How to play the “Frontline” mode: an overview of innovations in World of Tanks. How to play the “Frontline” mode: an overview of innovations in World of Tanks Frontline wot progress by level

The tenth episode of “Frontline” is the last. After it ends, you will have the opportunity to exchange the valor points you earned for rewards, even if they are not enough for the prize vehicles.

You can exchange valor points in the window for selecting prize vehicles in the Front Lines interface, but only after the end of the tenth episode.

From November 25, 4:05 (Moscow time) until December 12, 4:00 (Moscow time) you can exchange valor points for vehicles, gold and bonds yourself.

If you did not have time to do this, your valor points will automatically be exchanged for gold and bonds. Exchange rate: 1 valor point = 100 bonds and 300 units of gold.

To get bonds and gold for valor points, you need to go to World client of Tanks until February 12, 2020.

What innovations appeared in the tenth episode?

The drop rates for the Kraftwerk and Normandy cards are now equal.

How long will Frontline mode be available?

The regime will be in effect from February to November 2019. It consists of ten seven-day stages, one for each month. Look for the exact times of the stages in the regulations on the official World of Tanks portal.

What vehicles can be used in battles in the “Frontline” mode?

In this mode, players fight using vehicles VIII level, including on award and premium tanks. While it is active, you can rent special tanks that can only be played in Frontline. These are copies of existing combat vehicles. At all stages, players have access to Soviet medium tank T-44 LF. In addition, at each stage it will be possible to rent two certain premium cars. Full list look for equipment in the “Front Line” regulations.

What are the rules for “Front Line” battles?

The basic rules of the regime are:

  • The battle takes place on a map measuring 3 by 3 km.
  • Two teams of 30 players each participate.
  • Platoon play is allowed.
  • The attacking team must break through the defenses and destroy at least three of the five long-term enemy firing points.
  • The defenders must hold their positions and retain at least three of the five defended objects.
  • Shooting at allies does not cause damage.
  • For detailed rules, read the “Front Line” regulations.

What combat reserves are available in Frontline 2019?

Available reserves:

  • Airstrike - causes minor damage and stuns enemies in the selected sector.
  • Shelling - causes significant damage to vehicles in the center of the strike, decreasing as they move away from the center.
  • Inspiration - gives an increase to the main specialty to the crew of your vehicle and allied vehicles nearby.
  • Sabotage squad - increases the speed of replenishment and restoration of the service area. For attackers, it increases the speed of capturing a base; for defenders, it increases the time it takes to block the capture when there is damage to the attackers.
  • Smoke screen - temporarily reduces the visibility of vehicles and camouflages vehicles in the specified sector.
  • Reconnaissance aircraft - temporarily transmits intelligence information about vehicles in the selected zone.
  • +100% to frontline experience - doubles experience for 1 hour from the moment of activation.

How to get combat reserves for double frontline experience?

From August 12 to August 19, playing in random battles and completing simple combat missions, you could receive up to ten reserves. During Frontline, you can buy packs with personal reserves for gold in the in-game store. There are three such sets:

  • for one reserve - 250 units of gold;
  • for three reserves - 750 units of gold;
  • for six reserves - 1500 units of gold.

Each set can only be purchased once, meaning the maximum number of reserves you can buy is ten.

What will happen to the valor points that remain after exchanging for equipment, and to those that are not enough for the exchange?

Has the economy changed in Frontline mode?

No, the economy of the regime did not change.

Why can’t the crew be transferred to the T-44 LF without a fine?

Where can I see my progress in the event?

How to obtain degrees of valor?

You must first reach Frontline level 30. After this, the opportunity to increase valor will appear in the progress window. Use it to get valor level 1. After this, you can go through all 30 levels of “Front Line” again and each time after reaching top level use the valor boost. In this way you can raise the degree of valor up to 10th.

Access to degrees of valor opens gradually. Maximum degree Valor in a stage is limited to the current stage number plus two (for example, at stage 5 you can get a maximum of 7th degree of valor).

How can I achieve valor level 10 if I cannot participate in all stages?

Starting with Episode 8, you will be able to earn all ten levels of Valor in one episode.

What in the player's progress is reset when moving to the next stage?

The player does not lose anything.

Will it be possible to buy all four prize vehicles with Valor Points?

No, the points earned are enough for a maximum of two tanks. Take this into account when choosing technology.

Will I get gold if I already have STA-2 and WZ-111 in my Garage?

No. If you already have STA-2 and WZ-111 in your Garage, you will not be able to exchange Valor Points to obtain them.

Why didn't I receive experience, credits and ranks based on the results of the battle?

Your earnings and achievements will be canceled if you leave the battle before it ends. We adopted this principle in order to encourage honest fighters who fight for their team to the last.

Moreover, if a player did not leave the battle on his own, but was “thrown out”, he can return to battle within five minutes. Then his income and titles will remain.

Is it possible to complete personal combat missions in Frontline mode?

No, you can't.

Why did I earn so few credits for the battle?

The reason is that you used a lot of shells (including premium ones), and the peculiarities of replenishing ammunition at the end of the battle.

When you replenish your ammunition at a repair point, it is not free. During the battle, it takes into account how many times you fired and with what kind of projectiles. After the battle, only the standard ammunition of your tank is replenished. If you have spent more shells in battle than your tank's ammo rack can hold, their cost will be deducted from your total income. This is what causes you to earn few credits.

Why can't I choose a tank for battle or shoot at the enemy in battle?

This problem may occur when using game modifications. There are no specific restrictions on the use of technology. The main thing is that you choose a Tier VIII vehicle.

To solve the problem, remove mods or launch the game without mods through Game Center. And if you use a launcher, then launch World of Tanks in safe mode.

How to remove mods:

  1. Close the World of Tanks client.
  2. Download the archive from our website.
  3. Unpack the archive, place the bat file in the root directory of the game (for example, C:\Games\World_of_Tanks) and run it.
  4. Launch the game client, check the relevance of the problem.

Why didn't I receive the Commander-in-Chief medal?

To receive this medal, you need to earn not only the rank of general in battle, but also greatest number experience in the team. If one of these conditions is not met, the reward is not issued.

If I didn't have time to reach and reset Frontline level 30, will my levels be burned out?

They won't burn. Your progress through Frontline levels within the same valor level remains unchanged and is not reset. For example, if you finished the first episode at level 25, then you will start the game in the second episode from the same level.

Why doesn't the damage I caused to the firing point count?

Only damage you inflict on other players counts. The firing point is not a player.

Tankers!

