Using a skill

You can forge objects only in special places - forges. There are several types of tools available at the forge:

  • Grindstone (orig. Grindstone) : Allows you to sharpen weapons, thereby giving them more damage. The higher your Blacksmithing skill level, the more damage your weapon will deal.
  • Workbench (orig.Workbench) : Allows you to upgrade your armor. The higher your Smithing skill level, the stronger your armor will be.
  • Forge (orig.Forge) : Allows you to create new weapons and armor from raw materials. The range of what you can create is determined by your perks.
  • Anvil (orig.Anvil) : Same as blacksmith's forge.

It should be noted that the production of raw materials occurs with the help of other tools, the use of which is not included in the concept of Blacksmithing.

  • Tanning stand (original Tanning Rack) : Allows you to obtain leather and strips of leather from hides; skins can be removed from captured or found dead animals.
  • Smelter (orig.Smelter) : Allows you to cast ingots from ore or Dwemer debris; ore is mined in mines using a pickaxe; Dwemer debris can be found in Dwemer ruins. As a rule, a free pickaxe (weight - 10) can always be found directly in the mine, so it is not necessary to carry it with you (note: there are also outlets of mineral and ore veins in the Black Reach).

Having upgraded your blacksmith skill to 100% and received all the blacksmithing perks, you already receive quite powerful equipment at the forge.

However, the quality of weapons and armor can be improved even further by using potions and enchanted items.

Here are some tips on how to effectively organize this process:

  • To increase your blacksmith skill, you can enchant the following items:
  • Ring.
  • Necklace.
  • Gloves(mittens).
  • Cloth(armor).
  • The effects of increasing the blacksmith's skill from these items when equipped are cumulative (unlike potions, where one bottle or ten drunk does not play any role - the total effect will still be the same as from one bottle).
  • Of course, in order for the contribution of each equipped item to be as high as possible, it is necessary to develop the enchantment skill to 100% and obtain all the corresponding perks. There is no clothing that increases enchanting skill, but you can create a potion.
  • To create enchanting potions, you will need any two of the following ingredients:
  • Blue butterfly wing(Blue Butterfly Wing, 4th effect, FormID = 000727de)
  • Sorcerer's Claw(Hagraven Claw, 3rd effect, FormID = 0006b689)
  • snow berries(Snowberries, 2nd effect, FormID = 0001b3bd)
  • Spriggan sap(Spriggan Sap, 2nd effect, FormID = 00063b5f)
  • In order for the potion to be as “strong” as possible, the character must develop

Blacksmithing is an important skill in the game Skyrim, because most armor, such as dragon armor, is extremely difficult to obtain. The best option is to forge armor by reaching the required level of blacksmithing. This article will tell you in detail how to level up your blacksmithing to level 100 in Skyrim using cheap and fast methods.

Code for raising to level 100

There is a code that, by entering it, will raise your blacksmithing level to 100, but you will not be given points for mastering abilities. Code - Player.setav blacksmithing 100. It is not recommended to enter it, since the level will not allow you to gain abilities, which is why you will not be able to forge Dragon or other types of armor and weapons.

Code for 1,000,000 points

The best option is to enter the code to get a million points for blacksmithing. Code - Player.advskill blacksmithing 1,000,000. Having received this number of points, you will immediately reach the required level and have the opportunity to master all abilities.

Raise level 100 without code

You can get the required level naturally; you will need patience and large number resources. It is best to forge an iron dagger or leather boots. Buy as much iron and leather, preferably in several cities at once. After that, go to the forge and start forging one item many times.

At the same time, sell the forged item and buy additional resources. With each weapon you forge, you will receive blacksmithing points, after some time you will reach level 100. Of course, the work will require large expenses, approximately 15,000 coins, but this is the only legal way to master the skill.

Now you know in Skyrim how to level up your blacksmithing to level 100. The three presented methods are the only true and effective methods of pumping. It is advisable to carry out the last method in Whiterun, since merchants are very close, and resources can be bought in three places at once. Once you reach level 100, you will also be able to forge Daedric, glass, dragon and stalhrim armor and weapons.

Not all people who play TES V know how to quickly improve their blacksmithing in Skyrim. Indeed, unlike other skills, which for the most part are designed for participation in various battles, this branch can be upgraded quite simply, without even leaving the city. In this article we will look at the main ways to quickly upgrade your blacksmithing in Skyrim, using a minimum of resources.

Why does the blacksmithing branch swing?

First of all, many people upgrade the blacksmithing branch in order to provide themselves with the most effective equipment. It is worth noting the fact that while the player has practically no combat skills, using equipment for him is the most optimal option for completing various missions, and this is especially true for those people who play on high difficulty. It is worth noting that if you are not used to using it and are trying to achieve everything on your own, then in Skyrim the blacksmithing skill will allow you to quickly raise your character’s level in order to get the ability points you need to develop the main combat branches.

