third is generally in x16 - there you will need to look into the room where the Ghost’s corpse is located. The player will also need to find three caches, one of which will be at the Freedom base, where you will need to climb to the roof of the main building, the other - on the roof of the bar, and the third - on the Wild. There you will need to make your way to the farthest platform, where you will find what you need. In general, towards the end of the game you will need to look for solid caches - only sometimes you will be given tasks to find special items. For example, an ecologist of German origin will ask you to find the videotape he needs - its location is in the tunnel, in the very corner where there is an abandoned car. You will also need to bring Screw a couple of drawings - you will find one of them in the Dark, and the other in the landfill.

Latest quests

As mentioned earlier, by the end of the game the modification quests will reach their maximum level difficulties, and you will have to put in a lot of effort to complete them. Of course, this does not mean that they will be practically impassable, but if you compare them with those that you received at the beginning of the game, the result will surprise you. If in the first missions you needed to bring some item from a nearby location without any difficulties on the way or problems with detection, then in the latter these will already be multi-level tasks, to solve which you will need to overcome the resistance of opponents, very carefully understand notes and hints, as well as carefully comb the area to find the desired item. But, as you already understand, you shouldn’t expect anything supernatural from these tasks. All of them are built on the same principle - a non-player character gives you a task to find a particular item, you collect clues that point you to its location, find it and bring it to the right character.

Many people, looking back at the part of their life they have already lived, think about what they did right and what was a mistake. What was achieved and what remained a pipe dream. “Have I been doing my own thing all my previous life?” - the man asks himself. Did I make friends with those people, respect them, or love them? Am I happy, have I made my loved ones happy? Why did I come into this world?

These are age-old questions. People have been looking for answers to them at all times. And few people found it. There is no one answer to such questions that is the same for everyone. For each person, the answers can only be their own, individual, not similar to anyone else. But what if the soul still does not calm down and searches, does not find and searches again?

The answer is simple - the search must continue.

In order to facilitate such a search, transfer it from a philosophical plane to a practical one, suggest the most effective search methods and point out the most common mistakes and misconceptions, we have begun this series of publications under the general title “The Way of Man.”

So what is the human path? Where does it begin, where does it lead, how does it pass, what does it depend on? Can a person change something along this path? Philosophical answers to all these questions have long been given by many ancient teachings. We will not argue with the wisdom of the ancients, but we consider it quite appropriate and even necessary to take a fresh look at many of the fundamental concepts of these teachings, as if to “modernize” them.

The need for a new look at ancient wisdom was seen after attempts were made to apply ancient philosophy practically, to use it in our daily lives. Such attempts have shown that this philosophy not only does not work in practice, but sometimes even causes harm, introduces instability and unpredictability into social aspects a person’s life, can lead to a decrease in income and loss of previously acquired authority and influence in society. Simply put, the attempt to take the path to liberation using the philosophy of ancient teachings, in practice, did not lead to increased freedom, but to increased social coercion. And the longer the traveler persisted, the more he strove for liberation, the stronger the social pressure became. Willy-nilly, I had to think: “What kind of path to liberation is this, following which you come to increased coercion?”

The desire to find an answer to this question stimulated new searches and forced us to rethink everything that was previously known and about which there was no doubt. As a result of these searches, the practical method to determine All possible options for the development of events in the life of a particular person. But for the successful application of this method in practice, it is necessary to take into account three of its fundamental features.

  • The first feature is that the method is universal, but it gives individual recommendations that are true only for one specific person. Using the method by another person will give completely different recommendations.
  • The second feature is that the method gives All possible options for the development of the life line for a given person, but the task of choice one Of these, only the person himself can decide.
  • The third feature is that only a trained person with a worldview freed from many misconceptions inherent in the average member of society can effectively use the results of the method.

The Path of Man Return is a plot modification that is essentially a continuation of the line of mods The Path of Man, and in particular the last part called Deja Vu. Like the previous part of the mod, Return is built on the platform of the game Stalker PM, the basis for which was AMK 1.4.1 and the Alternative project. In this part, in addition to the main storyline, the player will be treated to completely new quest branches and a lot of secondary tasks, despite the fact that almost all of the old characters will be replaced by new ones, however, among the old acquaintances, in addition to Bartender and Sidorovich, some will still be lucky enough to meet. It is worth noting that one of the main features of this part is the lack of an original plot of Shadows of Chernobyl.

The plot of the mod will begin in the Prezonye location, from where it will actually begin its long and thorny path main character fashion. The main theme of the storyline, as before, is the noble mission of helping people, where Marked One will have to find, outside the perimeter, a vital medicine for one little girl who is the granddaughter of a retired, elderly colonel.

Two of the original quests have been changed so far, now Shustry will not give you the flash drive, you will need to take it yourself, where he managed to hide it, the quest for the case from the checkpoint, now there will be no blood, Sidor will explain everything.
At Cordon, in addition to familiar characters, there will be new ones. Almost all the main characters have quests; on Cordon, the quests are not particularly difficult, although depending on who you are, the further into the Zone, the tasks or requests will be more difficult. I don’t expect many people to like my work, but I think there will be my admirers.
I won’t describe everything from start to finish, otherwise it will simply not be interesting, but I discovered some well-known characters from a completely different side, perhaps even from a side that no one had even thought about. The mod is called “The Way of Man”, the hero here is presented as an ordinary person who is ready to come to the aid of those who really need it. Well, I think that's enough about quests for now.

What is there, bug fixes, a lot of new quests, new characters, quests have been added to Chernobyl NPP 1. Changes will be made immediately from the Cordon, I think you will notice that I have corrected a few things, there are practically very few freebies as always.
There is a cache on Cordon, no one has information about it, it’s for luck, you’ll find it well, if you don’t, it means you’re still a young stalker)), the cache isn’t particularly hidden. There were some flights, but everything seemed to go well, there didn’t seem to be any particularly stressful ones. My advice, maybe I’m wrong, but who knows in Pripyat, when you go on the quest to the station, don’t go to the stadium through the main entrance, go through the hole in the grate.

What I also want to say is that this is my first work in which I appeared as a quest-taker, what happened is up to you to judge, but don’t judge strictly, I’m already as nervous as on a first date.
A few words regarding the mod, let me remind you again, read the dialogues carefully, no one will lead you by the hand, you are a master of your craft, STALKER. Balance in stalker has always been a controversial matter, here the balance is what I like, it seems to be not enough, but enough, whatever one may say, by the middle of the game, the GG will be strong. At Cordon, when you take the quest from Nikita, there is no need to rush to complete it , especially since it won’t work out, what he asks for, you will get everything in the game, if you don’t miss anything and play correctly, several unexpected turns await you, well, that’s how it seemed to me, I did as best I could, nothing beyond the impossible not in fashion, except maybe a piece of my soul. In fashion, it’s not that there’s a new plot, but the old one, it seemed to me, would be played differently, try it, don’t like it, quit, no one is forcing anyone to play.