“Frontline” returns to World of Tanks and starts February 11. The mode has undergone spot and balance changes, thanks to which it has retained the main features of the unique gameplay of “Frontline”, but has become even more interesting. In addition, we have optimized it, making it more comfortable.

Unlike 2018, the new version of Frontline will run throughout 2019. The updated mode will consist of a series of game events throughout the year. Thus, “Frontline” will start every calendar month and will be available to players for one week. Below we talk about the long-term goals in Frontline and other important changes that will be added to the mode.

General description

  • Battles take place between two teams of 30 players each.
  • Battles in this mode take place only with Tier VIII vehicles.
  • All Tier VIII equipment available in the Hangar, as well as special Tier VIII rental tanks, are available to participate in the mode.

Goals

Each team has its own task:

  • The attacking team must break through the defensive front and destroy at least 3 out of 5 long-term firing points on enemy territory.
  • The defending team, accordingly, must hold off the attackers until the battle time expires.

The fighting takes place on a map with a total area of 9 square kilometers, which can be divided into three horizontal lines of defense:

  • The first line of defense, sectors A, B and C are the starting points for the attacking and defending teams.
  • Second line of defense, sectors D, E, and F - fighting are transferred to this part of the map after capturing one of the sectors of the first line of defense.
  • The third line of defense is a section of the map that is not divided into sectors, where the final part of the battle takes place. This is where the main targets are located - large-caliber guns, the destruction of which leads to victory. These guns are stationary and do not fire, and attackers must destroy them to achieve victory.

At the start of the battle, teams are automatically assigned 10 tanks to each of the three sectors of the first line of defense.

Zone captured

Zone not captured

Each of the sectors of the first and second lines has a base. Capturing a base by an attacking team leads to the capture of the entire sector and the opening of the next vertical sector for attack.

For example, having captured a base in sector A, the attacking team will only be able to capture sector D.

Capturing at least one of the sectors of the second line opens up access to the third line and makes it possible to attack the main targets - the towers of large-caliber guns.

If the attacking team manages to gain a foothold in the sector and begin to capture the base, then the capture is carried out according to familiar rules, but with some additions:

  • The grip is removed from the tank only after it is destroyed.
  • Damaging a tank or module stops the capture of the base by that tank for 5 seconds.
  • The more bases in the first line are captured, the fewer capture points will be required to capture the second. If one base of the first line is captured, then to capture the base on the second line you will need 450 capture points. If two bases are captured, 250 capture points will be required. Capturing all three first line bases will reduce required quantity capture points up to 150. Remember: 1 capture point is equal to 1 second of being in the circle.
  • It is impossible to return the captured sector back.

If a sector is lost, the defenders must leave the lost sector within 1 minute. After a minute has passed, all remaining tanks of the defending team will come under air attack.

Likewise, tanks of the attacking team that enter the sector of the second line of defense without capturing the previous sector will be attacked from the air in a matter of seconds.

Destruction of the main targets becomes possible after the attackers capture at least one sector of the second line.

The main targets are five huge towers of twin large-caliber guns:

  • The durability of each target is 3200 units.
  • Frontal Armor/Turret: Cannot be penetrated or damaged by HE rounds.
  • Side armor: 180 mm.
  • Stern armor: 90 mm.
  • Weak spots: doors (70 mm) and ventilation holes (25 mm).

The basic duration of a battle in the Frontline mode is 12 minutes. This time can be increased due to successful actions of the attacking team:

  • Capturing sectors A, B, C adds 2 minutes to the battle time (for capturing each sector).
  • Capturing sectors D, E, F also adds 2 minutes to the battle time (for capturing each sector). Capturing the last zone adds 4 minutes to the battle time.

Overtime

  1. If, after the battle time has expired, at least one player from the attacking team is in the base capture circle, the extra time system is activated.
  2. Overtime lasts as long as the base is captured. The maximum time is 90 seconds. If the base has not been captured during this time, the attacking team loses. If during overtime the tackle is knocked down to zero, the attacking team loses and overtime ends early. Extra time is disabled if none of the attackers captures the base.

Description of other game mechanics

The Frontline mode will feature a mechanic for reviving tanks in battle, as well as service zones and combat reserves, the use of which can turn even a losing situation in your favor.

Revival in battle

  • At the beginning of the battle, each player has one vehicle to revive.
  • Every five minutes after the start of the battle, each player receives one additional opportunity revivals, however the player cannot accumulate more than two revivals.
  • The total number of revivals is not limited.

A sector that already contains 12 allied vehicles becomes unavailable for revival. There can only be one self-propelled gun in one sector. When playing on a self-propelled gun, you will not be able to respawn in a sector where there is already one self-propelled gun.

After destroying a tank, if you have the ability to revive, a screen appears on which you can select a vehicle suitable for battle and select a revival location in any of the zones controlled by the team.

Due to the huge size of the map, we have added one more innovation that will help you quickly change direction in battle. This can be useful, for example, when you finished off the enemy’s resistance on the flank, capturing the last sector of defense, and now you need to quickly move to the other flank to support the onslaught. Pressing a key ABOUT(in English layout this is J), you can switch to vehicle selection mode. Yes, in this case the tank will self-destruct (after a short countdown), but sometimes such actions can lead to victory.

Combat reserves

In total, six combat reserves can be used in the Frontline mode.

Each class of vehicle has a certain number of slots in the Hangar for combat reserves:

  • Three slots for heavy tanks.
  • Two slots for medium tanks and tank destroyers.
  • One slot for light tanks and self-propelled guns.

This distribution will allow each piece of equipment to influence the development of the battle: light tanks, for example, will be able not only to effectively scout the battlefield, but also due to more combat reserves will interact more closely with allies.

Combat reserves are selected only in the Hangar, before the start of the battle.

Slots for combat reserves are located on the left, in the same part of the screen as equipment with regular consumables.

Each combat reserve has 5 levels, which can be upgraded using Combat Reserve Points earned for progress in the front line levels, which will be described below.

The principle of operation of combat reserves (efficiency values are indicated for the maximum level V):

Airstrike

Activates a bomber that drops 60 bombs on the square 50 by 30 meters. Vehicles in the airstrike sector receive minor damage and a stun effect for 26 seconds. An airstrike is most effective against fast-moving targets or against large groups of enemy vehicles. The additional stun effect will also provide the player with some reward.

For damage caused by this reserve, experience and credits will also be awarded.

Shelling

The artillery battery performs for 5 seconds salvo of 20 shells by area 10 meters. Vehicles in the center of the strike receive significant damage, while targets on the border of the zone are relatively safe. Shelling is most effective for dealing maximum damage to slow targets.

