How to create weapons from boss souls in game Dark Souls 2?

28/08/2014

In Dark Souls 2, the souls of bosses serve as the basis for making the most powerful and rare weapons in the game. The player cannot forge weapons from souls on his own, because this is done by the blacksmith Giant from Anor Londo. Moreover, in the game Dark Souls, 2 souls are not the only component for creating this unique weapons, you need to get the base and have 5000 coins at your disposal.

After talking with the giant, you need to click on the “Change Equipment” tab, after which you need to select the development path (the icon that shows the demonic titanite) and start upgrading it to a weapon made from souls. It is worth noting that the quality of the resulting weapon does not depend on the selected base required to create a weapon, so you can use any type available in the category. Also souls bosses Dark Souls 2 will not be returned if the player wants to reset the weapon to its original characteristics. After the character has the most powerful weapon in the game, created from the souls of bosses, he will become many times stronger and gain access to new development opportunities.

Veterans Souls series this article will not say anything new, but still there are a couple useful tips. (attention! - spoilers!)

Translation of an article from the IGN portal.

There are things you shouldn't do in Dark Souls II. There is a price to pay for freedom of action. Every wrong action has consequences that will reverberate throughout the game.

The IGN portal team selected eighteen of the most painful errors:

1. Don't kill the Emerald Messenger.

You can kill almost any NPC in Dark Souls, including your allies. The Emerald Messenger in Majulu is one of your loyal supporters, and if you really want to, you can slaughter her. If you manage to kill her, you will find yourself in a rather difficult situation, since the Herald is your the only way Level up and upgrade your Estus Flask.

Of course, you can revive her by spending souls over her grave, but do yourself a favor and start playing again.

2. Don't kill old ladies at the beginning of the game

Although two of them drop a Stuffed Man, killing them blocks the ability to redistribute skill points.

In addition, killing old people in itself is bad.

3. Don't attack friendly NPCs.

Why? The reward is rarely worth it. If you accidentally hit an NPC, he will be hostile towards you until you visit Cromwell in Brightstone Cove.

4. Don't waste Stuffed Man.

The stuffed man is very difficult to find, especially at the beginning of the game. Use them only as a last resort. Better equip the Ring of Blinding instead. Or even better, the Ring of Life Protection and the Ring of Soul Protection to save yourself from losses after death.

At the beginning of the game, Scarecrows drop from dogs in the Forgotten Fortress, if you suddenly don't have enough)

5. Don't turn down the volume.

Some traps in Dark Souls make themselves known right before they occur. And the fact that you heard the trap a second before it showed itself can save your life.

6. Don't rush to kill Red Crystal Lizards

From time to time you will find Blue Crystal Lizards. If you act quickly, you can knock out useful items from them.

Their red cousins, however, are not so accommodating. When you attack, they will explode like bombs.

7. Do not use the Coal of Hostility if you are not confident in your abilities.

The coal of enmity is very useful thing- strengthening enemies in the area allows you to collect more souls, but this effect is irreversible and even goes into NG+.

8. Don't rush through doors.

Don't naively break into every door you just opened. Scary things may await you...

9. Don't join the Society of Champions.

Unless you're crazy or a Dark Souls pro, don't kneel before the Altar of Victors in Majula. Otherwise, all enemies will become stronger, they will deal more damage, and you will do less. It turns out that Dark Souls has a difficult mode)

If you have already entered there, talk to the Cat in Majula to exit the covenant.

10. Don't let the weapon break.

The little red stripe under your gear is very important. It shows how close your weapon is to breaking. Relaxing by the campfire restores all equipment for free, but if something breaks, you will have to pay for repairs.

Take care to replace your primary weapon in case it is close to breaking. Also, carry a weapon for battle in confined spaces. Hitting walls with a large weapon won't do much damage.

11. Do not carelessly return for lost souls.

You have only one chance to return the souls lost after death. There is nothing more offensive than dying stupidly on the way to returning your hard-earned souls. Stay away from the rocks, avoid traps, lure out enemies one by one, and expose yourself to danger as little as possible. Forget about exploring new corners, reconnaissance of the territory... there will still be time for this. Just bring back the Souls!

