You need to complete the Sims FreePlay game by completing game tasks that will bring additional profit and also tell you what to do next.

There are three types of tasks:

  1. Single tasks performed in your city. To complete them, you need to perform one action. For completing such tasks, you will be rewarded with Simoleons, experience or lifestyle points ( SJ). Since version 5.0.0, for completing a certain number of such tasks per week you will receive keys to prize boxes.
  2. Groups of tasks performed in your city, for example: “Path to Glory”, “Mysterious Island”, “Coming of Age”, “Higher Education”, “Great Ghost Escape”. Such tasks consist of several single tasks. After completing a group of tasks, you will have the opportunity to build a new building (a bridge to a mysterious island, a high school), raise a schoolboy into a teenager or another special award.

Do you need tips on how to complete other tasks in The Sims Free Play? Ask! We will answer!

As mentioned many times in previous articles, The Sims Freeplay is a mobile game created by EA for Android and iOS devices. And, despite the fact that the game was updated some time ago, we thought it would be a good idea to refresh your knowledge with some new tips for completing one of the most popular games in the whole world. But what should you expect from the mobile version of this “popular simulation game”? First of all, this is a kind of “distilled” version of the Sims game for other platforms, here you can also create your own Sims, build houses, let them interact with each other like people in the real world. They can wear different outfits, live in houses, take care of pets, and grow from infancy to old age, just like they do in the real world.

In this guide to completing tasks, we decided to focus on the last aspect of The Sims Freeplay - how Sims grow up from infancy and become elderly people. What do they do, what should you expect, and what should you do at each stage of their Sims life?

There are a few things you need to have in order for two Sims to have children. First of all, there must be a crib in your house, and two Sims must be married in order to have children. Yes, The Sims Freeplay takes away the old school principle in this regard, but from a game mechanics point of view, it makes sense.

When caring for babies, you must teach them to crawl and then walk. You can also teach them some life skills like music by teaching them how to play the xylophone. To summarize, it should be noted that infants should be under the strict supervision of adults at all times.

2. Kids

In The Sims Freeplay, compared to babies, caring for babies is a little more difficult. Adult Sims will still need to keep a close eye on the kids. You can take the little ones to the children's entertainment center to keep them entertained, or take them to the beach where you can collect shells with them.

3. Children 10-12 years old

Children aged 10-12 in The Sims Freeplay have many similarities to real children of the same age. In particular, this concerns the fact that at this age children spend money, but cannot yet earn it on their own. But in the game, they can collect some money through their hobbies such as figure skating, ballet, karate and, like toddlers, they can collect shells. Children 10-12 years old do not require additional attention from adults, but there are some aspects where they cannot do without the help of adults.

4. Teens

Teenagers, like ten-year-olds, spend a lot of money, but unlike them, teenagers can earn money on their own. But don't expect them to make a lot of money. The only time teenagers will need adult help is driving. Teenagers have a fairly wide range of hobbies compared to ten-year-old children. This includes cooking, figure skating, swimming, arcade games, surfing, breakdancing, modeling, and casting spells.

5. Adults

Adults are the only ones who perform routine daily work during the day: putting food on the table and working at work. But they can also have their own hobbies, just like the hobbies described above for teenagers. They may also indulge in more "mature" hobbies that include fishing, ghost hunting, salsa and more. Among other things, adults must have a career, it can be something fun like games or something more serious like teaching or real estate, how long they have a job, so long they can earn money from it.

6. Elderly

Elderly people in The Sims Freeplay do not work because they have already left their jobs. What are they doing? Do they have any hobbies? Yes, there are, and these are the “stereotypical” hobbies that older people do: bird feeding, bingo and sewing. These are new hobbies that keep your Sims busy.

I wanted to publish a review of this game before the New Year. But then the game didn’t impress me at all. I created a thread on the forum: How do you mock your Sims and calmed down. And recently the game was updated, it became possible to get married and have children. And I returned to her again.

The idea of the game is interesting - the Sims live in the same daily routine as you do. It's morning for you and it's morning for them. You go to bed - and they want to rest. You give them tasks, they complete them for some time (from 5 seconds to several hours), for each task you receive experience points and (or) game dollars. The game also has a currency (LP), which can be purchased for real money. However, LP can be earned in the game itself. At the end of the article, I provided some tips on how to quickly earn game currency.

Of course, this approach to monetization is not without its drawbacks: to add another Sim you need to pay for his house, wait until it is built, then wait until the Sim himself moves in... In general, it’s a chore. But interesting. Even though the game is only in English. Sometimes I used the help of a translator.