For damage caused by this reserve, experience and credits will also be awarded.

Sabotage squad

Gives permanent 50% replenishment speed bonus And 50% bonus to service area recovery speed. Attackers receive80% bonus to base capture speed. The defenders block the capture of the base by10 secondsmore when dealing damageattacking player's car. Additionally, defenders can block the capture of the base by driving into the capture circle. The “Sabotage Squad” combat reserve is most effective with allied vehicles for attacking or defending bases, and for frequent use of replenishment zones.

Inspiration

Increases the increase in the main specialties of the player's crew and allies by 15% within a radius of 40 meters for 60 seconds. If the vehicle leaves the range of the reserve, “Inspiration” continues to operate for 10 seconds. “Inspiration” stacks with all existing crew member bonuses, so it is most effective in combination with premium gear and equipment (for example, Extra Pike and Improved Ventilation). Experience is gained by those players who have activated “Inspiration”. If more than one player turns this combat reserve on, the bonus goes to the player who turned it on first.

Spy plane

The reconnaissance aircraft conducts surveillance over an area of 300 x 750 meters. The reconnaissance flight lasts 15 seconds; all vehicles in the area are detected and remain visible for 30 seconds. The reconnaissance aircraft is most effective in areas near the player's vehicle that is not supported by allied reconnaissance aircraft. All information about noticed opponents is received not only by the player who activates the reserve, but also by all other allies within the scope of his radio; he also gains experience for damage caused by allies.

For damage caused by allies when a player illuminates an aircraft, experience and credits will also be awarded.

Smoke screen

To the specified zone200 by 50 meters5 smoke grenades are fired. Smokes last for50 seconds; they reduce visibility and camouflage vehicles in the specified sector. Equipment in a smoke screenhas 2/3 of the review. A smoke screen is most effective for sheltering allies from enemy fire or, if necessary, crossing a fire-covered area in greater safety. For damage caused by allies located in the player's smoke, experience and credits will also be awarded.

Service area

In each sector on the map, in addition to the base capture circle, there is a service area. The maintenance area restores the strength of the tank, restores damaged modules, relieves concussion of crew members and replenishes ammunition.

  • If a player takes damage during repairs, the service area is blocked for 5 minutes.
  • After the tank is restored to 100%, the service area becomes inaccessible for 2 minutes.

At the end of the battle, the player will pay the full cost with the restored strength service area, but not more than 100% of the vehicle’s strength.

For example:

  • The player has repaired three times 20% of the vehicle's durability - he will pay 60% for the repair.
  • The player repaired three times at 40% strength, but at the end of the battle he will pay not 120%, but only 100%.Giventhe rule will apply even if the player's vehicle is destroyed during the battle.
  • Thus, repairs that exceed the durability of the tank are free.

At the same time, if the number of spent shells exceeds the capacity of the ammunition stowage, the write-off will occur for the total number of replenished shells from the total income for the battle.

Consumables work on the principle of random battles: they will be written off for a single use in battle, regardless of how many times the consumable was used.

Rental cars

To participate in battles on the Front Line, the player only needs to have at least one carVIIIlevel.

However, for more comfortable game in mode it is recommended to have as many cars as possible: after being destroyed in battle, the vehicle is unavailable for restoration for several minutes. If you have suitable vehicles in the Garage, select another available vehicle and return to the battle after the 30-second countdown during rebirth.

If your Hangar does not have enough or no suitable Tier VIII equipment, you can rent it. Rental equipment will be available for one episode or for all remaining episodes at once.

All rental cars are copies of existing cars with the same characteristics.

Each episode, three cars will be available for rent. A total of 11 cars will be available for rent.

The base rental car for the mode will be a copy of the researched one Soviet medium tank T-44. This tank will be available during all episodes and will not be replaced by another vehicle. The remaining ten rental cars will be copies of existing premium cars. Two rental cars will be available in each episode. After the fifth episode, all rental car pairs will be repeated again.

Rented tanks will be equipped with "virtual" slots, and they will remain on your account until you manually delete them. Accordingly, you will need to remove all equipment, shells, consumables, crew, etc. manually if you plan to remove the tank.

Rental equipment will be available even if you already have the original version of the vehicle in your Hangar. Thus, you can have two identical tanks on your account - T-44 and T-44 LF.

You cannot rent the same car twice. For example, your account can only have one T34 LF.

The total number of equipment is not limited; Thus, you can have up to 11 rental tanks on your account.

There are 4 types of rental:

  • Rent for one episode when you rent a car for the first time. In this case, you receive a car along with a crew.
  • Rental for one episode when you have already rented a car and the rental period has expired. In this case, the vehicle remains in your Hangar and the rental period can be extended, and the cost of the extension will be lower than the original rental cost. This operation is possible even if the given car is not available for rent in the current episode. In this case, the crew will not be issued again.
  • Rent for all remaining episodes. In this case, the car will be available for all episodes, and the cost of renting a car for a week will be the most favorable. The rental price decreases with each completed episode*.
  • Weekend offer. Two days before the end of the episode (Saturday and Sunday), if this is the first rental, the car will be available for rental for the remaining two days plus the entire next episode. The total rental period can be 8 or 9 days.

*This option will not be available from episode 6 for the tank T-44 LF and from episode 8 for all other rental cars.

This offer is perfect for those who prefer to play on weekends.

Cost at the beginning of the season: with each season, the rental price decreases by 10%. For example, in episode 6 the rental price heavy tank will be 2000 gold.

The T-44 tank is rented with a 75% trained crew when renting for a week, and with a 100% trained crew when renting for the entire 2019 season.

Premium cars are rented with a free crew, trained up to 100%.

If necessary, you can transfer existing or better trained crew to rental equipment.

End of weekly rental

After the weekly rental period ends, the vehicle will remain in your Hangar, but will not be available for battles.

You can remove the rental car from your Hangar or extend the rental. To do this, right-click on the car and select the desired action from the menu that opens. These operations are also available in the Warehouse (right-click on the machine and select the desired action).

You can extend your lease on a car even if the lease on that car is not available in the current episode.

So, by Episode 5, you can have all 11 rental cars on your account.

Discounts on original versions of rental cars

All gold spent on rental will be accumulated in a special account, which can be used to receive a discount when purchasing the original version of any rental car.

The rental equipment and the period of its rental do not matter; all spent gold will be stored in the account.

