In Fallout 76, power armor is scattered throughout the map. In some locations it appears regularly, and in others it spawns with a fairly large degree of randomness, but still, with a certain amount of luck and perseverance, you can find it.
Getting a full set of power armor in Fallout 76 is not as easy as you would like, because individual parts require very high level, and you'll probably just have to store them somewhere in reserve at first. In addition, you will constantly need nuclear blocks for the armor to work. But, even with these disadvantages, this is the most best option to get through truly challenging bosses and difficult areas of the game.
So, in Fallout 76, power armor is scattered throughout the map. When you first get power armor, you will have to remove all the protective gear you already have on to put on the armor frame. - Raider power armor – level 15;

So if you find power armor, then you first need to remove all pieces of equipment and put them in your inventory in order to climb inside. When you get outside, you can “pick up” it and add it to your equipment list. It will also be automatically picked up if you leave the game area or lose your connection, so you don't have to worry about losing such a valuable find. If we understand the current game system correctly, then you can store an unlimited number of sets of clothes, but you can only “become attached” to one. It is this single set that is guaranteed to not be used (stolen) by anyone else.
Fallout 76 Power Armor Locations
So far, we have discovered 15 locations where power armor has spawned. It doesn't always spawn in the same place and can be picked up by a more efficient player, but its frame almost always remains in the same place. So if you come across an empty frame, it might be worth coming back a little later when the set becomes available again. Additionally, the Power Armor suits themselves can end up in various random locations throughout the map. In this case, the player can benefit from higher luck scores.
The following locations of power armor are currently known in Fallout 76:
- Vault 63. It is located almost directly north of Vault 76, in the Ash Heap. There is power armor here, which gives you a bonus when mining resources. The vault door is locked using an electronic terminal, so you'll need an access card to open it;
- Nuclear-Cola production plant" If you find yourself near this place, you are guaranteed to pay attention to it, because the factory building is made in the shape of a giant bottle. Head south/southwest from Vault 76 and you'll find it near a fork in the river. Once you're inside (you may need to pick the lock), go down to the basement and find a large room with some construction equipment like a crane or yellow bulldozer. - Point Pleasant. You'll most likely head to Point Pleasant to visit the Mothman Museum, but you might also pick up some power armor from there as well. You need to find the green truck in front of the store called Barnado's and use the vehicle to climb onto the roof of the nearby building (watch out for the Burnts). Look for another metal staircase that will take you up one floor. There you will find a wooden path, at the end of which power armor awaits you;
- WV Lumber Co sawmill. It is located far to the northwest of the map, near the river. The picture is spoiled a little by the fact that this sawmill is teeming with super mutants, but there is power armor there;
- Hornwright Industrial Mining Company (Hornright Industrial Mining Company). In Charlestown, south of Vault 76 near the river crossing, you can receive a quest that will lead you to power armor. This is a long mission. You have to get necessary cards access and pass the exam at the terminal, but at the end of this path a worthy reward will await you;
- Unmarked cave. Head north, just above Vault 76. There you can find a cave containing Raider Power Armor:
- Aaronholdt Homestead. To the north and slightly west of Vault 76 is a farm. Near some granaries there is a shed with a power generator outside (don't forget to take the nuclear unit). Inside this shed there is power armor, which is just waiting for someone to borrow it for good;
- Moundsville Penitentiary. There are a huge number of super mutants in this place, so it's probably not worth going there early in the game. When you're ready to fight, fight your way through the enemy lines and look for the yellow building behind. Inside you will find power armor;
- Morgantown Warehouse. In Morgantown, east of Vault 76, you will notice the Mama Dolce food production facility. Near it there will be a small shack or shed with a generator located nearby (where you can take a nuclear unit). Inside - remember the traps - there is power armor;
- The barn north of the Billing Homestead. Directly north of the Nuka-Cola plant you will find the Billing homestead, and in the northern part of it near the grain storage you will find a barn. Check it out for the coveted mechanized suit;
- Camp Venture. You can find it in the southeastern part of the map. There should be power armor in the yard;
- Near the crashed rotorcraft in Watoga. In the southeast of the map, near the large tower in Watoga, you will find a crashed rotorcraft and signs of battle. Power armor awaits you on the ground right next to the crashed car;
- Drop Site V9. Far, far to the southeast, in a place called Drop Site V9, some users managed to discover power armor;
- Clarksberg. Clarksburg is located in Toxic Valley, just south of the water park. This is a small town full of aggressive robots. Apparently, they are the only ones who managed to survive the dispute between man and machine. You need to find a tall building, on one of the sides of which there is a fire escape that does not reach the ground. Walk around the building and you will see a barricade with the inscription “Man over Machine”, as well as steps leading up. Follow them to the right around the roof and you will get to the fire escape. Power armor on the next floor;
- Burning Mine. Some survivors were lucky enough to discover power armor near a shaft in the Burning Mine on the eastern side of the Slag Abyss.

