Description:

“You're tired of all sorts of Freddy and Jason. You need more classics,” the developers decided and added to the game not Sindel with a ghostly skin or Reina from the story following the example of Baraka, but Jade straight from the 9th part of the game with a new redrawn skin. Such nods from the developers give us hope that it’s not just in our dreams to see Kabal, Nightwolf and other favorite characters in mobile version games. The main thing is that the developers have a desire, but the weed does not run out. Look, they'll deliver Mockup with a diamond edging.

Jade Assassin's combat and special moves are taken from the 9th part of the game, and are not at all similar to Kitana's Sorrowful style. It’s fast enough, but the convenience of combo attacks leaves much to be desired, so you’ll have to adjust to the pace of the fight, and the pressure can only be with a block breaker, but even then it doesn’t interrupt Liu Kan and Cassie.

In terms of stats, she is quite powerful - attack (49k) and health (101k) are close to the top indicators, so the character is balanced, quite tenacious, and special moves do a lot of damage.

The icing on the cake will be, although not entirely unique, but a rather impressive passive, which allows you to randomly dodge special moves, like , and immediately counterattack, crippling your opponent. The probability of dodging is approximately the same as that of the above-mentioned Jason, but in addition to special moves, Jade can also dodge finishing combo attacks, which makes the fight with her even more difficult and nervous, and therefore the chance of dodging is distributed. So don’t expect almost complete invulnerability to special moves, but don’t be afraid to miss a manual combo once again. On top of that, it is stated that Jade rotates faster, but in reality she simply deals small damage both when leaving the battlefield and when appearing on it. The character is required to be purchased.

Weapon: one could rant about the fact that Jade doesn’t have enough damage, so throw on the Hammer of Wrath, or a block breaker for pressure, but the native equipment of the Bojutsu Staff has an interesting bonus purely for her, which is directly related to the passive. The meaning of this bonus is that after EVERY dodge, Jade’s entire attack(!) increases by 60% (at X-fusion), attention, an UNLIMITED number of times. At the same time, her hands begin to glow as an indicator of increased damage. As a result, 2 dodges give more than 2 times increased attack. Thus, on the 3rd dodge with a counterattack blow, you destroy HP as after the 1st special move or even more. This makes Jade an absolute imbecile, dealing an obscene amount of damage without simply doing anything. Most likely this will be fixed, but for now the best option the weapon will be the native Staff.

Armor: standard increase in health reserves so that you can stay in battle longer. Tactical Vest, Hockey Mask, Lizard Armor to choose from.

Accessory: increasing the charge of power is the best option for her, since it is with powerful special techniques that she crushes her opponent. Soul Medallion, Bound Demon, Voodoo Doll, Red Bandana will do.

Jade Assassin Abilities

Passive: Vanishing Winds

Jade has a chance to dodge any special move or combo finisher. After dodging, she performs a crippling attack that cannot be blocked.

First Special Move: Staff Slap

Jade jumps up and strikes her opponent with a powerful blow from above with her pole. It is recommended not to do it after the second combo strike due to the large distance (there is a high probability of a miss), but after the first combo strike it is the other way around, because this is the best moment - the enemy does not even have time to stand up, while receiving full damage from the special move.

Pierces the enemy's shield.

Second Special Move: Spinning Staff

Jade delivers a series of blows to her opponent while spinning her staff in front of her.

Third special move (X-ray): "Virtuoso of the Staff"

A very, very small set of attacks for X-ray - Jade hits the enemy between the legs with her staff, then she hits him in the back with the staff and breaks his spine.

Characteristics

Below are the stats at level 50 and fusion 7 with fully upgraded support cards.

The game “Mortal Kombat” won the hearts of thousands of teenagers and is still one of the top-rated computer entertainments. The project introduces the player to various heroes, including warlike men and women who are not inferior to them. Jade is one of the latter.

History of creation

Jade appeared in the second episode of the project. Her biography remained a mystery, as she acted as a “dark horse”. The girl became a clone of the fighter along with Smoke and Noob Saibot. Her prototype was Kitana. The heroines are childhood friends. They kept each other company in training, practicing strikes and techniques. Jade was part of the squad as an assassin. After the betrayal, she had to, together with Reptile, return the princess who had fled to the Earthly Kingdom. Jade took the path of betrayal and turned out to be the best warrior that Princess Kitana had.

Soon, the character Jade appeared in the ultimate version of the game, where the girl had personal techniques and skillfully handled steel fans. The creators of the project paid attention to the heroine, returning her to the project in the sixth, seventh and ninth parts.