The size of the discount is determined by the following factors:

  • The amount of gold that has accumulated in the account
  • The cost of the original version of the car

The amount of the discount will depend on the amount of gold spent on rent. The more gold you spend, the more discount you will receive. The discount will be calculated only in gold.

Gold that was not used to receive a discount remains in the account and can be accumulated further to receive further purchases.

Gold in the account that was not used to receive a discount will be lost after the end of the season.

*If you want to buy original version tank Pz. 58 FL, Pz. 58 Mutz will be credited to your account.

Economy

Five simple but important points: how experience, credits are awarded and the cost of repairs and shells is written off.

  1. Payment for repairs occurs for each destroyed tank: no matter how many times you are destroyed in battle, the cost of repairs will be written off once.
  2. Payment for consumables and shells is also written off for everything that was used in battle. Additional payment is charged only for replenishment of equipment.
  3. Credits are awarded using similar formulas as in random battles. There is a slight difference: due to b O Due to the longer battle time and the potential opportunity to go into battle with a large number of tanks, we have introduced correction factors that will save you from going into complete loss on loans in most cases. The mode is interesting, and we want to give you the opportunity to dive into it without fear of going broke.
  4. Experience is awarded in the same way as in random battles, plus additional coefficients for ranks. As in a random battle, following a victorious battle the player receives a 50% bonus to “pure” experience. This experience is distributed across all vehicles in which he participated in the battle. The specified bonus does not affect the receipt of rank and front-line experience in the regime.
  5. Bonuses from personal reserves, clan payments (30%, as in random battles), from premium equipment - all this works in “Front Line”.

Disabling fire on allies

We collected and studied in detail your feedback regarding the disabling of damage to allies after the launch of Frontline last year. And we saw that the players liked our idea and had a positive impact on gameplay mode. Therefore, we have decided not to enable taking damage from allied fire on Frontline.

Rewards for successful actions in battle

Players can receive rewards for certain effective actions in battle:

"Stormtrooper" "Iron Shield" "Commander in Chief" "Professional" "Assault Platoon"
Playing as attackers, earn 100 points to capture a base or destroy a large-caliber enemy weapon. Playing as defenders, inflict at least 1800 damage to enemy vehicles located in the base capture zones or within a radius of 150 meters from the main targets. Earn the most experience per battle and get the rank of general.

Deal the most total damage during the battle, including damage based on reconnaissance data or after shooting down a caterpillar, but not less than 10,000 units.

The platoon must destroy at least 20 enemy vehicles.

Long-term goals and valor mechanics

This time, “Frontline” will not be a short game event, but a full-fledged game season, consisting of 10 episodes, which will last almost the entire 2019.

For successful actions in battles on the “Front Line” you will receive a number of rewards: credits, consumables, pre-battle instructions, personal reserves.

The most active and successful players will receive reward tanks, bonds, game gold and a unique Tier IX secret tank.

Season 2019 episodes

The “Frontline” mode will be available for one calendar week, every calendar month, from February to November 2019. The weeks that Frontline is available will be referred to as episodes; the mode will not be available between episodes. Thus, in the 2019 season, players will have access to 10 episodes, each lasting one week.

Episode dates will be announced as the season progresses. You will be able to study the schedule of the current and next episode and plan your participation in the mode in advance.

Front-line experience and your development in battle

In Frontline mode there is a ranking system. There are only six ranks, from private to general. Your rank depends on the amount of experience earned in battle, which depends on your effectiveness in battle. Your main goal is to capture/defend zones and destroy/defend primary targets. The total experience earned on all vehicles that participated in the battle is counted. The more experience you earn, the higher your rank will be.

You increase your rank directly in battle and can monitor your progress.

The received rank determines coefficient to your experience.

Private
Sergeant
Lieutenant
Captain
Major
General
Frontline experience 0 +150 +350 +600 +900 +1200
Bonus to combat experience 0 +10% +25% +50% +100% +200%

The experience coefficient is applied after the battle to the total amount of pure experience earned on all vehicles that participated in the battle.

Frontline levels

You earn ranks (from private to general) throughout the battle. At the end of the battle, depending on the rank achieved, you receive front-line experience ( frontline experience points ) . Frontline experience is used to improve your "Front Line" level and your development in the 2019 season.

Level 1 0 points* Level 11 5000 Level 21 15700
Level 2 300 Level 12 5800 Level 22 17100
Level 3 650 Level 13 6700 Level 23 18600
Level 4 1000 Level 14 7600 Level 24 20100
Level 5 1400 Level 15 8600 Level 25 21700
Level 6 1800 Level 16 9600 Level 26 23300
Level 7 2300 Level 17 10700 Level 27 25000
Level 8 2900 Level 18 11900 Level 28 26800
Level 9 3600 Level 19 13100 Level 29 28600
Level 10 4300 Level 20 14400 Level 30 30500

* Important: each number is the total number of frontline experience points required to obtain a new level. For example, to move from level 27 to level 28, you need to earn 1800 frontline experience points.

Valor mechanics

Once you reach Frontline level 30, you gain the ability to use the special Valor mechanic.

When using this mechanic, you reset your Frontline level and combat reserve levels and get the opportunity to go from 1st to 30th Frontline level again and earn all the rewards again.

Valor Levels and Progression for the 2019 Season

Using the Valor mechanic, you can not only reset your Frontline level, but also increase your level of valor. areas.

There are ten levels of valor available in total. As you reach each level of valor, you receive rewards including bonds, gold, medals and stripes.

Access to degrees of valor opens gradually as you progress through the episodes.

The maximum level of valor is limited to the current episode number plus two degrees.

For example, in the first episode you can achieve the third degree of valor, in the second episode - the fourth degree of valor, and so on.

Thus, in Episode 8, the most active and productive players will already be able to reach Valor Level X.

On the other hand, progression through Valor levels is not limited by time or episode schedule. For example, you start the game with episode 5. You can catch up on valor levels (from I to V, and even VII (V+II)) at any convenient time, starting from the first degree of valor.

This mechanic will allow you to plan your gaming activity throughout the season. For example, you can catch up on your progress through Valor levels and miss an episode or two of Frontline when you are unable to participate in any of the mode's stages.

It is important to note that your progress through Frontline levels within the same valor level remains unchanged and is not reset. For example, if you complete the episode at level 25 of Frontline, you will start the game in the second episode at the same level.

In addition to the main rewards, each valor level brings you valor points, which can be exchanged for a reward tank. After reaching the maximum possible level of valor, progress through the Front Line levels stops; you will not be able to pump up to level 29 or 30 again and reset it immediately with the start of a new stage.