12. You are greeted by your clothes and escorted by your intelligence.

A Scorpio man is not necessarily your enemy. When you meet them for the first time, don't attack! You can gain a powerful ally if you talk to Thark in the Shadow Forest. You will need a whisper ring to understand it.

13. Do not attack Vendrick without the Souls of Giants.

King Vendrick's protection decreases the more Giant Souls you have. Don't attack until you've collected a few.

14. Do not bring light into the Undead Crypt.

Guardians don't just attack. They will attack if you bring light to the tombs.

15. Do not release Navlaan while you are hollow.

Navlaan is an NPC locked in a cage in the Aldia Citadel. If you release it while you are in human form, it can be quite useful. However, if you free him while hollow, he will attack you.

16. Don't fight Mita until you burn down the mill.

Don't even try to fight the Ruinous Queen Mita until you burn down the windmill.

17. Don't waste boss souls.

Souls obtained from bosses are a real treasure. You can of course use them to level up or buy equipment, but it's better to consider creating a unique weapon from them. There are two characters who can exchange boss souls for such weapons.

18. Don't break chests!

Don't open treasure chests with a sword! The impact destroys the treasure inside, turning it into trash.

They are optional, you can bypass them, skip them, and generally not pay any attention to them. However, if you collect boss souls and bring them to Temple of fire to the one and only Lord of Ash who still sits on his throne, you can receive one of the best weapons in the game, rings or even spells. At the same time, some will like heavy weapons, others will like a bow or spells. But every Hero will find something of their own.

Below we will look at all the options for items that can be obtained for the souls of bosses, but remember that you can only choose one thing in one game.

The material is large, therefore:

  • Part 1: Adept of the Crystal Enchantments, Guardians of the Abyss, Pontiff Sulivan, Aldrik the Devourer of Gods, Vordt of the Bleakvale
  • : Soul of Ash, Nameless King, Soul of the Twin Princes from Lothric and Lorian, Dragonslayer Armor, Soul of the Demon
  • : Cursed Great Tree, Lost Demon, Old Demon King, Giant Yorm, Cold Valley Dancer
  • : High Overlord Wolnir, Champion Gundir, Oceiros, the Consumed King, Deacons of the Deep

How to use boss souls

In order to be able to convert (exchange) souls for equipment you will need transposition oven, which becomes available after killing the boss Cursed Great Tree. After receiving it, take it to Fire Temple and give to Ludlet of Courland, after which you bring him souls and get weapons. But remember that you will need to pay and even more to reforge souls! You will have to choose what to create from one soul. The choice, as a rule, will be of two items, and it will not be possible to create another later.

However, there is always New game+ and then you can forge the second option.

In this article you will learn how to beat bosses such as the Old Dragonslayer, the Pursuer, the Forgotten Sinner, the Rat Guard Fighter, the Rotting One, the Scorpion Nazhka, the Rat Commander in the game Dark Souls II. Each of these monsters has a unique and non-repeatable appearance, as well as its own characteristics. Each boss has strong and weaknesses which can be found in this article. Please note that the walkthrough is based on the classic battle - sword and shield.

Old Dragonslayer

Destroying this boss is not that difficult, provided of course you have a good shield and sufficient stamina. If you move to the side near the boss, then all attacks will miss. Best option, this is a move with the shield up, as the Dragonslayer engages in fan strikes from time to time.

You need to hit him at the moment when his “combo strike” did not work. In addition, he will become stupefied when he makes a couple of stabbing blows, at which point you can inflict a couple of blows on him. But here it is important not to confuse ordinary blows with a combination of blows, because because of the same “punctures” you can get very badly hurt.

You should pay attention to the fact that if the enemy moves his hands away or starts to glow, then get ready for a super blow. Physical damage will be blocked, but magical damage will give you a lot of devils, so it’s better to dodge such attacks.