"Mortal Kombat"

IN new chronology Jade was a mercenary who served. Distinguished by her dexterity and ingenuity, she passed any test to destroy her opponent. In this version, it is known that she is a descendant of a noble family. The girl was among the emperor's servants for many years. Appearing at court as a little girl, she grew up next to the ruler and turned from an offering into an instrument of retribution. The Emperor brought Jade closer to Princess Kitana and entrusted her with the protection of the heiress.

Having made friends with her ward, Jade took the order of the emperor seriously, who believed that if the princess fiercely resisted, she would have to be killed. The heroine meets at the moment of the Mortal Kombat, when she joins Kitana at the throne of Shang Tsung. In the first fight, Blade becomes her opponent. Together with the defeated warriors, Jade was forced to return to the Outer World, where she also participated in the tournament. In the battle in the Armory, Jade confronted Raiden and Jax. The latter defeated the girl in a fight.

Jade accompanied Kitana, who was expelled from the Colosseum, on her way to the Wasteland. The bodyguard tried to convince the princess to submit to the will of the emperor, as Shao Kahn was angry at her behavior. To avoid conflict, the girls separated for a while. Raiden, who appeared after Jade left, carried Kitana into Shang Tsung's Pits of Flesh, where she was barred from entering. Jade tracked Kitana on her journey, as she promised the emperor to prevent the princess from getting into the laboratory. The executive mercenary entered into battle with her friend to fulfill the owner’s instructions. Kitana won, but was imprisoned.

By choosing to betray her friend, Jade did the wrong thing. Over time, realizing the mistake, she tried to save the princess. The magic spells cast on the prisoner had to be removed, but it was difficult to free Kitana. It was necessary to ask for help from Raiden and fight with Mileena, Kitana's double. After grueling battles with Mileena and Smoke, Jade reached her goal. The girl accepted death from. The warrior's soul went to the Underworld.

Jade demonstrated amazing fighting skills. In the fight, she used hand-to-hand combat techniques and weapons. The boken was her favorite instrument. The girl used sharpened boomerangs and poles. Magic spells were also in her arsenal. She is capable of teleportation and the ability to create a protective field around herself. Like other heroes, Jade has several fatalities, which require using a combination of buttons on the computer keyboard. The heroine uses specific techniques and attacks or their combos.

Jade in Mortal Kombat

The heroine's appearance is similar to Kitana's palette. She has dark skin color. The mercenary walks without a mask and without a suit to protect her body. She is dressed in a revealing green outfit. IN late games The girl’s appearance was modernized, adding nuances to her outfit.

Film adaptations

Actress and model Irina Pantaeva portrayed Jade in the film “ Mortal Kombat: Extermination", released in 2000. In the film adaptation of the game, the heroine chose loyalty to the emperor over a good relationship with her friend. She collaborated with the Earth warriors and was given over to be torn to pieces by the gargoyle. There is no mention of the close connection between the mercenary and the ward in the plot of the film. Unlike computer games, in the film, Jade is portrayed as mulatto rather than Asian.

Assassin Jade was used to create a character named Kali, a participant in the film Mortal Kombat: Conquest. Being a close friend of Kitana, the heroine is afraid of the emperor's punishment, so she indulges his will.

Jade is a popular Mortal Kombat character. Art fanfictions are dedicated to her, and at thematic cosplay festivals, the heroine’s costume is often preferred by girls creating an image from the universe of the same name.

So in this blog we will look at female characters from Mortal Kombat- a cult series of fighting games, known for its cruelty, polished gameplay and so-called “fatalities” (a spectacular system of bloody finishing moves). This year the franchise, which is very popular all over the world, including in Russia, celebrates its 22nd anniversary. Let's congratulate her!

Ashra

Let's start with Ashra, a demon killer hiding under the guise of a modest and pretty girl. Its first appearance took place in 2004, with the release of the sixth part, known under the title Deception. A little biography: so, Ashra is a former member of Quan Chi's Brotherhood of Shadow. She dared to disobey the sorcerer's order and he sent Ashra's sisters in the Brotherhood to kill her. During her escape from Hell, Ashra was able to find an unusual sword - Kriss, which can cleanse the soul of its owner from the curse. After destroying countless demons, she left the Underworld, finding herself in an unfamiliar reality, in front of several celestial creatures that seemed to be woven from light. They told Ashra that Criss could turn her into a powerful warrior, and that she herself was the chosen one. The killer decided to cleanse the world of Darkness in order to ascend to these beings, becoming the “Angel of Light”. The creatures sent her to the reality of Waterneus - the world of vampires, where the heroine began a total purge, but one, Nitara, managed to hide in Edenia.

Gemini

Gemini is Jax's liaison, to whom she is clearly not indifferent, giving him important information from headquarters. Appears in the 2000 spin-off Special Forces.