Valor Level and Prize Vehicles

Interactive image. Select an episode or level of valor to see the amount of valor points earned and the equipment available for purchase.

Exchange of valor points for reward vehicles

Each level of valor brings a certain number of valor points. The higher the degree, the more points it brings. Valor points can be exchanged for reward vehicles. A total of 4 cars will be available for exchange.

The cost of all cars is different. Increase your progress in Frontline mode to get a more attractive car.

If you already have STA-2 or WZ-111 on your account, you will not be able to exchange Valor Points to receive them.

At the end of the season, you will be able to exchange the Valor Points you have earned, regardless of whether they are enough for a prize car. The exchange will take place at the following rate:

  • 1 valor point = 300 + 100

Points and pumping up combat reserves

In addition to the reward for reaching each front level, you receive special glasses, which are necessary for pumping up combat reserves.

Unlike progress through levels, which occurs automatically, you will need to open and upgrade combat reserves yourself.

Performance in mode

We've optimized the cards to ensure consistent performance. You will be able to notice an increase in performance compared to the last launch. However, battles in Frontline mode are more demanding on computer performance than random battles. This is due to several key features new mode, including the huge size of the maps, a large number of objects and equipment on it, as well as the activation of combat reserves.

As a result, in some cases there may be problems with FPS levels and texture quality.

See you on the battlefields!

Front Line is 30 vs 30 battles on a huge special card with an area of 9 square kilometers,

many new game mechanics and additional rewards for overall progress and personal effectiveness. Frontline is available for Tier VIII vehicles.

in 2018 The event took place from May 7 to June 4, 2018.
in 2019, the event was launched every calendar month for one week.

  • Second episode - March 11 - March 18, 2019

To participate in the mode, it was necessary to select the appropriate battle mode selection tab.
In the first launch, it was possible to go into battle in the Front Line from 9:00 to 2:00 (Moscow time) on all servers.
Prime times 2019 from 07:00 to 04:00 on all servers.

After the end of the 2018 event, the vehicle crews were retrained for IS-6 and T34 tanks, and the shells were sold for 100% of the store value. Premium cars are rented with a free crew, trained up to 100%

Team tasks

Tower with large-caliber guns

Attacking team must break through the defense front and destroy at least 3 large-caliber guns out of 5 present on the map. The opportunity to attack firing points appears only after capturing the front on the second line of defense. Large-caliber guns are protected by armor and cannot be damaged in the frontal projection - to destroy them you need to attack vulnerable areas boats or stern. Characteristics of towers with large-caliber guns

  • Durability: 3200 units
  • It is impossible to penetrate the frontal armor/turret.
  • Side armor: 165 mm.
  • Stern armor: 90 mm.
  • Weak spots: doors (70 mm) and ventilation holes (25 mm).

Defensive team must hold off the attack before the battle time runs out.

The fighting takes place on a map with a total area of 9 square kilometers, which can be divided into three horizontal lines of defense:

The first line of defense, sectors A, B and C are the starting points for the attacking and defending teams. Second line of defense, sectors D, E, and F - combat operations are transferred to this part of the map as soon as one of the sectors of the first line of defense is captured. The third line of defense is a section of the map, not divided into sectors, where the final part of the battle takes place. It is here that large-caliber guns are located, the destruction of which leads to victory. At the beginning of the battle, teams are automatically distributed 10 tanks to each of the three sectors of the first line of defense.

Fight time

The basic duration of a battle in the “Front Line” mode is 12 minutes. But by capturing the base, attackers can increase this time.

Capturing the first line bang - A, B, C and any two bases of the second line adds 2 minutes additional time. Capturing the last base will add 4 minutes time.

That is, having captured all the bases, the attackers add 14 minutes of additional time.

In addition, it is provided Extra time

  • If, after the battle time has expired, at least one player from the attacking team is in the base capture circle, then the extra time system is activated.
  • The maximum additional time is 90 seconds.
  • Extra time is disabled if none of the attackers captures the base.

The rules for capturing bases in the "Front Line" mode differ from the rules for capturing bases in random battles:

  • The grip is removed from the tank only after it is destroyed.
  • If a tank is damaged or its module is damaged, the capture of the base by this tank is suspended for some time.
  • The more bases in the first line are captured, the fewer capture points will be required to capture the second. If one base of the first line is captured, then to capture the base on the second line you will need 450 capture points; if two, then 250; and capturing all three bases will reduce this value to 150.

It is impossible to return a lost sector.

If a sector is lost, the defenders must leave it within 1 minute. After this, all remaining tanks of the defending team will come under air attack.

New game mechanics regime

In the mode, the player received a number of opportunities that were not available in standard combat.

Combat reserves

In total, 6 combat reserves can be used during battle in the “Front Line” mode.

Shelling
An artillery battery fires a salvo of 16 shells over an area of 10 square meters within 4 seconds. Vehicles in the center of the strike receive significant damage, while targets on the border of the zone are relatively safe. Use Shelling to deal maximum damage to slow targets.

For the damage done by this combat reserve, you will receive a small amount of experience and credits.

Sabotage squad
Gives a permanent 30% bonus to replenishment speed and a 30% bonus to replenishment zone recovery speed. Attackers receive a 60% bonus to the base capture speed. Defenders block the capture of the base for 5 seconds longer, causing damage to the attacking tank. Additionally, defenders can block the capture of the base by driving into the capture circle. The sabotage squad is most effective when used with allied vehicles to attack or defend bases, as well as when frequently using replenishment zones.

Inspiration
Increases the increase in the main specialties of the player's crew and allies by 10% within a radius of 40 meters for 40 seconds. If the vehicle leaves the range of the reserve, Inspiration continues to operate for 10 seconds. Stacks with all existing crew member bonuses, so it works most effectively in combination with premium gear and equipment (for example, Extra Pike and Improved Ventilation).

Allies who are affected by your reserve and deal damage gain experience. If several players include this combat reserve, the first player receives the bonus.

Spy plane
The reconnaissance aircraft monitors a 750-meter zone, which consists of 4 circles with a radius of 150 meters. The reconnaissance flight lasts 15 seconds; all vehicles in this area are detected and remain visible for 20 seconds. The reconnaissance aircraft operates most effectively in areas near the player's vehicle, which is not supported by allied reconnaissance aircraft.

All information about noticed enemies is received only by the player who activated the reserve, but is transmitted to allies within the range of his radio; he also receives experience and credits for damage caused by his allies.

