Minecraft modes. Creative and other game modes...

Depending on the player's preferences, you can select several Minecraft game modes. All of them, as a rule, come down to the process of destroying objects to obtain the structures and objects required by the player. Since the final goal in the game is not defined, the gameplay consists of solving certain problems set either by the player himself, at his discretion, or by the administrator. Most players consider Minecraft to be a game simulator with a construction function, but this is far from the case. Construction is more related to the Minecraft Classic version. In other versions and modifications, including online ones, players have the opportunity to participate in large online construction projects, mini-games and perform special tasks. The game currently features 5 game modes, namely:

Survival mode

Minecraft survival mode is classic version games. In this mode, the player, finding himself in an unfamiliar area, must get food for himself and protect himself from hostile creatures. The player mines various materials, gradually improving his life, travels to other biomes and worlds, and engages in trade. The player's actions in this mode are limited by the criteria of hunger, health, air under water, which must be maintained in normal condition.

Many players consider the battle with the edge dragon to be the end of the game. Getting into the world of this creature is not easy, and even more so defeating it. After his death, the credits appear, but the game can be continued, so it cannot be called a clear ending.

Minecraft hardcore

Fundamentally gameplay minecraft hardcore is no different from survival with the exception of one small but very significant feature. There is only one life here, and once you die, you will no longer be able to be reborn in this world. It will be possible to explore the world after death in Minecraft Hardcore only in observation mode, but we’ll talk about that later.

Surveillance Mode

Observation mode allows the player to move around the map, regardless of the presence of blocks, and view the world from the perspective of any character or creature on the map. At the same time, in this mode there is completely no interaction with the outside world. You seem to fly through any obstacle. Only in this mode, when you are inside the rock, will you be able to see the nearest cavities. Oddly enough, you can also die in this mode by accidentally flying over bedrock.

Minecraft creative mode

This mode gives the player immortality, the ability to fly, and an unlimited amount of any resources available in the game. In a word, ideal conditions for creators and artistically inclined individuals.

Adventure Mode

A mode designed for passing maps. In this mode, the player's actions are significantly limited. As a rule, scenario objects here cannot be changed or broken by the player, and the passage of the map is achieved by talking with other characters or influencing devices and mechanisms.

A mode in Minecraft is a kind of setting that you are asked to choose at the very beginning of the game.

The choice of a specific game mode determines in what form you will continue the game.

Now we will consider all existing game modes in the game. At the moment there are 4 modes in the game. These are Creative mode, Survival mode, Hardcore mode and Adventure mode. All modes except adventure can be selected by creating new world. Adventure mode can only be activated using Creativity by entering the command /gamemode 2 Nickname into the chat. Also in earlier versions Minecraft (Alpha, Beta) had a Classic mode. It was free to play without purchasing premium account, but you wouldn’t be able to fully immerse yourself in the game, because in the classic mode you couldn’t craft items, brew potions, and so on. It was only possible to break and place blocks. This mode has now been removed, and you can download pirated version games to fully play, but you will not be able to install a skin for yourself, and therefore it is better to buy a license. Below we will look at all game modes in more detail.

1. Creative mode.

A mode in Minecraft that is perfect for architects. And also for those who like to build large buildings, as well as for server administrators in multiplayer. In this mode you have everything - endless blocks, things, ores. When you open inventory mode, you will see many various items, which you can take from there as much as you want, too. You can build an entire castle with one single block in your hand, because this block will be endless. With this mode, you can fly over vast distances by just pressing the Spacebar twice. Your health will not be taken away and you will not experience hunger. Also you will be immortal. A mode that most players like, but not everyone is happy with, since in this mode you will not be able to develop - you will already have everything. But, you will be able to create extraordinary buildings (however, this is what this mode was created for).

