Telegraf.by is a new information portal of the Bynet.

The Telegraph postal service began operating in beta mode on August 11, 2005. Users are offered a choice of three domains to register an email account - telegraf.by, biz.by and me.by. Each person who opens their mailbox on one of these domains is provided with 2 GB of disk space. This is 100 times the capacity of the free box on Tut.by.

However, it is too early to speak with confidence about the success of the undertaking, because The testing process of the mail service has not yet been completed and complaints from users of the service periodically appear online.

And yet, despite a number of problems, Telegraph has a chance to become one of the most significant Belarusian IT projects in recent years. Proof of these words can be the recently concluded agreement between telegraf.by and one of the five largest Belarusian Internet resources - Date.by. Under this agreement, Date.by transferred its mailboxes to the Telegraph server.

According to the latest data, the number of registered mailboxes on the telegraf.by domains for 3 autumn months of 2005 exceeded 15 thousand.

Onliner.by is expanding its presence on Telegram. This messenger is very convenient in terms of content delivery: no algorithmic feed, only a chronology of the most important news and interesting observations. We scratched our heads, did the math and realized that we already have five channels! And they all have their own themes and characteristics, but not all of them are known to our readers. Let's get acquainted.

"Auto.Onliner.by"

The guys from our auto section don’t just publish links to materials from the site, but try to dilute them with GIFs of accidents and funny car situations, photographs from the streets of our city and teasers of various events. A lot of information appears more quickly first in their Telegram channel, and then on the website.

"Some kind of game"

This is not a channel, this is a valve through which the host of our monthly selection of the best memes and videos lets off steam. If the latter on the site mainly includes memes that set trends on the Internet for a month, then “Game” receives pictures, gifs and videos that cannot be particularly tied to any trend. But this doesn’t make them any worse, and you still want to show them to someone.

"Catalogue Onliner.by"

The guys who work on our catalog also have something to say and show. Seriously, the Telegram directory could be interesting. They regularly organize branded merchandise giveaways on their channel and share interesting historical facts, inform about store promotions and arrange interesting competitions. Did you know, for example, that a faucet almost like that of Louis XIV can be bought for only 70 rubles? You're shocked!

Telegram is the first messenger to feature “smart” bots. And now there are hundreds of useful services on the site. the site has selected eight bots that can be useful for Belarusians, from currency exchange rates to translators.

What is Telegram? This is a messenger for smartphones and other devices that allows you to exchange text messages and media files. The number of its users exceeds one hundred million people. The founder of the project is Pavel Durov, known as the creator social network"VKontakte".

What kind of bots? Bots are automated “interlocutors” that can interact with external services and respond to user requests. They act like mobile applications, with an important difference - to work with them you do not need to install anything and clutter up the smartphone’s memory.

BYRKI

One of the most convenient bot-currency rate calculators. You can enter the amount in Belarusian rubles and find out how much it is in US dollars, euros and Russian rubles at the National Bank exchange rate. It works the other way around - the main thing is to indicate the currency next to the number. The bot will “understand” the “$” sign, the word “dollar”, and less official names like “bucks” or “rubas”.

Belposhta

A useful service for those who are waiting for parcels in Belarus. You can enter the track number and see full story departures.

BYNgo

A bot for the Webpay service that allows you to pay for mobile communications, internet, traffic police fines or top up your e-wallet. It’s convenient to pay through the bot from your mobile phone: instead of small fields, there are messages here.

GomelTrans

The service only works in Gomel, but it does it perfectly. This is a bot for those who stand at a bus stop and wait for the bus. You select a stop, route number and direction - and the service shows how many minutes you have left to wait.

Interception

Bot of the Interception project. True, it only works in one direction: you can inform other drivers about a problem on the road. After verification by the moderator, the message will appear in the project feeds. You can talk about traffic rules, a drunk driver, a broken traffic light, as well as a found or lost license plate.

BelarusAuto

Another service for drivers. There are several useful functions here: you can find out about queues at the border and find the nearest service station, car wash or gas station. You can also subscribe to messages about photographic recordings of your violations - for this you will need your last name and car number.

Perakladnik Belazar

One of the most complete Belarusian-Russian dictionaries is now also a bot. It's simple: write a word in Russian, get an answer in Belarusian. IN reverse side works too.

Kartoteka

A service for those who work with legal entities: based on the name of the counterparty, the bot will tell you the UNP, registration date and registration address.

Weatherman

This service works not only in Belarus, but is perfect for our cities. Enter the city and the bot tells you about the weather for today and three days in advance. There is also a detailed forecast with humidity and pressure, as well as an hourly forecast.

National Geographic Belarus

Automatically sends beautiful photographs from different parts of Belarus - here are city landscapes, nature, and ancient churches. This bot has nothing to do with the famous publication about geography.