Smoke screen
5 smoke grenades are fired into a specified area of 200 by 50 meters. The smoke screen lasts for 30 seconds; it blocks vision and camouflages vehicles in the specified sector. Vehicles in a smoke screen lose 30% of their vision. A smoke screen is most effective at hiding allies from enemy fire or creating a safe observation position.

The player gains experience when, after using the reserve, an ally's vehicle becomes invisible and causes damage to enemy vehicles.

Airstrike
Activates a bomber that drops 40 bombs over an area of 50 by 30 meters. Vehicles in the airstrike sector receive minor damage and a stun effect for 16 seconds. Use Airstrike against fast moving targets or large groups of enemy vehicles.

For the damage done by this combat reserve, you will receive a small amount of experience and credits. The additional stun effect will also bring you some rewards.

Efficiency values are indicated for maximum level V.

Each class of vehicle has a certain number of slots in the Hangar for combat reserves: one for And , two , three And .

  • Reserves are selected in the Hangar before the battle.
  • Slots for combat reserves are located on the right in the same part of the screen as equipment with regular consumables.
  • Each combat reserve has 5 levels, which can be upgraded using Supply Points earned for progress in the Front Line levels.

Repair and replenishment points

In each square on the map, in addition to the base capture circle, there is a repair and replenishment point.
Having arrived at this point, you can replenish the ammunition, restore the strength of the tank and damaged modules, and also relieve the concussion of the crew members. After the tank is restored to 100%, the repair point becomes inaccessible for 2 minutes.

If the player takes damage while repairing, the recovery point is blocked for 5 minutes.

At the end of the battle, the player will pay the full cost of the strength restored by the repair point, but not more than 100% of the tank’s strength.

Revival in battle

  • At the beginning of the battle, each player on the attacking and defending sides has the opportunity to be revived once in the battle.
  • Every 5 minutes after the start of the battle, each player receives one additional respawn opportunity.
  • Each player can accumulate no more than two revivals.
  • The total number of revivals is not limited.
  • If there are already 12 tanks in a sector, you cannot be reborn in it.

After the tank is destroyed, if there is a possibility of revival, a screen appears on which you can select a vehicle suitable for the battle, a place of revival in any of the zones controlled by the team.

Due to the huge size of the map, another innovation has been added that will help you quickly change direction in battle. This can be useful, for example, when you finished off an opponent on the flank, capturing the last sector of defense, and now you need to quickly move to the other flank to support the onslaught. By pressing the O key (in the English layout it is J), you can go to the vehicle selection mode. Yes, in this case the tank will self-destruct, but sometimes such actions can lead to victory.

Rental cars

All rental vehicles are only available for the Frontline mode and cannot be used in random battles or other game modes.

To participate in battles on the Front Line, the player only needs to have at least one Tier VIII vehicle in the Hangar.

However, for a more comfortable game in the mode, it is recommended to have as many vehicles as possible: after being destroyed in battle, a vehicle is not available for restoration for several minutes. If there are suitable vehicles in the Garage, select another available vehicle and return to the battle after the 30-second countdown during rebirth.

If the Hangar does not have enough or no suitable Tier VIII equipment, you can rent it. Rental equipment will be available for one episode or for all remaining episodes at once.

All rental cars are copies of existing cars with the same characteristics.

Each episode, three cars will be available for rent. A total of 11 cars will be available for rent.

The base rental vehicle for the regime will be a copy of the researchable Soviet medium tank T-44. This tank will be available during all episodes and will not be replaced by another vehicle. The remaining ten rental cars will be copies of existing premium cars. Two rental cars will be available in each episode. After the fifth episode, all rental car pairs will be repeated again.

Rental equipment will be available even if the Hangar already has the original version of the vehicle. Thus, an account can have two identical tanks - T-44 and T-44 LF.
There is no need to rent the same car twice. For example, your account can only have one T34 LF.

The total number of equipment is not limited; Thus, an account can have up to 11 rental tanks.

There are 4 types of rental:

  • Rental for one episode when you rent a car for the first time. In this case, you receive a car along with a crew

This option will be unavailable from episode 6 for the T-44 LF tank and from episode 8 for all other rental vehicles.

  • Weekend offer. Two days before the end of the episode (Saturday and Sunday), if this is the first rental, the car will be available for rental for the remaining two days plus the entire next episode. The total rental period can be 8 or 9 days

This offer is perfect for those who prefer to play on weekends.

HEAVY PREMIUM TANK 800 600 4000
MEDIUM PREMIUM TANK 600 400 2500

Cost at the beginning of the season: with each season, the rental price decreases by 10%. For example, in episode 6, the cost of renting a heavy tank will be 2000 gold.

After the weekly rental period ends, the vehicle will remain in the Hangar, but will not be available for battle. You can remove the rental car from the Hangar or extend the rental. To do this, you need to right-click on the machine and select the desired action from the menu that opens. These operations are also available in the Warehouse (right-click on the machine and select the desired action).

There is an opportunity to extend the rental for a car, even if the rental for this car is not available in the current episode.

The more gold spent, the greater the discount will be given. The discount will be calculated only in gold.

Gold that was not used to receive a discount remains in the account and can be accumulated further to receive further purchases.

Gold in the account that was not used to receive a discount will be lost after the end of the season.

If you want to buy the original version of the Pz. 58 FL, Pz. 58 Mutz will be credited to your account

Friendly fire shutdown

IN game event“Frontline” will be impossible to damage allies.

Valor Mechanics 2019

Upon reaching level 30 of Frontline, there is the opportunity to use a special mechanic of valor.

When using this mechanic, you reset your Frontline level and combat reserve levels and get the opportunity to go from 1st to 30th Frontline level again and earn all the rewards again.

Valor Levels and Progression for the 2019 Season

Using the mechanics of valor, it is possible not only to reset the “Frontline” level, but also to increase the level of valor.

There are ten levels of valor available in total. As you reach each level of valor, you receive rewards including bonds, gold, medals and stripes. Access to degrees of valor opens gradually as you progress through the episodes. The maximum level of valor is limited to the current episode number plus two degrees.

Progress through Frontline levels within one valor level remains unchanged and is not reset

In addition to the main rewards, each valor level brings valor points, which can be exchanged for a reward tank. After reaching the maximum possible level of valor, progress through the Front Line levels stops; you will not be able to pump up to level 29 or 30 again and reset it immediately with the start of a new stage.

Award cars 2019

the fourth vehicle is a Tier IX tank. Its name, type, nation, performance characteristics and other features are classified. You can only get this car if you reach the X level of valor and accumulate the required number of valor points.