Pursuer

The Pursuer is not a very easy boss; his attacks against you will be extremely deadly, and he will be able to destroy blocks without much effort. But the method of combat will not differ much from the previous methods. It will be necessary to approach from the side, entering from the side, you reflect two blows, the third is unnecessary, since it will no longer hit them, so this will serve as a counterattack.

If this boss hits you with a piercing blow from a blue blade, then he will curse you and hook you, so then you can safely write “lost.” And thanks to this, he will only become stronger and will be able to use more and more new attacks, therefore, we strongly recommend jumping back.

Forgotten Sinner

It won't hurt here good equipment, this will be another step towards success. A tower shield is very useful with this boss; it will allow you to repel various side attacks of the enemy and make counterattacks in between.

If you move away from her, then get ready for the fact that she will hit you hard from a jump, so you can defeat her only at a close distance to her. The best way battle, the blow is yours, after her two, but keep in mind that she can carry out more, so you need to wait.

And if you confront this “beauty” together with an ally, then place a block and wait for your ally to hit her. But when the Sinner moves on to an ally, then wait until she performs her combination on your ally, and only then attack her.

Rat Guard Soldier

Once you pass the fog, then you will move in a circle and destroy the rats that live there, if you get into a cluster of them, then you are finished. You need to constantly move and lure out the rats one by one. On this battle platform, it is better not to target the enemy, since you will immediately deprive yourself of maneuvers and end up surrounded by them.

After you kill these creatures, a boss will appear, he will be noticeably different in his hairstyle on his head. As soon as he appears, you must rush towards him like a bullet and deliver a series of powerful blows, this should be enough to kill him.

Rotting

The attacks of this friend will have an extremely negative impact on the person they are directed at. Getting behind him and not getting hit is a very difficult task, so we take the help of a phantom.

Therefore, what you do is that you distract the boss as much as possible so that he forgets about the phantom. After this maneuver, we simply run in a circle from this monster, watching as your comrade kills the rotting flesh.

Scorpio Nazka

This is an intermediate monster, so dealing with it will not be difficult. Please note that the battle will begin when you attack the torso sticking out of the sand. When it comes out, deliberately provoke her into close combat, since you will have a hard time in ranged combat.

The task is to wait until this “miracle” hits the ground with its tails. After this, it will be possible to attack until “losing the pulse”. Sometimes it happens that the scorpion will go underground, but when it comes out, you will get some time to strike again.

Rat Commander

This cute little face has an incredibly large attack and is a very difficult boss, so you can’t make mistakes in battle, unfortunately, he doesn’t forgive them.

You need to kill his small servants as quickly as possible, and then run to him. The task is to run as quickly as possible to the back left paw of this mouse, but do not forget that you need to dodge his muzzle. Under no circumstances run under your feet, otherwise he will quickly jump away and attack you. Also don't use target lock, it's dangerous.

When he hits, but if you stand where it was indicated above, then you will not feel him at all and attack him once or twice. If he jumps back and is ready to jump, then you immediately run at his feet. You may not be able to dodge his attack, but at least you will have time to patch yourself up under the mass.

And keep in mind, the faster you hit him, the better it will be. A little later, he begins to create poisonous puddles, which is very dangerous.

This article presents detailed descriptions all twenty-nine bosses that play a fundamental role in Dark Souls II. Each of them has a unique appearance and characteristics, and also has its own strengths and weaknesses, which you will have to learn in the process of difficult and sometimes incredibly grueling battles in the name of victory. The recommendations in the article are presented mainly for players who have chosen the classic style of close combat with a weapon and a shield.

The Last Giant

"The Last Giant"
Health: 2530
Souls:
10000
Things: Soldier's Key, Soul of the Last Giant

The Last Giant is the first boss you will encounter as you progress through the game. You will find it when you go down the stairs after the Main Tower bonfire and go through the door to the right of it. The elevator will lower you into a small cave, the fog in which will carefully guide you to the giant himself.