This is how my Sim proposes. Of course, he was accepted (they wouldn’t have accepted him with a ring for 20 LP!):

By the way, it was not for nothing that I mentioned the price of the ring... In another couple, the girl constantly rejected her boyfriend’s proposal, if he offered her to get engaged with a ring cheaper than 10 LP - she had to spend money... Well, they are now married and spend days working off the money invested in them - plowing in the fields! :)

Yes, yes, you can grow vegetables and get money for it. IMHO, growing plants is much more profitable than sending Sims to work. I don't send it. They work in my garden. Here, for example, is a typical situation: slaves on a plantation. :)

After hard work, very tired Sims return to the house. Well, just like a zombie. They trudge along as if I forced them to build Egyptian pyramids and not grow lettuce:

We have to raise their vital signs: feed them, bathe them, send them to the toilet, force them to communicate and dance. Fortunately, this is not difficult to do. This is not a reality where in order to eat you first need to go to the store and then cook lunch. No, the Sims have it much simpler.

Do you want to eat? Open the refrigerator. No energy? Coffee will help! Sims don’t even need a bed, just a couple of cups of coffee and he’s ready to work on the field again and enjoy life. On the one hand, this greatly simplifies the game process, on the other, it leads to insanity. For example, to make your Sim feel clean, you can bathe them for 3 minutes or make them wash their hands several times. The effect will be the same...

Sometimes I actually envy them, these Sims... Their dogs find money in the garden, food magically appears in the refrigerator, they don’t need to sleep... Not life, but raspberries. :)

I even made a Sim survival pack list. And not just survival, but comfortable living, in which all needs will be satisfied to the maximum. What do you need to be happy? Make a list of things and calculate the amount you need to spend on them. Did you count? Yeah, now compare with the list of Sims (prices in dollars, all furniture is three-star, i.e. the best):

  • Small room 6 by 8 cells - 2400
  • Window with door - 400
  • Toilet - 3500
  • Shower - 4000
  • Music center - 4500
  • Phone - 1200
  • Refrigerator – 5600
  • Bedside table with coffee maker – 4100
  • Well, and a garden plot for growing plants and earning money for 20 bucks.

All. $25,720. This will be enough for the rest of your life (happy, carefree life). But what's the end? Sims don't age, their furniture doesn't wear out, and they can change their wardrobe for free. Beauty, not life...

And in general... They are so joyful, these Sims... They rejoice at every completed task. They jump, scream and glow with happiness after every trip to the toilet, after every phone call and after every feeding...

And how nicely they talk. They have their own language. Dima asks me all the time: “What are your Sims chirping? What kind of garage? What kind of Kaluga?

I’m already tired of explaining to him that this is not a garage and this is not Kaluga with the emphasis on the last syllable. This is how my Sims are happy about completing tasks. They jump up and shout: Garage Kaluga!!!

After another joke from Dima about garages in Kaluga, we spent the whole day (Lucky and his sister were visiting) taking the Sims’ example. A sort of Simoron ritual - every successfully completed task was celebrated with a loud Kaluga-garage scream. Just imagine: 3 grown women acting like Sims all day long. They rejoice, make noise, jump. A madhouse and nothing more. Dima doesn't tease me anymore))

Well, let's get back to the Sims. They can give birth to children... Well, how to give birth... In order for a loving couple to have a child, you need to buy a cradle and pay money (I don’t remember how much LP):

The baby lies in the crib: you can play with him, change his diapers and feed him:

These are the children who emerge from the crib. Although the Sims have intimate relationships... Two Sims in love can do WooHoo. This whole thing lasts 5 minutes and for some reason gives very few experience points (only 15)... Again, they don’t need a bed for this... They are ready to do WooHoo anywhere and anytime:

A recent update introduced new features in the game: for example, you can turn a baby into a preschooler (for this you need to celebrate a birthday with a cake). This is the child I got:

Don't want to become a Sim yet? :)

Tips: how to quickly earn money, experience points (XP) and lifestyle points (LP)

  • Be sure to collect the money that the dog is looking for in the garden (treasure). In addition to dollars, she sometimes finds LPs.
  • More expensive items give more XP over the same amount of time. Those. It is more profitable to buy 1 expensive bathtub than 2 cheap ones. And bathe all your Sims in it one by one. :)
  • Develop relationships between Sims. Each new level in a relationship gives experience points (XP). In pursuit of profit, I forced all my Sims to date each other. :)
  • Complete tasks. Some of them are easier to skip (you'll have to pay LP for this), but most of them are easy.
  • Build buildings in the city. For each building you will be given a reward.
  • Log into the game every day and receive a daily cash bonus in your mailbox.