Great news, tankers! WOT veterans, please answer, remember the “Front Line” mode? So he's coming back! Wargaming managed to preserve all the traditions and customs of this mode, so fans of this mode have nothing to worry about global changes. And from them this is balancing and corrected visualization.

In addition, the duration of the LF regime will be a whole year! The regime will be divided into a certain number of stages, with an interval of a month between them. The entire tour will last the entire week, thus covering the maximum number of players. And finally, let's get acquainted with the mode in more detail.

Frontline 2019 schedule

The season will open on February 11th at seven o'clock in the morning Moscow time. And it will end on February 18 at four in the morning. Thus, there will be a respite until March, it turns out that every month you can enjoy the “Front Line” mode for a whole week. The full schedule is of course kept secret, but one can guess that the tour will begin on the eleventh of next month, until November. It is in November that this regime ends.

General provisions about Frontline 2019 - overview

Well, perhaps it’s worth introducing you to the main conditions of the “Front Line”. We won’t go into the weeds and details, there’s no point in that, but the main points are worth stating.

Combat missions

Each team will have its own tasks and goals. Some will play offensive tactics, while others will defend their borders. The point is that the attacking team must break through the defense line and capture at least three firing points, and have complete control over them. The defending team must hold the defense along the flanks. The battles will take place over an area of 9 square kilometers, which will be divided into 3 defensive lines.

Overtime mode

Everything is simple here, the function is activated automatically if, within the allotted time, one of the tanks of the attacking team is in the capture zone. According to the rules, extra time can be exceeded by a maximum of 90 seconds. Overtime can be prevented if the capture of a point is disrupted before the end of the countdown. If the offensive team runs out of overtime time and fails to hold the point, they lose.

Revival Mode

Revival is given to the team every 5 minutes that have passed during the battle. The limit of allowed revivals is no more than two at the same time.

Reserves

How many reserves you will receive depends on the class of equipment. It will also be possible to directly use various buns in the form of smoke screens, artillery shelling, etc.

Maintenance

Special repair facilities are scattered around the map. There it will be possible to patch up a wounded crew or tank, as well as replenish ammunition.

What information you need to know about renting Frontline

Most important information First of all, you should know that it is possible to participate in this mode if you have at least one level 8 tank. If you don't have one, unfortunately you won't be able to experience Front Line for yourself. It is recommended to have several eights available, since after destruction the tank will not be able to play for several minutes.

Well, don’t be upset if you haven’t yet managed to upgrade your tank to level 8, the developers have come up with a special opportunity for you – renting a tank. Just remember, such tanks were specially tailored for this mode, and they cannot be used in other game modes.

There will be nothing special about these tanks; they are absolutely identical to other tanks from the research branches. In terms of performance characteristics, the indicators will be exactly the same. It will be possible to rent equipment for one tour or until the end of the entire regime.

For each stage, you will be able to rent 3 tanks, for a total of 11. By default, the T-44 will be found everywhere in this mode. It is not intended to change it to something else. All other tanks will be constantly replaced.

You don’t have to worry about space in the hangar; the slots are included. The best part is that you can rent a tank even if you already have one. Only in this case the letters LF (Front Line) will appear next to the name of the tank. But there is one thing: you cannot rent the same tank twice. This is only for one stage, in other cases it is allowed.

There are 4 rental options, so you choose the option that is most convenient for you.

At this moment, you rent the equipment for the first time, and it arrives in the hangar along with the crew.

Another rental

Or repeated - essentially this is a regular lease extension, just keep in mind that it will cost more than in the first case.

Everything is clear here, the equipment is rented for the time until the game mode ends. What is most noteworthy is that renting a tank for the entire period of the regime will be more economical than extending the lease each time.

Weekend rental

Suitable for many players who are busy with work on weekdays and can devote themselves to WOT on weekends. If you are renting for the first time, the rental period will last until the end of the stage. It turns out that by paying for Saturday and Sunday, you can ride the tank for 9 days.

It is worth noting some nuances that depend on the rental:

  • The price of the tank will decrease by 10% with each stage;
  • Premium tanks are rented with a 100% trained tank crew;
  • The skill level of the crew on the T-44 medium tank depends on the duration of the rental;
  • According to the rules, the crew can be transferred to any tank that is in the hangar.

When does the rental end in the Front Line game mode?

If the rental of a tank has ended, it does not disappear from the hangar, but remains there. Only it will be a useless pile of metal that cannot be used. Here you have two options: extend the lease of the tank or remove it forever. To choose one of these two options, right-click on the technique and select the desired option.

Discounts on purchase and during rental.

Very helpful and nice bonus for players. For example, you skated the LF mode on a premium vehicle, and wanted to buy a regular version of the tank (not for the LF mode). Good news awaits you: you will receive an excellent discount on the purchase of this tank.

What discount you will receive depends on several factors. The most important of them:

  1. How many golds did you spend on renting a tank during the LF regime?
  2. The price of the tank itself that you are going to purchase.

And in order to track this process, the game will have a special counter that shows how much gold you have accumulated that you spent on renting tanks. It will be possible to judge what discount you can expect from it. These savings cannot be spent, this is only for the account of a future discount.

It is worth noting that this counter will work as long as the LF game mode exists. Accruals come in the form of gold, and you can spend them for a discount only when the stage ends. As soon as the “Front Line” mode ends, all savings will be burned and it will no longer be possible to spend them.

Those who performed especially well in battles will receive very pleasant rewards. Even those valor points that you earned during the existence of the LF regime can be exchanged for tanks. There are 4 tanks to choose from, all very good. So, you can exchange valor points for these tanks.

STA-2

A familiar premium medium tank from the Japanese Army. It is characterized by good dynamics and a powerful gun. Equipment for fire support.

WZ-111

And this severe heavyweight of China will definitely please the owner! One of the most armored TTs at its level. Such a monster can snarl alone against a gang of enemies in urban battle conditions.

Emil 1951

A fast, agile Swede with his unique drumming. The technology is completely new, just from a super test. Will currently be provided as a mode reward.

Dark horse

Do you think this is the name of the tank? Well, of course not. This copy is kept strictly secret, we do not know its performance characteristics, but Wargaming will soon introduce this mysterious stranger.

Additional terms

The list shows the ratio of points to reward. To use them, you need to accumulate: 6,10,12 and 15 valor points. And it is important to note one more detail: if you already have STA-2 or WZ-111, you will not be able to use valor points.

But don't worry if you haven't been able to save up for certain tank. You can exchange them for gold or bonds. It is not yet known what exactly the exchange rate will be. Well, in general, it’s worth trying, if you want you can earn two bonus tanks.