Fast and guaranteed

Many people value time, not themselves. gameplay. In order not to delay people who are looking for how to quickly level up blacksmithing in Skyrim, and for whom the speed of raising the level of this branch is important, the simplest and most quick method- use console commands. In this case, there are two main options for pumping branches:

1. Player.setav blacksmithing 100 - standard code for Skyrim. Blacksmithing simply rises in level, but at the same time it is not given the opportunity to level it up, that is, it does not give the actual skill points that we would receive when raising the level by leveling up.

2. Player.advskill blacksmithing 1,000,000 - a more optimal version of the code. If you are looking for how to quickly level up your blacksmithing in Skyrim and at the same time ensure maximum leveling efficiency, this code is for you best option. He invests 1,000,000 experience points in the blacksmithing branch, as a result of which the branch rises to maximum level, simultaneously raising the level of your character.

In addition, you can also find all kinds of cheats for Skyrim on the Internet. Blacksmithing can develop and expand with such cheats, but in most cases these are only additions to the new capabilities of the branch, and not its pumping.

Standard pumping option

There is also a “legal” opportunity to quickly level up blacksmithing in Skyrim. In this case, pumping will be carried out naturally, that is, in order to raise the level of our skill as a blacksmith, we will forge. As with any other branch, there is a simple way in Skyrim to increase blacksmithing - you just need to perform a certain action the maximum number of times. In this case, it doesn’t matter what exactly you do.

What are we doing?

Since we are interested in how to quickly level up blacksmithing in Skyrim, that is, it is precisely the number of actions performed, and not their type, it is necessary to forge something that requires a minimum amount of resources - we are talking about an iron dagger.

The branch swinging in this case is quite simple. Initially, you should accumulate a certain capital (to fully upgrade the branch you will need approximately 15,000, but the amount may vary depending on resource prices), and then start making fast travel around the cities in order to buy up absolutely all the ingots, leather and strips of leather from local merchants. If some cities are not yet open to you, you can use the services of a carriage, which for a nominal fee will take you to the gates of any castle. The thing is that each individual merchant will definitely not have enough resources for you (and what’s more, even all of them will not have enough resources for your capital), so you will have to make several circles. Most likely, enough time will have passed in the process of moving so that by the beginning of the next circle the assortment of the first merchant will be updated, but if this does not happen, you will need to wait a little.

It didn't work out. What to do next?

After you have acquired the resources for your entire capital, fly to the city, process the leather into strips of leather, and then begin crafting daggers in the quantity you need. When you make daggers, sell them in full to the first merchant (if he has enough money for your goods, of course). If at this moment the blacksmithing has not yet reached its limit, then in this case you again use the money you earned as resources and repeat the procedure. This way, you will eventually be able to quickly level up your skill to level 100 without any significant investment in time or money.

The methods presented here represent an option for maximum fast pumping this thread. In addition, you can simultaneously create other things, as well as craft equipment for your companions, which will also allow you to eventually level up the branch, but over a longer period of time and at greater cost.

This article will help you answer the question of how to upgrade your blacksmithing in Skyrim? It will allow you to create new armor and weapons. Leveling up will make it possible to create better and better items.

To increase this skill, you don’t need a cheat for blacksmithing at all, because you can create or improve weapons or armor, read educational books, or a profession teacher will help you here. To create new items you need components that can be found in the world. For example, iron or steel. Knowing how to create the desired item will also be useful. To be able to create a new type of weapon and armor, you should go to the constellation and invest a skill point in the desired skill.

Sharpening stones
They will help increase the damage dealt by weapons. However, to sharpen it, you will need appropriate resources. Also, the higher the skill level, the stronger the weapon can be sharpened.

Workbenches
Workbenches allow you to increase your armor class. To strengthen the uniforms, appropriate resources will also be required. The skill level also has a positive effect on the degree of armor improvement.

First steps
The cyber forum and the main storyline can help you understand the basics of the profession, as well as find the necessary equipment, shortly after completing the task “To Freedom!” In the city of Riverwood, talk to the blacksmith Alvor. He will give you a task in which he will ask you to help create and improve weapons and armor. He will also give you everything you need right on the spot. When leaving, it’s worth buying a pickaxe from him. It will also come in handy when mining ore.

Ore mining
During travel, mostly in dungeons, various “veins” are encountered. Having used such a vein, and having a pickaxe with me, the hero will get some ore, and maybe even a piece of jewelry. Now all that remains is to smelt the ore in the smelter. For example, a smelter can be found in Whiterun. As soon as you enter the city, turn right. In addition, you can buy ore from blacksmiths. It is also sold in “all sorts of things”, but in smaller quantities. Increase the Blacksmithing skill in Skyrim by 100%.