The most safe place, which you can find in the fight with the giant, is located directly below it. Run under the giant and you will be out of range of his attacks. Like many other "big bosses", the giant will try to step on you from time to time. He hits three times in a row, switching legs. By dodging his attacks, you can meanwhile “saw” his other leg. After a certain period of time, the giant will get bored with this and will jump to the side.

If you find yourself within a semicircle from the giant, he will try to brush you off with his hand, and after losing half his health, he will finally “blow the roof off” and tear off his left arm, which he will use to deliver vertical blows. Also, the giant will sometimes freeze in place and fall, trying to crush the player with the weight of his body.

To make your task much easier, you can call for help from a phantom who is located in front of the fog leading to the giant.

Dragon Rider

"Dragon Rider"
Health: 3170
Souls: 12000
Things: Soul of the Dragon Rider

Having served King Vendrick faithfully, the Dragon Riders once upon a time managed to ride dragons, instilling unique fear in their enemies on the battlefield.

The dragon rider wields a huge halberd, swinging it in a semicircle in front of him, lunging forward, and also delivering slashing blows. In addition, the Dragon Rider can also “move” you with his human-sized shield.

You can try to kill the Dragon Rider by shooting him with a bow from the bridge. Before you face him, it is better to deal with all the enemies that you may encounter along the way.

One of the simplest tactics for dealing with the horseman is to lure the boss to a cliff and force him to lunge. To do this, before the battle with him, do not raise the platforms, enter the arena and carefully move to the right edge of the bridge, without entering the circle of the arena. After this, wait for the rider to approach and lunge with the halberd and roll to the right side, leaving the rider to his own devices.

If you still decide to defeat the Dragon Rider in a more fair battle, then run next to his shield while holding the block. In this case, it is unlikely to hurt you.

Flexible hourly

"Flexible sentry"
Health: 3150
Souls: 14000
Things: Soul of the Flexible Sentinel

You will meet the flexible sentry in the hold of the ship on the Deserted Pier. It looks very frightening: from the lower back of this creature two armed torsos with arms and a head grow at once; that is why he is called the Flexible Sentinel.

A shield with maximum protection from physical damage, for example, Drangleic's shield.

Before the battle, you can also call for help from the phantom Lucatiel of Mirra, whose summoning sign is located right at the entrance to the stone structure next to the platform on which the archers stand. While the Flexible Sentinel is dealing with the phantom, you can run up, deliver a couple of blows and jump back before the boss attacks you with his “back” part. If you do get hit, protect yourself with a shield.

The most convenient half of the Flexible Sentinel for combat is the one with clubs: it is slower. Hit her at the moment when the Sentinel is “resting” after being hit with both clubs.

After the monster loses 50% of its health and over time, water will begin to flow into the hold, which will somewhat complicate the ability to maneuver, so try to finish the fight as quickly as possible.

If you don’t like the tactics of contact combat, then you can hide behind a column so that the Flexible Sentry rests against it, and shoot him with a bow or using spells.

Ruin Guardians

The main problem with these Ruin Guardians is that there are not one or two of them, but a trio. However, you will also find yourself a friend, whom you can summon in one of the cells; To do this, you need to get closer to the human symbol inscribed on the floor.

Before the battle, it is recommended to “sharpen” your combat weapons to the maximum, since you need to have time to kill one boss while the other is beating up your companion. If you don't make it in time, you'll get a free return ticket.

Without going down from the balcony, take on the first boss, going behind him and blocking attacks with a shield. When you deal with him, two more of the same will appear. If you hesitate on the balcony, they will jump on it and quickly deal with you, so go down with your ally. Now everything depends on him: if he distracts the attention of one of the bosses, deal with the other with the standard tactic of going behind his back, and then take on the remaining one.

Old Dragonslayer

"The Old Dragonslayer"
Health: 2700
Souls: 15000
Things: Soul of the Old Dragonslayer, Ring of the Old Leo, 5000 souls for a phantom ally

Destroying this boss is not that difficult if you have a good shield and a decent amount of stamina. If you move to the side near the boss, then all attacks will miss the target. It is better to move with your shield up, since the Dragon Slayer will periodically make fan attacks.