At the end there is an important thing, PCs with weak performance will have a hard time digesting this mode. FPS will drop noticeably, so be prepared if you have weak computer. Nevertheless, WG is doing everything to optimize and eliminate this drawback.

After a large-scale update in March, Wargaming did not stop and recently introduced new version games 1.0.1. One of the important innovations was the emergence of an Italian branch, against the backdrop of which the developers announced cooperation with the legendary goalkeeper of Juventus Turin Gianluigi Buffon. However, the more important news, in my opinion, was the test launch of the new game mode"front line".

“Frontline” is a special arcade mode, somewhat reminiscent in gameplay of a competing project War Thunder. I am not very familiar with it, so the WoT innovation was perceived very positively by me. The mode turned out to be interesting, addictive and exciting, not at all like boring 30x30 battles for level 10 vehicles. What is interesting and good about the “front line” battle, how to play it and how it affects performance – I’ll tell you now.

The main features of the “front line” in WoT

Battle in the “front line” mode is intended for only level 8 vehicles. So that all players can evaluate and test new mode, each person was credited with two tanks: the Soviet ST T-44 (similar to the premium vehicle from Rostelecom) and the American TT T32. They are only available in Frontline and cannot be used in other modes.

A truly huge map, with an area approximately 10 times larger than the “random battle” locations. It is divided into 9 sectors containing strategic points - bases and bunkers. Two teams enter the battle, the goal of one of which is to capture the bases and destroy the bunkers before the battle time expires, the second is to prevent this from happening. Captured bases cannot be recaptured; as they are captured, the team moves forward. For each point taken, the team receives additional time.

Also in World mode of Tanks “front line” has an individual progression system. For useful actions on the battlefield, such as causing damage to enemies and destroying them, capturing bases and destroying bunkers, the player is awarded points and his rank increases. The more useful he brings, the higher the rank he will receive and the more bonuses to experience and credits he will receive after the battle.

Unlike a standard battle, which is limited to 15 minutes but lasts about 7 on average, WoT mode The “front line” can drag on for half an hour. After all, after destroying the equipment on the battlefield, the player returns to the hangar and can choose any other suitable tank. This does not happen immediately, you need to wait. The waiting time for the next departure depends on the player's usefulness and his life time on the battlefield.

To avoid getting into the hangar, you can use the equipment recovery points located in each of the squares. Staying on them restores strength indicators, repairs one damaged module and restores the health of one crew member. Also, the stock of shells is replenished by 10% per second.

You can use the repair point no more often than once every 2 minutes, or 10 seconds for each second of recovery, which is done to protect tanks constantly located at the point from immortality.

System of incentives and rewards

Playing in the new Frontline mode, World players of Tanks receive, in addition to experience and credits, other bonuses. Among them are consumables and equipment, bonus points, and combat reserves. The latter can be used to purchase auxiliary resources such as air reconnaissance, shelling, bombardment, smoke screen, inspiration and sabotage squad. Their use allows the player and his allies to gain advantages on the battlefield.

The higher the player’s level in the new mode, the more additional rewards he receives. Among them are first aid kits, repair kits, fire extinguishers, loans, bonds, personal reserves and others. The maximum you can reach is level 30, after which you have the chance to use the “valor mechanic” and start again at level 1 to earn rewards again.

The battle strategy in the “front line” mode is significantly different from the standard “random”. Concentrating on inflicting maximum damage, with a selfish manner of play, may not be the best option even for a very experienced player. The cost of losing a point (or not capturing it) is very high, and this gives the game a special flavor.

  • You should not concentrate on causing damage to the most convenient targets. It is important to take into account the tactical situation in order to prevent the capture/loss of the base. It's better to work on targets that take active action at the most important points.
  • After destroying one of your vehicles, when choosing the next tank, you need to take into account the situation on the battlefield. If you need dynamics to prevent capture, you should take a fast car that will quickly get to your enemies. To capture someone else's base, on the contrary, it is better to go into battle on a well-armored tank, capable of pushing through the flank by assault.
  • It is important to distribute evenly along the flanks, in accordance with the current situation on the map. When going into battle after death, it is better to choose the most dangerous location for revival, where help will not be superfluous.
  • When playing offensively, you should not focus on one flank, forgetting about the others. After all, even if you completely capture the left, right or center, and get to the enemy’s guns, you can lose without having time to destroy them and capture all the bases.

Frontline and WoT performance

The new mode involves playing on a much larger map and allows for a large accumulation of equipment in one place. Naturally, this could not but affect the performance of the game. In a standard battle, on maximum settings graphics quality in FullHD resolution, average FPS indicator on my computer it is around 80-90. In the “front line” the indicators are not at all so optimistic.

In the absence of a significant number of vehicles nearby, the frame rate differs little from “random combat”. But if you get involved in a heated firefight, the frame rate sags. Basically it stays at a quite acceptable level of 50-60 FPS, but sometimes drops of up to 30-40 frames per second occur. It turns out that in the “front line” mode, WoT performance is halved.

The performance hit doesn't have much of an impact on gameplay on fast modern PCs. But if you play on a laptop or an old computer, it can be critical. After all, if you can still play safely at 30 FPS, then 15 FPS is already beyond tolerance, the brakes will be visible to the naked eye.

Conclusion

The new frontline mode in World of Tanks has reignited my interest in the game. Lately I haven’t been playing it very often, since after 5 years the usual “random” has become a little boring. But after seeing Frontline and trying out the mode, I played for three hours straight, not just to try it out and write a review, but simply because it was truly addictive.

So far, “front line” is only being tested, and the game client is not without bugs. So, one day I crashed from the game, something I hadn’t seen before for a long time. In addition, gamers' interest in the mode causes difficulties when entering battle. It is not always possible to connect to the entry queue the first time, and if it does, the waiting time for commands to be generated may take several minutes.

And this is not in the middle of the night on a weekday, but during the evening rush hour, when the audience on the servers is usually the largest. This picture is completely opposite to the waiting time to enter battle in the “random” mode.

An unpleasant feature is the “ceasefire mode”, which currently lasts from 00:00 to 11:00 on all servers. Therefore, you won’t always be able to play in the new mode, which is upsetting.

Despite the existing shortcomings and shortcomings, I found the WoT “front line” mode to be very exciting. I would like the developers to leave it and continue to develop it, eliminating the disadvantages and introducing new advantages.

What do you think about this, do you like the new mode in World of Tanks? What changes would you like to make to it for the best gameplay?