2. Survival.

An interesting mode that is loved by all players. Here you will already have the opportunity to choose the difficulty level. It is interesting to develop in this mode, because you will not have endless resources, unlike the previous one. Hiking into the mines and searching for the Edge dimension, what could be better? You will have a limited amount of health and satiety, and in order to survive, you will have to look for provisions, hide in the house at night, as hordes of monsters will walk on the streets - hungry and bloodthirsty, ready to do anything to feast on human flesh. But you can make yourself armor and weapons from the resources you find, and destroy evil mobs. If you die, you can be reborn at your respawn point. Although, if you set the difficulty level to “Peacefully”, then the monsters will not be so scary, since there will not be any of them at all. Hunger will also not appear, but this mode will still remain very interesting.

3. Hardcore.

Mode for professionals only! It will be very difficult for beginners to play, since in this mode you will not be able to change the difficulty level, it will always be set to “Difficult”. You only have one life, and if you die, you will never be able to be reborn, your world will be deleted. Otherwise it is similar to Survival mode.

4. Adventure.

A complicated version of Survival. It is activated only through Creativity. It is impossible to play without a chest with a bonus (or without cheats). In this mode, you must break all blocks with “your” tools. For example, earth with a shovel, stone with a pick. You can hardly break anything with your hand. Otherwise similar to Survival.

These were all the game modes that exist in Minecraft.

On my own behalf, I wish you good luck and more diamonds!

The game has 4 game modes. The difference between them is quite significant. Which one you choose depends only on personal preference. “As the soul falls.”

Creative/Creative.

In this mode, you don’t even need to purchase the game: you can even open it in a browser. It is characterized by an “ideal” life: an infinite number of blocks and their instant destruction, an endless supply of health, and the like. There are no monsters. You cannot die (the /kill command is an exception). You sit and build the pyramids of Cheops... Grace. Absolutely nothing happens. Although, not everyone likes this life.

Survival.

This is no longer without difficulties. Unlike the first mode, your health is no longer endless and “construction is construction, but you always want to eat.” There were also difficulties with blocks. However, all these are still flowers. The berries will begin to ripen with the onset of night, that is, after 10 minutes (the length of the day): various evil spirits will come to you with open arms. Please note that when you die, you are resurrected in the place where you slept and things from your inventory, as well as part of the experience, fall out at the place of death and remain there for 5 minutes.

Hardcore.

You probably already guessed that the further, the worse. This mode is strictly not recommended for beginners. Here, of course, everything is decay. For example, your “night guests” have learned to break wooden doors. Well, or for example, when you die, the whole world is deleted. So, if you have nerves of steel, as they say, “Forward and sing!”

Adventure.

Not much different from the “Survival” mode: everything is the same, but blocks can only be broken with a certain tool. By the way, in the original version of this mode it was not even possible to install blocks. Then, apparently, they decided to take pity.

Some maps that you download and install are made in this mode, since you need to complete tasks with restrictions.

By the way, some modes can be combined. For example, you can combine the “Hardcore” mode with the “Creative” mode or “Hardcore” with the “Adventure” mode. Variety, everything...

Little people with square head, with their arms and legs they roam around the world, consisting of multi-colored cubes. You can create such cubes, you can delete them. In such a world there are no monsters, damage and death are also absent. The mode is more like a multiplayer 3D world editor. In such a simple version, Minecraft turned out to be very tempting, and it was in it that people eagerly rushed to create sculptures from the Simpsons and Futurama, as well as build and flood the subway;).

So for example during times classic versions on one server they were building an epic metro, and one smart guy dug a canal all the way to the sea, which led to its rapid flooding, and “Zatopeelo metro” was shouted into the chat. ps: on modern versions of Minecraft, flooding is almost impossible due to the strange physics of water. However, water can do various nasty things - for example, demolish torches and rails.

Survival

The modern version differs from the classic one in that it has finally become more like a game. Blocks are no longer given in infinite quantities, but it is necessary to obtain material for them by digging up existing blocks or creating (crafting) from some others, or baking them in the oven.

