Xbox 360 banned what to do. Ban

Many of our clients have a question: “Will I be banned if I flash my console?” It depends on how exactly you decide to modify your console.

You will definitely be banned for this!

Only one modification gives a 100% guarantee of a ban in Live - this. Moreover, you may not even be able to access Live on a console with a freeboot - the console may request an update to the official firmware, but under no circumstances should you do this!

So, if you chose freeboot, you will have to forget about Xbox Live. True, you can play online on unofficial servers. And, unlike Microsoft's service, you don't have to pay for a Gold subscription to do this. Freeboot makes all the Xbox features free!

If you still need Xbox Live

If without network games the prefix does not make sense for you, and you have no desire to delve into the freeboot settings, choose others Xbox versions:

  1. Xbox 360 without firmware. The most reliable option. If you have a clean console with official firmware, you have nothing to fear from being banned if you honestly pay for licensed discs and Xbox Live services. True, there have been cases when Microsoft banned people by mistake, but no one is immune from this.
  2. . Over the past 2 years, cases of bans on firmware consoles are so rare that they are the exception rather than the rule. The same goes for . But to avoid a ban, you must follow simple rules:

If you follow these simple precautions, you will greatly minimize the likelihood of getting banned. But no one will give you 100% - as already mentioned, there have been cases of banning unflashed consoles on which only licensed games were played.

It is worth noting that over the past 2 years, cases of console bans have been rare, so today people on fixed consoles go to Xbox Live without fear.

Xbox Live is designed to be a place where all users can interact and have a good time online. To help ensure a safe experience for our users, we monitor users for behavior that violates the Microsoft Services Agreement and Code of Conduct. Depending on the nature and severity, violations of the Rules of Conduct may lead to the application of various measures. This page describes several types of enforcement restrictions and how they affect accounts.

Please note the following general rules regarding Xbox Live blocking.

  • The block usually ends at approximately the same time of day at which it began, rather than at the beginning of the calendar day. For example, a 24-hour lock applied at 3:00 pm will end at approximately 3:00 pm the next day, rather than at midnight.
  • Microsoft is not required to provide warnings prior to bans or other enforced restrictions. By agreeing to the Microsoft Services Code of Conduct, you acknowledge that you understand and accept the rules for using the Xbox Live service.
  • The ban period depends on the severity of the violation. Particularly egregious violations may result in an immediate, permanent ban.

Communication blocking

Communication bans are applied for inappropriate behavior when communicating on Xbox Live. This blocking disables all communication features on Xbox Live, including text messaging, voice messaging, video calling, and Skype use. Xbox One, game and team chats. Communication is blocked for a certain period of time, often 1, 7 or 14 days.

If you are disabled, you can still access Xbox Live with your account, including multiplayer play. Once the blocking is complete, all communication functions will be restored automatically.

Account suspension

If your account is suspended, you won't be able to sign in to Xbox Live for the duration of the ban. The account is locked for a certain period of time, often 1, 7 or 14 days. However, egregious or repeated violations may result in a permanent ban.

Your account may be suspended for various violations of the Code of Conduct for Microsoft Services. These include, but are not limited to:

  • offensive or inappropriate Xbox Live profile content;
  • inappropriate gaming behavior or cheating;
  • attempts to manipulate the Xbox Live service through network interference, feedback fraud, complaint abuse, or other system interference;
  • insulting other Xbox Live users or attempting to impersonate Microsoft employees or partners;
  • attempting to use the Xbox Live Marketplace or Xbox Support for financial gain;
  • Account theft, phishing, or other attempts to defraud Microsoft or other players.

Force Gamertag Changes

At forced change If you assign a Gamertag to your account, a new Gamertag is automatically assigned in much the same way that you assign a system-generated Gamertag when you subscribe to Xbox Live.

If a player is unhappy with their assigned Gamertag and wishes to change it, they can purchase a new Tag by following the standard Gamertag Change procedure. However, the forced gamertag will remain unavailable.

A gamertag may be forced to change if it looks or sounds similar, suggestive, is an abbreviation, or otherwise resembles any of the following.

  • obscene language and obscene expressions;
  • sexually explicit themes or content;
  • aggressive statements;
  • discussions on controversial religious issues;
  • discussion of persons or organizations of disrepute;
  • discussion of contemporary and historical events of a sensitive nature;

Locking Privileges

On Xbox One and Xbox for Windows, privileges are used to determine what you can and can't do on each account on Xbox Live. Privileges may be suspended if an account is associated with abuse of a specific Xbox Live feature or Code of Conduct violations, but this does not necessarily result in a permanent account suspension. Locking choice privileges allows you to isolate inappropriate content or prevent inappropriate player behavior without locking out all account capabilities on Xbox.

Here are some privileges that may be blocked due to violation of the Rules of Conduct.

  • Record game clips and screenshots
  • Sharing content on Kinect
  • Participation in multiplayer games
  • joining teams;
  • communication with other players;
  • Share profile content

For example, if a player takes a screenshot of offensive content, their privileges may be blocked. He will temporarily lose the ability to record content, but will be able to continue to play multiplayer games and use other Xbox features Live.

The duration of the blocking of privileges depends on the severity and nature of the specific violation.

faq about the banned console

What does this mean to you, and what should you do about it?
Firstly, the most important thing is the inability to access the Xbox Live service from this console. This means for you: no more game updates (aka title updates), XBLA games (live games), marketplace content, netflix/sky player, etc. And there’s nothing you can do about it, all network capabilities of your console are blocked FOREVER.