You should hit him at the moment when he missed with his “combo”. In addition, the Old Dragonslayer freezes after stabbing, during which time you can hit him. But if you confuse a regular thrust with a combination of attacks, you risk getting seriously hurt.

It is also recommended to pay attention to the fact that if the Old Dragonslayer moves his arms back or glows, then a super blow is being prepared. If physical damage is blocked by a shield, then it will not save you from magical damage, so it is best to dodge.

Pursuer

"Pursuer"
Health: 3110
Souls: 17000
Things: Soul of the Pursuer

The Pursuer is by no means a simple boss: his attacks are deadly, and he will break your blocks without any problems. However, the method of fighting him is not much different from the method of destroying all previous bosses. You need to get into the side of the Pursuer, repelling two blows. The third time he misses, opening up the opportunity for you to retaliate.

If the Persecutor hits you with a piercing blow from his blue sword, pries you and curses you, then all is lost. He himself will only become stronger and will use new attacks, so it is recommended to jump back.

Forgotten Sinner

"The Forgotten Sinner"
Health: 3900
Souls: 49500
Things: Soul of the Forgotten Sinner

The key to success is good equipment. The tower shield will allow you to repel all enemy side attacks and carry out your own in between them.

If you try to move as far away from the Sinner as possible, she will knock you out of the jump, so you can defeat her by clinging closer to her and making circles counterclockwise. Strike immediately after she throws two, or several at once if she does a combination of strikes with a finishing vertical strike.

If you are facing the Forgotten Sinner with an ally, block and wait for the ally to hit the boss. After the Sinner switches to an ally, wait for a combination of several hits and start attacking yourself.

Rat Guard Soldier

"Fighter of the Rat Guard"
Health: 1410
Souls: 11000
Things: Soul of the Rat Guard Fighter, Rat Tail

As soon as you cross the fog, start moving in a circle and destroy the rats there one by one, avoiding getting into their cluster: they will eat you and not notice. You need to constantly move and choose targets that have strayed from the herd. In this arena, it is better to kill opponents without targeting them, since you will complicate your ability to maneuver and may end up surrounded.

After killing a dozen rats in the arena, a boss will appear at your entrance to the location, which compares favorably with its fellows by the presence of a certain mohawk on its head. As soon as this happens (you can catch this moment using the health bar that flashes for a moment at the bottom), roll to this point and cover yourself with a shield to restore stamina, and then inflict a series of powerful blows on the Rat Guard Fighter - they should be enough.

Rotting

"Rotting"
Health: ~7000
Souls: 35250
Things: Soul of the Rotten

The attacks of this comrade have a very painful effect on the health of the one in whose direction they are directed. Getting around him behind his back and avoiding damage is very problematic, so you can use the help of a phantom.

To do this, you need to completely draw the boss's attention to yourself and take him away from the phantom. After this, all you have to do is run from the monster in the inner circle, looking back and waiting for your ally to shoot the Rotting One in the back.

Scorpio Nazka

"Scorpio Nazhka"
Health: 5741
Souls: 17250
Things: Soul of Scorpio Najka, Southern ritual bracelet

This boss is intermediate and not that difficult to deal with. The battle begins the moment you attack the female torso sticking out from under the sand. When the scorpion crawls out, provoke it into close combat, since Nazhka throws magic in ranged combat.

Your task is to wait until it hits the ground with both tails. Afterwards you will have enough time to have a blast with it. Periodically, the scorpion burrows into the ground, and when it comes out, you get some free time to attack.

Rat Commander

"Rat Commander"
Health: 4310
Souls: 14000
Things: Soul of the Rat Commander, Rat Tail

The Rat Commander has a brutally strong attack and is a fairly difficult boss, so in a fight with him you need to do everything correctly and make as few mistakes as possible.

Quickly deal with the small monsters and run to the boss. Your task is to reach the Rat Commander's back left leg while dodging his face. You should not run under your feet, because in this case the Commander will quickly jump back and attack. Also, you should not use “targeting” (target capture).

