Fallout 4 harbor far hunter island. Far Harbor - completing the quest "The Great Hunt"

And again, the Sailor offers us a new adventure, for which, according to her, she has been preparing for many years, and due to illness, she certainly cannot be postponed. This time the crazy idea that came to our friend is the destruction of the Red Death. This huge monster lives underwater and comes out to hunt only in thick fog. People think these are just stories of drunken sailors, but still no one goes to sea when the fog thickens. The sailor remembered a story from her childhood - when she was little, her aunt took her swimming, and a thick fog suddenly rose in the sea. Then they saw a beam of frantic light, with red and scarlet flashes, striking to the skies! Frightened, they rushed as fast as they could. It was hard to row, but we still escaped the monster’s claws.

The sailor is eager to put an end to this monster, which has sunk dozens of boats. She can't wait to track down the Red Death and really wants to have a friend next to her - that is, a Survivor. The shipbuilder can no longer pay for the work, because all the caps were spent on repairing the hull, so everything that happens during the Red Death will remain ours. No one has yet managed to emerge alive from a skirmish with a sea monster, but many of the locals saw a red glow from afar. The shipwright offers to go hunting with full ammunition, and to be on the safe side, take a weapon of mass destruction. Perhaps this is the most terrible monster living in the depths of the sea. The sailor warns that compared to this idea, everything else is just a walk in the park. Having gone to the pier to his boat, the Survivor sees a scene - Avery begs his friend Sailor to come to her senses and not go towards death, dragging us along with her. The hunt for the Red Death attracts the most desperate and has already cost the lives of many men and women.

Neither intimidation nor attempts at persuasion work, and together with the Sailor we go to the island of the Red Death. Forward to adventure, the great hunt has begun!

Having arrived at the destination, the Sailor will be more agile and will be waiting for us on the shore, and ahead you can see red flashes and the “monstrous beast” that creates them.

After talking with our friend, the huntress will be shocked by what she sees, and all we can do is cheer her up and decide what we will say to the resident of Far Harbor. In any case, we came here with one goal - to deal with the Red Death; unfortunately, no other options were given.

For help in destroying the “monster”, the Sailor will give the Survivor the “Legend of the Harbor” costume.

Hidden in the forest of Huntress Island, shrouded in fog, stands Hunter's Estate. Once the home of the reclusive but brilliant professor Hunter, the estate had been abandoned since his sudden, unexplained death in 1877; now it is known only to the wolves who call the forest their home. Few people know what terrible secret the estate keeps.

Back at the Far Harbor docks, a ghoul adventurer named Ronald arrived with a wooden chest. He tried shooting at it, blowing it up, using the best burglars in the world, but nothing could open it. Now, after reading 19th-century correspondence describing a "locked box", he believes the secret to unlocking the box can be found in the halls of Hunter's estate. An unimportant fighter, Ronald is looking for a partner to help him uncover a secret. But some secrets may be best forgotten...

This mod expands ENT Fallout universe concerning "Ag-Qualtota", references to which can be found in The Dunwich Building (Fallout 3) and The Dunwich Drillers (Fallout 4). The mod will add a couple of hours of new content that will take you throughout the Island.

Key Features:

  • - Ten main quests, although you can only play nine in one playthrough; there are different end quests depending on who you're with.
  • - Six types of side quests once the main story is completed, although you'll only be able to access four in a single playthrough.
  • - Ronald can be either a follower or a unique settler. He is not a controlled companion, although that means you can have him alongside vanilla companions.
  • - Explore the estate. As you progress through the mod's story, more parts of the estate will become available to you. As you explore, you can uncover much of the life of the reclusive Professor Hunter.
  • - Multiple endings. The mod has two main endings, each with a different set of side quests at the end and a different perk as a reward.
  • - There are some puzzles in the mod. If you get stuck, talk to Ronald. He will give you hints on how to solve the puzzles, and if you question him well, he will give you the solution.