Most likely, your gamertag WAS NOT BANNED. When your gamertag is banned, Microsoft will send you an email explaining why you were banned (ban details). If you didn't receive a notification, then everything should be fine with your profile, except for a few things.

Installing the game on the hard drive in a banned console is BLOCKED.
This means that playing any game from the hard drive will not be possible. If you try to play an installed game, the console will display a message stating that the game was installed on another console and you need to uninstall and reinstall it, and when you try to reinstall the game, the console will display a message stating that this function is not supported. So far there is no way to fix this problem; this function simply disappears from the banned console.

The hard drive itself is not affected - you can move it to another console that is not yet banned, and it will work fine. You DO NOT need to reformat it to restore functionality. All installed games you will need to reinstall it on the console you will be playing on. This is a completely normal situation when replacing hard drives in a console.

Windows Media Center functionality is blocked.
BUT it is possible to stream video/audio through the media library.

Your Gamertag may be damaged.
This does not mean that your gamertag is banned, you can restore it in an unbanned XBOX 360, however, ANY WHICH YOU RECEIVED AFTER THE BAN WILL BE LOST!! Your gamertag data will be corrupted EVERY time you use it on a banned console. This means that you will not be able to play offline to get achievements - this will not work, secondly, when you return your profile to an unbanned XBOX 360, this will damage the profile and the entire game process will be lost. There's nothing you can do about it.

Some caveats about saves- if you use a save on a banned XBOX 360, this will also affect your profile on an unbanned/licensed console! BE CAREFUL! Nothing can be done about this either.

Your XBLA (Live Arcade) games and DLC (downloadable content) will work, but you will need to be signed into Xbox Live to play them on different consoles. This is a normal situation on unbanned/licensed consoles. They may be damaged and may also be downloaded again if you try to run them on a banned console. You can transfer the content you downloaded here: http://www.xbox.com/en-US/support/sy...on/default.htm, but remember that you can only do this once every 12 months.

So, in general:
What does a ban promise for your console:
* Inability to access Xbox Live
* Inability to install games on HDD
* Inability to use Windows Media Center extender
* Impossibility of receiving achievements from a backup of a damaged profile

There's nothing you can do about it except buy it. new console .

There may be OTHER possibilities for blocking the functionality of your console other than those described here, but they have not yet been discovered.

1.How can I check if I am banned without logging into live?
-No way, at the moment the only way- this again means going live and playing roulette.

2.Why are they banned? Crooked sectors? Game before release? Firmware?
-Previously, bans were given only for crooked sectors and games before releases; in the fall season, they learned to ban M$ for reflashed consoles.
As evidence, there are already many posts from users on the net, and I also cite a post from the stage:

Conclusion:
Think what you want, because ME I DONT HAVE more +++++++Doubt MS CAN DETECT FIRMWARE.
For those who don't understand:
The guy bought 2 new consoles, both light-on, and flashed 1.6 iExtrime.
On the 1st I played only kettlebell 2, tested by abgx 100%.
The second one was simply connected to live and did not insert a SINGLE disc, it lasted about a week (it was online live all the time) and was banned.
Conclusion: M$ is now detected by updated consoles.

Ban Xbox One and everything that relates to it

Let's move on to the main topic of this article - blocking Live accounts.

First and foremost important rule– do not buy accounts from unverified persons. There are several popular resources, many of which are completely unrelated to gaming and console topics, such as message boards and multifaceted forums. There you can meet unscrupulous people selling stolen profiles with games.

Often prices for “hijacked” accounts are ultra-low, which is very attractive to inexperienced people. However, the risks they are exposed to are very high.

The fact is that a stranger’s profile, which you can buy, is restored in just a couple of clicks. The result is that you are left without money, without games and without the ability to play online from any profile. The worst thing is that these restrictions can be lifelong, that is, the console will lose a huge part of its attractive features.

In addition, such accounts can be linked bank cards other people, also stolen. You may be subject to criminal liability for this if suspicion of theft falls on you.

To find out if your Xbox One is banned, simply log into Xbox Live. If you succeed, there is no ban.

It's another matter if you buy games by chipping in. If you study this topic in detail and find a trusted resource where all users are reviewed by moderators, the risk of being banned is minimal, but it still exists if you use the “scheme” incorrectly.

Less severe penalties may be applied to those who abuses obscene language in multiplayer chat. If other players complain about you, your profile may be blocked.

If you banned your Xbox One due to complaints, then most likely the ban will be lifted after a certain period of time. The more often this happens, the longer you will not be able to log into Live, and therefore not play online.

Unlocking Xbox One

If you received ban for accounts on Xbox One, it is unlikely that it will be possible to remove the restriction. The same applies to the use of stolen credit cards.

Resale of accounts is prohibited terms of the license agreement, which we are usually accustomed to skimming. The theft of accounts or any other personal information is generally punishable by law. Of course, no one will pronounce an acquittal.

If you really know that you were banned by mistake, write to support service and provide them with as much information as possible relevant to the subject of the letter.

All in all, Can you unban your Xbox One?, but to do this, you will have to bring a lot of really worthwhile arguments that completely prove that you are right.

By the way, if when you log into Live you see the following message on your Xbox One: "Error 1170000" or something similar, do not rush to write to support. Sometimes all these warnings are not related to the imposition of restrictions. Try it reboot the console and internet router, and also look for information on troubleshooting similar problems.
