The test client that we all (or almost all) were waiting for has been released!!
Today's update is available in the new Dota 2 Test build.
Anyone who has access to Dota 2 can download Dota 2 Test from the library Steam games. Now, instead of updating the main Dota 2 client, we will first update test version and carefully monitor the most important bugs in it.

That is, if you want to play on a regular client without various critical bugs and shortcomings, run DOTA 2 as before. If you want to quickly try out the latest changes, run DOTA 2 test.
If we draw an analogy with browsers, then DOTA 2 test is a nightly build, and DOTA 2 is a regular one.
Please note that the number of slots on the servers is not enough for everyone, so we will play in order. Searching for a game in DOTA 2 test can last 10-20 minutes.

The test version appeared almost simultaneously with the main clients of the game. It serves, first of all, to continue the protracted beta test, that is, all innovations first appear in the test version, and only then are transferred to the main client, so the Dota 2 Test may be of interest not only to testers directly, but also to simply curious people, who want to come in and be the first to see what we are waiting for in the near future.
How to install Dota 2 Test
Installing the test version is done in the same way as installing the main client. The first thing we need is to launch Steam and log in with your username or password. Next, in Steam, in the search bar located in the upper right corner, enter “dota” and there will be the same toy that we plan to install on our computer. Accordingly, we open it and install it. All we need to do is wait for the download and installation, after which the game will appear in our library.
How to run Dota 2 test
If you mainly use created shortcuts rather than searching for games on Steam, launching test Dota can be quite problematic, although the operation is extremely simple. All that is required of each of you is to go to Steam, namely the “Library” section. Click and look on the left for a list of games installed in our client.