Now the world is endlessly generated according to a given or randomly selected grain. Here you can see picturesque nature with square forests, fields, seas and deserts. All this appears in the light of a square sun rising and setting in real time and no less than a square moon, it is not clear according to what algorithm the setting and rising in endless world. With very poorly developed graphics, a very impressive picture of a living virtual world is created.

A huge variety of minerals can be observed in the earth, which can be mined using various tools.

Carefully! The game features monsters (the same cubic ones as everything else) and a real opportunity to glue fins together. Monsters appear in poorly lit places - at night or in dungeons closed from light. During the day, almost all of them die or stop being aggressive. Due to the presence of monsters and their sudden appearance, usually at the most inopportune moment, the game began to be considered by many as a full-fledged world of horrors and nightmares.

Creative (creation)

This new and at the same time old mode has replaced the outdated Classic mode of previous versions of Minecraft. Now you can choose which of the two modes to play in directly when creating a new world.
The essence of the mode remained unchanged - a construction site various kinds structures and tests. Infinite items, flight mode available (via doublejump), immortality (the main thing is not to fall under the adminium, which, by the way, we also destroy in this mode) and instant destruction of any block with bare hands!!! It differs from the Classic mode in the presence of mobs, both friendly and hostile, and an update synchronous with the Survival mode.

Hardcore (hardcore)

The mode appeared in version 1.9pre2. Almost the same as survival, only on maximum level difficulties with perma-death. After the death of the character and pressing the only available “Delete” button, the entire little world is immediately demolished, along with everything that you managed to sculpt there. Hardcore servers automatically ban the player after death. Hardcore servers are often called servers with simplified gameplay.

Adventure

Adventure mode first appeared in version 1.3.1. In this mode, it will no longer be possible to chisel rock with your hands: for wood you need an axe, for earth - a shovel, etc. How to get wood at the beginning of the game? Most likely, with the help of the night and the green freak creeper, who can blow up a tree and, with a certain level of luck, a couple of blocks of wood will fall out of it.

In general, adventure mode was created for custom cards with all sorts of ingenious tasks: collect hidden blocks of multi-colored wool, fighting off crowds of monsters, or, for example, go through some hellish labyrinth consisting of traps, or survive using very limited resources given at the start... Restrictions on interaction with blocks made it possible to create scenarios where more interesting and atmospheric, because all sorts of cheating breaks of pressure plates, buttons, redstone circuits and the like no longer work in adventure mode.

The Minecraft program will prompt you to specify the game type every time you load a new session. To choose the one that is truly suitable from all the available mode options, it is worth knowing how they differ from each other.

Creation. Choose this mode if you want to focus on all kinds of construction. Here you are given an unlimited number of any blocks and tools, there is no danger of unexpectedly dying (you can only commit suicide with the /kill code). Build either huge cities or high-tech houses. And to admire your achievements, activate flight mode.

Survival. This version of the game poses a more difficult task for the gamer. There is a division between day and night, and with the onset of darkness, the world is filled with evil entities seeking to kill your character. We have to take care of a safe shelter during this time, mining necessary resources with their own efforts - chiseling virtual rock, cutting down trees. Useful tools wear out periodically and need to be crafted regularly. Along with the health reserve, the minecraft hero has a satiety indicator. In order not to die of hunger, you should stock up on food.

Hardcore. The main difference between this regime is the “disposable” life. If a character dies, all his achievements are lost. Even the very world in which he lived is destroyed. Monsters in this type of game are more dangerous - they are able to break through wooden blocks. This forces us to take a more responsible approach to shelter construction.

Adventure. Game creators and server administrators can use this mode to prevent griefing (damage to game objects) or set some other restrictions. Here, the right tools are required to destroy the blocks.

Whatever mode you choose, you will need knowledge about the materials available in the game. Are you already familiar with the properties and purpose of red stone?