When the rat makes one blow (which you, standing at the back left leg, will not notice), attack once/twice. In the event that the Rat Commander jumps back and prepares to jump, run under his feet. Even if you do not have time to block his attack, you will have time to heal under his body within a few seconds.

The faster you deal with the Rat Commander, the better: after a while he will begin to spill puddles of vomit.

Necromancer and zombie

Necromancer and Zombie is a fairly simple boss. First, attack the main ghoul, trying to deal with him in one go. After that, begin to move the zombie aside, simultaneously dodging the shots of his two “friends,” and when you pull him away, return back to the shooters and destroy them. It is better to leave the zombies for later, since the necromancer boss will heal them anyway.

Freya - the Duke's lover

"Freya - the Duke's Beloved"
Health: 4040
Souls: 42000
Things: The soul of Freya - the Duke's beloved

Mistress Freya, despite her magnificent nickname, is a very frightening sight. This is a giant spider with two heads in diametrically opposite parts of the body, which will be ready to challenge your right to exist. While you are fighting with her, small spiders will occasionally crawl into the arena, which will complicate your maneuvers, so it is better to get rid of them immediately.

When fighting Freya, try to concentrate all the damage exclusively on her heads. A tactic that will help you destroy the spider is to alternately deliver powerful blows to each of the two heads. Don't forget to jump to the side or block immediately after striking.

Also try not to move too far away from the spider, otherwise you risk running into a “death ray”.

Gargoyles from the tower

"Gargoyles from the Tower"
Health: 1200*5
Souls: 25000
Things: Soul of Gargoyles from the tower, golden ring stingy snake

Once you are on the roof, cover yourself with a shield and move towards the first gargoyle. Attack immediately after the gargoyle attacks you. If you don’t have time to deal with it, then a second one will fly up and your life will immediately become harder. However, gargoyles do not deal as much damage as other bosses, so you can easily miss one or two hits in your direction.

To get out of this unpleasant situation, cover yourself with a shield and wait for the moment when they simultaneously attack you. In this case, you will have time to jump back and finish off the first gargoyle. When the second gargoyle is left alone, provoke it to attack, and then finish it off. It's best to make her attack "on the fly", in which case you will have more time after she lands.

Executioner's Chariot

"Dragon Rider"
Health: 4140
Souls: 19000
Things: Soul of a Chariot Rider

The boss is quite simple, however, you still need to get to it. When you cross the bridge, deal with the spirit and go further through the door, keep a course to the left, sticking to the recesses in the wall, otherwise you will be run over and not even noticed.

Your goal is to get to the lever that will lower the gate, a collision with which will be fatal for the rider; but his two-headed “Shadowheart” will survive.

While you are doing this, various kinds of undead will interfere with you. If on the way to the lever you miss two necromancers, then you will continue to observe all the arriving skeletons. When several mobs attack you at once, go into the recess, cover yourself with a shield and wait until they are hit by the chariot. When you have dealt with the undead and lowered the grate, the matter will be left to the horse.

It is best to attack the horse at the moment when it attacks with the magic of darkness and its heads are emitting steam: go to the side and hit. It’s better not to fight him head-on; he attacks very painfully.

Skeleton Lord

"Skeleton Lord"
Souls: 16500
Things: Soul of the Skeleton Lord

A fairly simple boss. Before this fight, it is recommended to wear something to protect yourself from fire.

The main goal in this battle is two necromancers, who need to be attacked as quickly as possible. The skeletons that have begun to rise are quite slow and, in a good situation, will not have time to save their owners.

After destroying the necromancers, four skeleton wheels will appear (migrated here from the first part of Dark Souls). The first two need to be killed before they roll, and the remaining two will not be so difficult to deal with.

Greedy Demon

"Greedy Demon"
Health: 4440
Souls: 13000
Things: Soul of the Dragon Rider

The greedy demon is a huge nasty slug, a kind of silent Jabba clone from the Star Wars universe.