Raider Power Armor
The simplest armor in the game. It is worn by the Raiders themselves, so when you are in their habitats, you can collect pieces of armor from their corpses. T-45 power armor
This is the first armor that you will come across in your adventures, but the set will not be complete. In terms of defense, it is much better than the Raider one. Where to find: Go east from Vault 111 to the Robotics Disposal Ground. Here you will find several batteries and a “Fat Man”, that is, a “tactical hand-held nuclear grenade launcher”.
Southeast of this location, on the way to Satellite Station US Air Force Olivia (USAF Satellite Station Olivia) among the wreckage will be the Power Armor itself.
Also, partial armor of the T-45 can be found underwater, at the site of the rotorcraft crash in Covenant Lake. Where to find: Head from Vault 111 southeast to Red Rocket (where the Dog companion is located). In the north of the lake there will be debris.
More parts of the T-45 armor (torso and helmet) can be found if you move southeast from the lake and reach the Irish Pride Industries shipyard. Another rotorcraft crashed here, and among its wreckage there will be pieces of armor.
T-51 power armor
If your Hero's level is between 10-15, then at almost any point instead of the T-51 you will only find the T-45. Unfortunately, Power Armor is somewhat tied to the level. It is better to start looking for the T-51 from level 15 to be sure you don’t get caught by the T-45.
The armor is good and you won't be able to find a better one until the middle of the game. The next most powerful will be the Brotherhood of Steel Armor.
This armor can be found south of Vault 111. Get to Fort Haganah in the east and find the green van at Fiddler's Green Trailer Estates. A lot of ghouls await you here.
Then hack the terminal, take the key from the safe and open the trailer. Power armor will be inside.

T-60 power armor

X-01 Power Armor

It is not recommended to start mining too early - it is not guaranteed that low-level armor (T-60/51/45) will not be found at these points. Focus on levels 28-30. The first option is located in the southwest of the map in the Abandoned Shack. Go inside and go down to the basement. About power armor
Power armor- the most powerful type of armor in Fallout 4. A character in power armor turns into a “mini-tank”, capable of fighting against an entire army alone.
In addition to increasing protective characteristics, power armor also provides unique capabilities - for example, the ability to safely fall from great heights.
Some facts:
- Just like other items, there are many modifications for power armor;
- You can enter buildings while wearing power armor;
- Power armor remains where you left it, you cannot “put” it in your inventory;
- To use power armor you need a special “charger”.
Proper power armor significantly reduces the damage dealt to you. However, unlike regular armor, elements of power armor can take damage, which reduces the overall level of protection.
Power armor, in whatever condition it's in, increases the damage of your melee attacks, increases your maximum load capacity, prevents fall damage, and, if you're also wearing a helmet, allows you to stay underwater longer.
To get out of the power armor, hold [E].

Power armor elements

Armor elements may be damaged. When you are wearing Power Armor, the status of the armor pieces is displayed on the suit icon on the left side of the screen. Elements painted red have received significant damage and must be replaced. If any section is empty, this means that the corresponding element is either missing or completely destroyed and must be replaced.
You can also find out the status of an armor item by selecting it in the “Clothing” section of the “Items” (Prev) tab or on the power armor workshop screen.
To attach or remove an element of armor from the frame, select it in the “Clothing” section on the “Items” tab.
You can also add or remove armor pieces by using the Power Armor Workshop, or by approaching your Power Armor and pressing [R] to bring up the item transfer menu.
Power Armor Repair
You can repair damaged armor pieces at any power armor workshop. If you have the required components, select the damaged item on the Items page and press [Space]. If you don't have necessary components, select an item and press [Space] to see what components are required.
Modifications for power armor

Power Armor Marker