Blacksmithing is, if not the most, then one of the easiest skills to level up in the world. To fully upgrade, you will need only 10-20 thousand gold, depending on your eloquence skill. Having collected the required amount, go to the city of Whiterun. There are three blacksmiths there at once (by the way, they are quite similar, you can download that a blacksmith in Skyrim is a kind of perk, like many other perks in the game), who sell necessary resources:

  • Adrianna Avenicci
  • Ulfbert the Furious Bear
  • Jorlund Graymane

To level up, use the iron dagger recipe (other recipes are less effective). It only requires one strip of leather and one iron ingot. Iron ingots You can buy them either ready-made from blacksmiths, or get them from iron ore, which you can also buy from them, albeit not so much. The ore is then smelted into ingots in a smelter. To get strips of leather, you will need to tan the leather, which in turn is obtained from the skins of various animals, or you can buy them from the same blacksmiths. Guide: we go through all the blacksmiths, buy the necessary resources and create iron daggers, then sell them, wait two days. After forty-eight hours, we repeat all the steps described above. As a result, we increase the skill to one hundred.

This way you can level up your blacksmithing skill quite quickly, you can even do it in an hour, why would there be any code here? This guide to learning a skill in Skyrim ends with a gradation of improvements: After improving an item, a postscript is added to it. For example, “an excellent steel knife,” or “a good leather helmet.” This prefix depends on the skill level:

  • 0 to 19: Good
  • From 20 to 39: Quality
  • From 40 to 59: Excellent
  • From 60 to 79: Flawless
  • 80 to 99: Epic
  • From 100 and above: Legendary

At the forge you can create new weapons and armor. The higher your skill in blacksmithing, those best weapon and you can forge armor. This skill increases by creating or upgrading weapons and armor, taking lessons from a teacher, or reading educational books.

Crafting weapons and armor requires components found in the world, such as iron or steel, as well as knowledge of how to craft the appropriate item. To create new types of weapons and armor, choose new abilities in the blacksmithing constellation.

Sharpening stones

Increases damage done by weapons. To sharpen a weapon, you need the appropriate material. The level of improvement when sharpening depends on your skill in blacksmithing and special abilities.

Workbench

Increases armor class. To improve your armor you need consumables. The level of improvement depends on your blacksmithing skill and special abilities.

First steps in blacksmithing

You can find the necessary equipment and get acquainted with the basics of blacksmithing using the basic storyline, almost immediately after completing the task “To Freedom!” In Riverwood, talk to Alvor he will give you a task to create and improve weapons and armor, and all the necessary ingredients for this.

Also, don’t forget to buy a pickaxe from him - it will be useful for mining ore.

Ore mining

In your travels, mainly in various dungeons, you will come across various “veins”, for example, “Iron Ore Vein”, using this stone, if you have a pickaxe with you, your character, after working a little, will extract some ore, and possibly some kind of precious stone:

After which, the ore must be smelted in a smelter. One of them can be found in Whiterun, on the right immediately at the entrance to the city:

Also, ore is sold from blacksmiths, and, in smaller quantities, “in all sorts of things.”

Upgrade to 100

Blacksmithing is perhaps the easiest skill to level up to 100. All you need is 10,000-20,000 gold (as opposed to leveling up eloquence).

Having the required amount, we go to Whiterun. Why him? Because in Whiterun there are three blacksmiths from whom we can buy the materials we need, these are:

  • Adrianna Avenicci
  • Ulfbert the Furious Bear
  • Jorlund Graymane

We will upgrade using iron daggers; crafting requires only 1 iron ingot and 1 strip of leather.

Iron ingots can be either purchased from blacksmiths or smelted from iron ore (which, although in smaller quantities, is also sold from them), after which the ore must be smelted in a furnace into ingots (Whiterun has all the necessary equipment look for it).

Leather strips are made from leather, and leather from animal skins. Although leather and leather strips can also be purchased from merchants.

Plan: we run around all the blacksmiths, buy the necessary materials, make daggers from them -> sell the daggers -> scroll for 48 hours. After two days, the entire assortment of merchants is updated. We run around again, buy, craft, etc. up to level 100.

It swings quickly, you can easily finish it in an hour.

Additional prefix when improving

When improving any item, “(Good)” or “(Excellent)” is added to it. What does it depend on? On how much this item is improved.

The following tables tell you what upgrade bonuses give you what attachments and the level of blacksmithing (with and without a perk) at which you can get it. Equipping items that improve blacksmithing will lower the blacksmithing level requirement.

* For some reason, for reservation, the game will write “(Epic.)” with the same numbers. Apparently there is a translation bug.