He is quite clumsy and you can fight him by attacking directly in his face. However, if the Greedy Demon grabs you and chews you up, you will be left without your things. You can also try attacking him from behind, but keep in mind that he will make three strikes in a row with his not-so-light tail. If you attack the demon from the side, then there is a high probability that he will roll over and crush you.

Queen Mita

"Queen Mita"
Health: 3650
Souls: 20000
Things: Soul of Queen Mita

Queen Mita is a monster with the body of a huge snake. In one hand she holds a long and powerful spear, and in the other her own head. The battle with Mita takes place in an arena filled with poison. By the way, the poison can be drained by incinerating the mill wheel.

The boss attacks with both single and double attacks, interspersed with magic attacks if you deal too much damage to him. It is not recommended to approach from the back; Mita can attack backwards, so the best tactic would be to deliver a large number of side blows.

Smelter Demon

"Demon of the Smelter"
Health: 5970
Souls: 32000
Things: Soul of the Demon from the Smelter

Outwardly, he is the canonical embodiment of universal evil. A difficult boss, which is best taken on with an ally. The demon inflicts one to three blows, after which it freezes for a short time. Traditionally, it is better for you to hit precisely at such moments.

If the Smelter Demon flies into the air, then you need to move away and keep your distance until the blast wave appears.

After you deprive the boss of a third of his life, he will burst into flames and deal fire damage at close range. And when the Demon has a third of his life left, he will pierce himself with a sword and it will also become fiery. From this moment on, you cannot block attacks, since fire damage will pass through you. You need to wait until the boss delivers two powerful blows and then attack yourself.

Old Iron King

"Old Iron King"
Health: 6070
Souls: 48000
Things: Soul of the Old Iron King

Another creepy creature that you will need to cope with. However, this boss should not cause any more serious problems than the previous one. All you need to do is provoke him into attacks that are advantageous to you: everything except the overhead strike can be blocked.

The old king is quite slow. If you successfully jump away from one of his attacks, you can hit him about five times. In a few of these approaches you will deal with him. The main thing is not to get too close to the cliff, otherwise you risk being thrown into the abyss with one powerful push.

Two Dragon Riders

This is everything you fought with at the very beginning of the game, only this time there are two of them. The dragon riders enter the battle one at a time, so you will need to deal with one of them as quickly as possible, otherwise you will have to fight two at once.

Mirror Knight

"Mirror Knight"
Health: 6540
Souls: 25500
Things: Soul of the Mirror Knight

The Mirror Knight attacks with circular strikes, occasionally spewing bolts of lightning in your direction and charging the sword with magic. His most dangerous move, his jump attack, will drain you of all your stamina if you block and almost all of your health if you mess up. And if you want to measure your strength with him in an exchange of frontal blows, then it’s unlikely that anything good will come of it, since the Knight attacks with combinations of several powerful blows that will penetrate even a well-protected player.

Walk behind the Mirror Knight and attack. When you remove half of his health, a phantom will materialize from his shield. Leave it to your ally and deal with the boss yourself. If your ally deals with the phantom, then there should be no more problems with the Mirror Knight.

Demon of Song

"Demon of Song"
Health: 5000
Souls: 19500
Things: Soul of the Song Demon, Quest from Drangleic Castle

The path you will travel to reach the Demon of Song is more dangerous than the demon itself. Therefore, it will be more convenient for you if you deal with the boss the first time.

You need to attack this comrade exclusively at his head and hands, which he sticks out while attacking you. Take the correct position, namely a few steps from his head on the right side, but do not run completely to the side. Wait for him to attack with his hands and jump away, then wait for him to rise up and stand on his hind legs to deliver a powerful blow. Move back a little and, as soon as the Song Demon makes a powerful attack, rush into battle and deliver several powerful blows. After this, the boss will hide back, and you just have to repeat this operation several times.

If you move too far away from the Song Demon, it will rush at you with acceleration and begin to shower you with magic - all this will have a detrimental effect on your health.