Launching the mod:
You must complete at least the first conversation with Avery and be directed to speak with Longfellow before you can start this mod. If you haven't disabled the fog capacitors, you can find Ronald in Far Harbor. If you destroyed Far Harbor you can still play the mod, in which case Ronald can be found in a small camp on the road east of the Core.

Update: 1.6

  • - Ronald is now the team leader.
  • - Made changes to scenes to reduce the likelihood of them not playing (increased the distance the player is allowed to move away from the actors).

Update: 1.5

  • - Loyalty level requirements have been reduced compared to the previous update.

Update: 1.3

  • - Added a small addition to the ending. If you side with Ag-Qualthoth at the end of the mod and complete enough of his quests to earn maximum loyalty, he will keep the promise he made to you in the vision...

Addition Far Harbor really has a large scale, and those who have already tried new game, can easily confirm the developers’ statements about the gigantic territories and the amount of content that appeared with the release of this DLC. In Far Harbor you can find large number various items. Most attention players, of course, pay attention to weapons and armor, since these are the types of equipment that help us deal with numerous opponents faster and easier. In this guide, we'll look at ways to obtain various protective suits and armor. Some of them are not very difficult to obtain, but there are also some samples that you will have to go through a whole series of tests to obtain. We should not forget that different armor has different purposes. So, as you travel around a new island, you will find costumes that will give you an increase in characteristics, others will give you good protection from radiation, which you will constantly have to deal with.

Armor set Marine Corps

This armor is a completely new set that you can get in new territories. The armor has excellent characteristics that will satisfy the needs of most players. In addition, it is worth noting that there are several options for kits. The simplest armor is called "Marine Zealot Armor". The improved version is called "Marine Assault Armor". In addition, there is a legendary set. It can be found under the name “Marine Corps Reconnaissance Armor”. You can purchase armor from merchants, make it at a workbench, or obtain it by completing a quest. In any case, the end result will be worth the effort.

Zealot Marine Armor

Naturally, we will start with the basic version, since obtaining it will not take too much time, and starting right away with the legendary set is still not very correct. Once in new territories, you will complete tasks of the main storyline, which sooner or later will lead you to meet the “Children of the Atom” faction. You will have the option to join this faction permanently or become a temporary member. Once you pass the test, you will be able to talk to the faction's merchants. You need to find Brother Kane. It is he who will sell you the “Zealot Marine Armor”. You should look for it on the second floor, which can be reached using the stairs at the end of the main corridor. It's worth noting that Brother Kane will sell you all the items in the set, with the exception of the helmet. You can replace it with the “Marine Corps Tactical Helmet” by purchasing it from the same merchant.

Marine assault armor

Now let's move on to getting the upgraded kit. This time you won't have to waste your precious caps by giving them away to a greedy merchant. As you progress through the main quest, you will gain access to the Find Your Place mission. You will be required to hack Faraday's terminal. Having acquired the necessary program, you have to get to the Core. More specifically, to the control room, access to which is located at the very top of the headquarters of the Children of the Atom faction. Once you've completed five puzzles, you'll be tasked with finding three armor containers. Now open your Pip-Boy and make this quest active. After this, the map will show the places where you can find containers.

Your first destination will be Rayburn. Walk along the coast, which is located in the northwestern part of the island. Once you reach this location, open the map and locate the marker. Proceed there and find a container that contains two pieces of the kit: a helmet and a chest. Note that in this area it is best to use a Hazmat suit, which will help you cope with radiation.

The next place to visit will be the base of the Children of Atom faction. Take advantage fast movement to get to it faster. Now head southwest, where the second container will be located. When you reach the shore, jump into the water and swim to the boat. There you will find what you were looking for. In the container, two more pieces of “Marine Corps Assault Armor” will be waiting for you, and more specifically, armor for the right and left legs.