I was very stupid with some tasks. For example, task Do Tai Chi at the Park. It would seem that everything is simple: you need to send your Sim to the park and make him do tai chi. But how to do this? I clicked on everything, make a barbecue - please, feed the ducks - please. But tai chi... I had to look for the answer on the Internet. It turned out that you had to click on the Sim himself and select a tai chi class... Hmmm!

But overall the tasks are interesting. Some are very simple (like bake gingerbread or buy a table), and some are cool. For example, you need to send a Sim to work with a low level of hygiene (in other words, unwashed and smelling bad)... But I always give my wards a bath. How to quickly pollute a Sim? I tried all the methods and found the most effective one. You need to go to a trash can on the street, kick it over, and then click on it and force your Sim to empty it. And so on several times. The wash scale will immediately turn red:

If you don’t know how to complete this or that task, write in the comments, I’ll try to help. :)

Video of my Sims:

These are the Sims... Of course, this is just a semblance of the original game, but on the iPad and for free... Do you play this game? If you have any tips on how to quickly earn money and experience, write and I’ll add them to the article.

Verytruth (joyfully jumping up) for

Phew, I finished the review. Garage Kaluga!!!

Update:

In the new update (dated June 21, 2012), it became possible to receive gifts for neighbors (LP). To do this you need to be friends on Facebook. Here my account in this social network- add as a friend.

Friends are displayed as neighbors on the ship:

Also in the new update, it is possible to build a nightclub (it can be built either for LP or if you have three neighbors):

You can also buy a cat:

Attention: in the update dated August 2, 2012, the Russian language appeared in the game!

To switch to Russian, click on the green button at the bottom center of the screen with three white dots.

Then on the Options button:

Settings will appear, scroll through the languages to the right or left until you see Russian:

All. There is no need to press anything else (press the back button - I marked it with the number 2). Enjoy the game in your native language:

Surely, many questions on assignments will disappear as translation is unnecessary. True, some things are now called very funny, unusual)):

A new “Beauty Salon” building (next to the pet store) has also become available in the game - you can change your hairstyle or get a tattoo:

Oh yes, you can finally make cocktails in the nightclub (to inspire your Sim):

True, the prices for cocktails are steep (this one costs $4,500!), apparently a very prestigious nightclub))

And new houses have become available for purchase (for example, a Snowboarder's Dream or a designer house):

I wish you all a pleasant game. Share your impressions of the game in Russian. :)

Friends in The Sims FreePlay:

By popular demand, I have collected, based on recent comments, the addresses on Facebook of those who want friends in the game (if someone is no longer playing, please unsubscribe).

At first glance, the mobile game is similar to the famous original version. In fact, with a discount on the platform and free-to-play distribution model, it has undergone a number of gameplay simplifications and changes, and now has the right to be considered a completely independent project. Let's figure out how to play The Sims FreePlay without investing money and developing your city, and also let’s talk a little about the “Curly-Curly” event, which is happening in it right now.

Start of the game

The game can be downloaded for free from, or, but it requires a constant Internet connection to work. After installation, for some time you will not need to do anything except complete game quests - they will gently introduce you to the game world and provide useful information on key points of the game.

1. Level and currency

The number in the circle corresponds to your current level. Experience for increasing the level is accumulated by performing any action - the longer the action takes, the more experience is awarded for it. New levels provide access to new tasks and items.

The main game currency is simoleons. Their main sources are work and growing vegetables in garden beds. It is better to send residents to work at night while you are sleeping. There is no point in building jobs until quests require it - there is little benefit from this, and money may be needed to complete tasks. However, until you have upgraded your working skills, growing beans at night may be a little more profitable.

In the future, a daily cash bonus that you will receive in your mailbox will be a good help. The size of the bonus depends on your level and the value of your city - each building built increases this value by a fixed amount. You can also win a relatively large sum from a money tree - it becomes available for planting every few hours after completing the corresponding quest.

Simoleons are spent mainly on improving houses and constructing buildings in the city.

Lifestyle points- the second type of currency, which is no longer so easy to earn. You will receive them for completing tasks, and pets can also collect small amounts of SP points. Their main purpose is to speed up any actions that some impatient players naturally cannot wait for completion. You can also spend points on some interior items.