Delia

Delia is the heroine of the seventh part of Armageddon (2006), a powerful seer of Edenia, the wife of Argus, the god and Protector of Edenia, and the mother of Taven and Daegon, two demigods. Her visions of impending Armageddon prompted Argus to come up with a plan in which their sons would be kept in hibernation for many years until the journey began. Delia created Blaze, a fire elemental, to awaken Taven and Daegon so that he would be defeated by one of them in a battle that would decide the fate of the remaining warriors. She also placed her image in the monoliths created by her husband to teach the children during their journey.

Jataka

Along with Sarina and Kya, Jataka is one of three assassins serving Quan Chi's Brotherhood of Shadow in Mythologies: Sub-Zero, the 1997 spin-off series about the infamous Sub-Zero. Each of them protects one piece of crystal, which, when assembled together, allows access to Quan Chi's throne room through a teleportation device located on the top floor of the pyramid. Jataka is a demon from the Underworld who uses magic to maintain her attractive appearance. She fights using a laser sword, from which she can also shoot “blue bolts of energy.”

Jade

Jade's debut took place in the second part, dated 1993, where she was a secret character. The heroine is Kitana's childhood friend; they grew up and trained together. Both girls, as well as Mileena, were part of the detachment of personal assassins of the Emperor of the Outer World, Shao Kahn. After Kitana betrayed the Emperor and killed Mileena, Jade and Reptile were sent to retrieve the princess, who had fled to Earthrealm. Faced with the choice of betraying her friend or going against Shao Kahn's will, Jade chose the latter. She subsequently became one of Edenia's finest warriors, serving Queen Sindel and Kitana. In the new chronology, Jade got in touch with Raiden’s earthly warriors after Kitana was imprisoned in the Tower. She informed Liu Kang and Kung Lao of the princess's whereabouts, and later, after Shao Kahn's defeat, she joined Raiden's warriors.

Cameleona

Kameleona is the last female of the Zaterrian race of intelligent lizards, also known as the Raptors. She spent a lot of time finding a way to kill Shao Kahn and find Reptile, who was in the service of the emperor. During the invasion of Kahn's troops into Earthrealm, Kameleona fought on the side of the earthlings. She finally managed to make contact with Reptile and tell him the truth about what happened to their race. Reptile initially agreed to help Kameleone kill Shao Kahn, but then again fell under the influence of the emperor and attacked her, putting her to flight. After this, Kameleona spent several years aimlessly traveling through various worlds, unsure of what she could do to stop Shao Kahn. During her travels, she managed to overhear at a meeting of warriors that weapons of great power would soon appear in Edenia. The winner of a certain battle will receive incredible power equal to the power of the gods. The more disturbing news was that Shao Kahn also planned to gain this power. Kameleona decided that she would not allow this power to fall into the hands of Shao Kahn; she herself will find this weapon and use it to punish the emperor and those who served him.

Kia

Like Jataaka and Sarina, Kia is a member of the Brotherhood of Shadow. She works for Quan Chi as an assassin and guards one piece of the crystal that, when put together, can give access to Quan Chi's throne room. It can be assumed that the heroine is a demon from the Underworld, using magic that maintains her attractive human appearance. In battle, the girl uses boomerangs with blades.

Kira

Before joining the Black Dragon, Kira disguised herself as a man and sold weapons in the mountains of Afghanistan. During one of the transactions, the terrorists accidentally discovered that she was a girl and attacked her. Kira had no choice but to fight her way out. When the heroine left the cave alone, Kabal was already waiting for her. He decided that a woman who could do business with an organization of extremist thugs was worthy of joining the new Black Dragon.

Kitana

In the original chronology, Kitana was the daughter of the rulers of the world of Edenia, but after their world was captured by Shao Kahn, he took Queen Sindel as his wife and adopted Kitana. For many thousands of years, Kitana was raised by the emperor, whom she considered her real father. But shortly before the tournament in the Outer World, she managed to find out the truth about her origin, and she began to wait for an opportunity to betray Shao Kahn. During the tournament, she came into contact with Earth's wars, and later fled to Earthrealm, killing her clone, Mileena. There she joined the earth's warriors and, during Shao Kahn's invasion of Earth, was able to return her mother Sindel to the side of good. After defeating Kahn, Kitana and Sindel set about rebuilding Edenia. But soon Edenia again became the target of attack by evil forces. This time the attacker was the fallen elder god Shinnok, who, with the help of the traitor Tanya, was able to get into Edenia along with his army of Darkness. Kitana was imprisoned, but Mileena helped her escape. After defeating Shinnok, Kitana united the forces of Edenia and Outworld to finally defeat the remnants of Shao Kahn's empire. Her mission was interrupted by the death of her ally Goro, as well as a new mission from Raiden, who wanted Kitana to help Earth's best warriors defeat the Deadly Alliance of sorcerers Shang Tsung and Quan Chi. During the attack on Shang Tsung's palace, all earthly warriors, including Kitana, were killed. But almost immediately they were resurrected by a new tyrant - the Dragon King Onaga, who made them into his personal killing squad. Kitana and the rest of the warriors gained freedom thanks to Liu Kang and Ermak. She took part in final battle at the Pyramid of Argus.