Weltstadt

"Weltstadt"
Health: ???
Souls: 50000
Things: Soul of Weltstadt, Ring of the Royal Soldier

Velstadt is a huge, powerful enemy that deals significant damage in close combat. You can block his single or double strikes, but with a triple strike he will break through your entire defense. If you stand directly in front of him, you can get a knockback kick.

Wellstadt doesn't attack as actively at first, so you'll have room to perform a variety of combo attacks. But after he gets down on one knee and the gong sounds, the “heat” will begin: Wellstadt will attack much more quickly and “more painfully”. If you run a long distance, you will get hit in the face with a powerful magical attack.

When Velstadt has less than a third of his health left, he will use feint attacks, disguising fan attacks as vertical ones. If you don't remember how he does them, then if you miss one of his attacks, you can lose the entire battle. In addition, Wellstadt will also be able to attack while moving backwards, so going behind his back will no longer be possible. Just stick to the right side while landing single hits.

Dragon Guard

"Dragon Guard"
Health: ???
Souls: 37000
Things: Soul of the Dragonguard

The fight with the Dragon Guardian should not cause many problems: run under its belly and strike at its legs (it is advisable not to use “target lock”, it will only cause inconvenience).

Beating him in this mode for a long time will not work: the dragon will stamp his foot or fly up. In the first case, simply change your leg, and in the second, be prepared to run away from a barrage of fire, calculating in advance where the dragon will land for a new attack.

Ancient dragon

"Ancient Dragon"
Health: ~12000
Souls: 12000
Things: Ancient Dragon Soul, Petrified Dragon Bone

The fiery attacks of the Ancient Dragon kill outright. To avoid getting hit by them, don't throw too many punches at once. Three will be enough, after that run to the edge of the platform, wait out the fiery breath of the boss and come back.

It is worth noting that without a stamina ring it will be very difficult to maneuver, so worry about replenishing your stamina in advance.

Lord of the Giants

"Lord of the Giants"
Health: 12480
Souls: 75000
Things: Soul of the Giant Lord, Giant's Totem, Giant's Ring

Before the fight with the Giant Lord begins, you will have to walk along the wall. Before you go further, you should wait for some time until the monsters destroy each other or die under artillery fire. Climb onto the ledges on the left side and wait again for a while until the head from the statue does its dirty deed. Then wait for the shells to fly by and move on, trying not to get hit by salvo fire.

The Lord of the Giants is very similar in battle mechanics to the very first boss, but attacks with a very sharp sword instead of hands. There won't be much space for the fight, but the boss won't jump much, so it should be enough. Attack the Giant Lord's legs while dodging the stomp: this is the only attack you won't be able to block.

"Defender of the Throne and Caretaker of the Throne"
Health: ???
Souls: ???
Things: Souls of the Throne Defender and Throne Caretaker

Killing both of these bosses at once is not so easy. Right before the fog, it is recommended to call an ally, and then quickly destroy the carrion, since they do not have much health. If you delay, one boss will be able to resurrect the other. After destroying these bosses, the next one will appear - Nashandra.

Nashadra

"Nashandra"
Health: ???
Souls: ???
Things: Soul of Nashandra

As you might have guessed, the final boss easy it can't be. Nashandra's attacks are unexpected and deadly: she attacks with scythe, darkness, and curse (curse damage cannot be blocked).

It is highly recommended to equip yourself with the Ring of Blinding, which could be found at the very beginning of the game. It will prevent your health from dropping below 75%, otherwise you will be forced to fight the boss with only 50%.

Attack Nashandra while she is busy casting spells, then run around the perimeter and break all the "clouds". Nashandra deals enormous damage in close combat, but some of her attacks are easy to dodge. To get her to do these particular attacks, get as close to her as possible, and then move back a little while she swings. It is quite possible that this blow will be followed by another one, so do not rush into battle again. Attack Nashandra after she performs a series of attacks in a row. Shoot down the “clouds” as soon as she conjures them, and repeat the above operation in close combat. In this case, your victory is guaranteed.