Our final destination is the Grand Harbor Hotel. Find it on your map and go there. Now your task is to find the key that will open access to the nuclear submarine. Please note that this submarine is located in the Core location, so go there immediately after finding the key. Having arrived at this location, go to the marker on the map. The container that contains the arm armor will lie at the bottom. Reach him and the armor is yours.

Marine Corps reconnaissance armor

So we got to the most elite version of the Marine Corps armor. You can become the owner of most of the Marine Corps Reconnaissance Armor set by spending a certain amount of money at various merchants.

You can buy the helmet from the Brooks merchant, who is located in Far Harbor. By equipping your character with this armor, you will improve his Dexterity and Perception stats.

Torso armor is purchased from Koga in Acadia. This part of the kit will help your hero take less damage when he stands in one place and does not move.

For armor for the right hand, which will improve your movement speed, you will have to run to Sister May, who is located at the base of the Children of the Atom faction.

Another part of the set, namely the armor for the left hand, is available for purchase from the merchant Brother Kane, who is located in the same building as Sister May. The bonus of this armor is that it slows down time in battle when your character has less than twenty percent health left.

Rescue suit

The underwater suit is a very useful item, as it will help you better explore new territories, as well as expand your armor collection with new models. How to get it? You will be required to complete a series of tasks called “The Changing Tide”. It is worth noting that completing this chain will take you a lot of time, so be prepared for a long adventure. After completing all quests, you will receive this costume. It will allow you to be under water and not think about your breathing reserve. In addition, the Rescue Suit will protect you from radiation.

Now let's take a closer look at completing the above series of tasks. You will need to help the following characters in Far Harbor: Little Bertha, Mitch, Captain Avery and the sailor. It is worth noting that completing these tasks will not only allow you to become the owner of the suit, but will also open up two new settlements. To begin this series of tasks, you will need to complete several others. First, complete the quest “Far From Home.” Having received and started execution next task, go to Captain Avery, who will give you the quest “Life on the Edge”. It involves fulfilling three points. The first of them is helping the sailor, the second is helping Cassie Dalton, and finally the third is helping the citizens of Far Harbor. The sailor and Cassie will give you additional tasks, after completing which you will receive another quest called “Rite of Passage”. Completing this quest will complete the Changing Tide chain.

Marine wetsuit

"Marine Corps Wetsuit" can be obtained in different ways. In the early stages of the game, you will have the opportunity to purchase it from the merchant Brother Kane, who is located in the main building of the Children of the Atom faction. But you will most likely like the second method, since it does not involve a purchase. While completing the main quest chain, you will have to solve several puzzles. When you do this, then start looking for containers with armor that are underwater near the west coast. Before you do this, make sure you have a supply of Rad-X tablets to help you cope with radiation. Get to the containers and pick up your new suit.

Children of Atom Clothes

After completing the necessary quest and joining the Children of Atom faction, you will receive these clothes.

Fishing costume

In the new addition, you can become the owner of several fishing suits. You can purchase them from a merchant named Brooks. It is located in Far Harbor. In addition, these costumes are sold by other merchants.

Docker suit

This suit is also sold by Brooks of Far Harbor. It is inexpensive - only fifteen caps. Wearing this clothing on your character will not protect him from physical damage or radiation, however, it will increase energy resistance by ten percent.

Captain's cap

To get this hat, start completing the mission "Life on the Edge", during which you will meet Teddy Wright. He will give you a quest, for which you will receive a reward in the form of a captain's hat.

Inquisitor's Helm

You can get this helmet in the following way. First, go and complete the Witch Hunt quest. You will need to find a note for Albert that is in a locked chest. You can find the key to it in the next room. Carefully search the place near the bench, where the key will be waiting for you. Now you should go back to To the High Confessor and give him the message. During the dialogue with him, do not lie, otherwise you will not get the helmet.

Hunters clothing

You will meet many hunters on the island. Everything is simple here: kill hunters and get equipment.

T-51 power armor

There was also an addition power armor. You can find the armor drawing at the factory, which is located in the south-central part of the island.