Li Mei

Li Mei was a resident of a small village in Outer World. Along with the rest of the inhabitants, she was captured by the Deadly Alliance troops under the leadership of Kano, who went into the service of the sorcerers after the death of Shao Kahn. The Deadly Alliance tasked them with building a huge palace around stone buildings located on a nearby plateau. Using Shinnok's amulet, Quan Chi created a giant vortex of souls. While enslaved, Li Mei dared to attack Kano himself. Quan Chi, interested in her abilities, invited the girl to participate in a tournament organized by the Deadly Alliance. If she can win, then the sorcerers will release all the captives; if not, then they will remain in slavery forever. Li Mei had no choice but to agree to participate. She managed to win the tournament, but the reward was not at all what she expected. The Deadly Alliance held a tournament to choose best warrior and transfer his soul into the body of one of the Dragon King's soldiers. Bo'Rai Cho managed to interrupt the ritual and take Li Mei from the palace - for this reason, he did not take part in the attack of earthly warriors on Shang Tsung and Quan Chi. Bo'Rai Cho not only saved Li Mei, but also took her as a student. Thanks Under his mentorship, Li Mei became not only stronger, but also began to feel like a true defender of the Outer World from evil. Together with Bo'Rai Cho, she entered the army of the Edenians who fought with the Tarkatans sent by the Dragon King. Although Li Mei was saved, that moment. In which her soul occupied the body of one of the Dragon King's soldiers, did not go unnoticed - she began to feel a strange sympathy for Onaga.

Milina

Mileena is a clone of Kitana, created by the sorcerer Shang Tsung for Shao Kahn. During the creation of Mileena, Shang Tsung used the blood of the Edenian Kitana and the blood of the Tarkatans, a race of ferocious mutants living in the wastelands of Outworld. The sorcerer hoped to make Mileena more loyal to the emperor, but his experiment was not entirely successful - as a result of an error, Mileena's face turned out to be disfigured and instead of a normal human mouth, she had a huge mouth, like a Tarkatan, dotted with large and sharp teeth. At the beginning of the series, Mileena's biggest dream was to kill Kitana and prove that she is better than the princess in everything. But after Kitana's death at the hands of the Tarkatans and the Deadly Alliance, Mileena finally took her place, fulfilling her destiny, and at the same time gained control of the united army of Edenia and the Outer World. Freeing her mind from thoughts of revenge, Mileena decided to take over the Outer World herself. Her plans were not allowed to come true, as Shao Kahn returned along with Goro and Shang Tsung and reoccupied his fortress. Mileena had to give him the right to reign in the Outer World, but she did not give up her plans to be a queen, turning her gaze to Edenia.

Nitara

Nitara spent a lot of time finding the location of the mysterious sphere that made her world part of the Outer World. Finally, the heroine managed to find her, but she found herself buried under a layer of molten lava. Fortunately for Nitara, before this she managed to meet Cyrax in the Outer World. The vampire decided that the cyborg would be able to get the sphere out of the lava and remain unharmed, but she needed to offer him something in return. To do this, she decided to use Reptile. Nitara gave him the Kirehashi sword, an artifact of the Zatterian civilization, and at the same time told him about the location of Kitana's troops. This is what delayed Reptile and prevented him from warning Shao Kahn about the impending plot of Shang Tsung and Quan Chi. Reptile, returning to the palace, found only the dead body of his master. For some time, Reptile wandered around Outworld until he came across Nitara again. He offered her his services. Nitara ordered him to attack Cyrax, telling Reptile that he was an invader from Earthrealm. She said that the cyborg could be weakened by destroying the console on his arm, which Cyrax actually used to travel between worlds. Reptile did as he was ordered - he damaged the console on Cyrax's hand, but was forced to flee from the cyborg's powerful attacks. Immediately after this, Nitara appeared in front of Cyrax and offered him a deal: the cyborg would get her the sphere, and she would send him to Earthrealm. Although Cyrax did not trust the vampire, he agreed to help her. The two of them went to the location of the sphere - the incubation chamber of the last Dragon King - Onaga. Once in place, Cyrax descended into the lava and took out the sphere, after which he gave it to Nitara. The vampire, as promised, sent the cyborg to the Earthly Kingdom. After that, she broke the sphere and finally separated her world from the Outer World. After the destruction of the sphere, Nitara lost consciousness, and when she woke up, she was already in her native reality.