Communication points- the third type of currency, which is earned by completing a line of social quests (actions on neighbors’ plots). In order to travel to your neighbors, you need to connect to the game Facebook-account (and have at least one friend playing The Sims FreePlay). You can get to your friend’s city through a holiday ship on the map or by tapping on the icon with the image of the globe in the lower left corner. In case of a complete absence of friends interested in the game, the menu of the ship has a neighboring location controlled by AI. You can spend OO on special houses or interior items.

2. Tracking device

In order to control all the residents of your city at the same time, the game has a special menu - “tracking device”.

It displays all your Sims and their current activities, as well as progress bars for these same activities. From here you can employ your wards (second tab) and send them to work, monitor progress in hobbies (third tab) and relationships with other Sims (tab No. 4). By clicking on the round icon with the image of a character, you can be transported to the location in which he is located, and by tapping on the whistle, the resident himself will be transported to the place that you are viewing at the current moment in time.

3. Needs

Each Sim has five basic needs: hunger, hygiene, restroom, communication, fun. The need scales are located in the lower left corner of the screen and are provided with a color indication (red=things are bad). When all needs are met to a sufficient extent, green lights appear around the Sim and they are considered "inspired". This means that for all actions he will receive more experience and game currency. You can instantly inspire a Sim for a long time by feeding him a cupcake or cake (bought in the needs menu for lifestyle points). When a character is busy with something, the scales empty much more slowly. Therefore, in order to spend less time meeting the needs of your clients, simply do not let them sit idle. Sims continue to work even when you turn off the game. When they complete particularly important actions, the game sends notifications accordingly. For maximum productivity, give Sims tasks in their own homes - this will increase both productivity and reward.

4. Menu

This group of icons is responsible for moving around the game world, arranging houses and making purchases.

- Neighbours. An icon with a globe will open a list of cities available for visiting.

- Construction mode. When you are in one of the houses, clicking on this icon will open the interior, construction and gardening store. Don't waste your money, most items will be given to you for free as a reward for completing tasks.

- City. An icon depicting a multi-story building will open your own city, which you will gradually expand and build up.

- In-game store. Here you can purchase any game currency and unique sets of items for real money.

5. Quests

Your main activity in the game will be completing tasks or achieving goals. They are divided into several types:

- Plot. With their help, you will discover new opportunities and items - for example, weddings and wedding dresses or the birth of children.

- Weekly. Performing ordinary actions, the final reward for which will be keys to boxes with valuable items. Difficult tasks can be skipped for lifestyle points.

- Public. These include all tasks performed on the territory of neighboring cities. Completed quests are rewarded with a small amount of communication points.

- Events. The most interesting and always time-limited tasks. The event lasts only a few days and gives access to unique content. If you do not manage to complete the event within the established time frame, unfortunately, you will no longer be able to obtain event items by other means. Currently, the game is running the quest “Curly-Curly”, which we will tell you about in a little more detail.

Curly-curly

To start this quest you will need to build a hobby shop if you haven't done so before. The building is very useful even without taking into account the ongoing event, since in it you will purchase goods for hobbies and career development. Now you are interested in the item “Fashion Atelier”, which is located in the second tab of the store. The cost of the atelier is 2500 Simoleons. Set up a workshop in the house of a character who does not yet have a hobby, since trying to work in a workshop will completely reset the progress of the previous hobby. In order to get the maximum number of new hairstyles, your character must collect all four clothing collections (12 items).

New items become available for crafting as your hobby level increases. They are created in random order. In addition to hairstyles, each collected collection will bring you an additional reward.

Some non-obvious points

  • If you shake a smartphone with the game running, the Sims will become sick and empty their stomachs. For cleaning up the unsightly mass, your Sim receives seven experience points.
  • Planting genetically modified plants is not as profitable as it might seem at first glance. Instead of an impressive cash reward, you will most likely receive a carnivorous plant (defeating which, however, requires a few experience points).
  • Watch videos in the quest menu and play roulette with the messenger (also for watching videos) - in a relatively short time you will receive items (sometimes expensive), currency or experience.
  • If you don't want to wait for game day or night, change the time on your mobile device for a moment - the game will synchronize with it.
  • Those who are going to farm Simoleons using a vegetable garden should place the beds in one yard, and not one in each house. Collect the available number of Sims in the desired yard and move forward to the Michurin peaks. This way you can plant and harvest crops faster.
