Classes were organized and conducted in the following forms:

The fairytale plot includes 2-3 games, but with a whole range of game tasks and exercises for each. We tried to be creative and adapt famous fairy tales. Such classes were suitable at the initial stages of familiarization with Voskobovich’s games.

Option 2 Combined classes. They consist of a large number of games (at an older age, their number can reach up to 5-6 games), but with a small set of game tasks, exercises and intellectual tasks for each. Such activities are like a Christmas tree. The role of the Christmas tree is played by a fairytale beginning, a fragment of a story, a story, and the Christmas tree decorations are educational games. We pay great attention to organizing and conducting joint gaming cognitive activities. When organizing joint activities, we create conditions for the integration of various games: for example, theatrical and mathematical. This option for conducting joint activities is the most effective, since it allows you to set developmental and educational goals, while the children simply continue to play.

We carried out work with children to familiarize themselves with the games of V.V. Voskobovich in stages. And the previous work was an activity - a trip to the fabulous Purple Forest and getting to know its characters (Little Geo, Meter the Raven, Yuk the Spider, Magnolik, etc.). With the help of these characters, children were gradually introduced to a variety of games. By including educational games and developmental tasks in a single game plot of “Legends of the Violet Forest,” they reduced the excessive didactic nature of the lessons and contributed to the best formation of cognitive activity in children. At the third stage of training, we used all the games already familiar to children, but we paid great attention to the development of creativity and independence. They strove to ensure that children, without the help of an adult, invent game tasks and exercises, propose new solutions to problems, invent and construct object forms, and draw up diagrams for them. To this end, we created a creative atmosphere in the group, encouraged and supported children's initiatives, and considered any suggestions from children.

To systematize the material used, a catalog of Voskobovich’s games was created, which includes a description of the game, developing the essence of the games, methodological recommendations, selection of games and exercises by age.

Using the Fairytale Mazes Game technology, we got good results. Children quickly mastered the number series and are able to compare objects, finding more and less than a given one (thanks to “Math Baskets”, “Geocont”, “Game Square”). It is also surprising that children very quickly remember geometric shapes, easily compare them with surrounding objects, depict them with the help of multi-colored ropes on the Carpet, cobwebs on the Geokont and fold them out of the Magic Square.

High-quality implementation of Voskobovich’s games is impossible without determining the level of development of children. Diagnosis is carried out according to the following criteria: sensory abilities, attention, elements of logic, creative thinking, memory, speech, imagination. The diagnostic results showed that the positive dynamics of the level of development on average per year is 3.6%, the development of sensory abilities, memory, and elements of logical thinking is quite intensive.
