Kyle Schwartz. ZfreeK: “Kyle’s kick didn’t really affect our relationship

Twin Peaks creators David Lynch and Mark Frost met in 1986 while working on a Marilyn Monroe biopic commissioned by Warner Bros., which ultimately never materialized. Frost already had the revolutionary series “Hill Street Blues” under his belt, so he wanted to drag the director of “Eraserhead” and “Blue Velvet” onto television. After the failure of Dune and the bankruptcy of Dino De Laurentiis's studio in 1988, Lynch had nothing to lose, so he quickly agreed. Lynch and Frost began to probe the television landscape and meet with television bosses. To the director of NBC, for example, they tried to sell the idea of the series “Lemurians” about an FBI agent who, with the help of various gadgets, was looking for the inhabitants of the ancient sunken continent of Lemuria. Then completely different images were attached to the idea with the FBI agent: a small town, the murder of a girl and a mysterious forest. A few months later they stopped by the ABC office with ready-made script pilot under the working title "Northwest Passage", which was later renamed "Twin Peaks".

The soundtrack was invented before filming

Lynch asked his regular composer Angelo Badalamenti to write the theme song for the series before a single frame had been filmed. Working on a famous composition "Laura Palmer's Theme" was structured something like this: Lynch spoke out loud various visual images in the spirit of Twin Peaks, and Badalamenti, sitting next to him at the synthesizer, intuitively selected chords for this verbal set of metaphors from the director. In fact, many other soundtracks for Lynch’s films were composed in this way.

William Burroughs and Isabella Rossellini were supposed to star in the series

As a nod to the work of William Burroughs, Lynch planned to cast the writer in a small role as the brother of the mayor of Twin Peaks, who, we recall, was the publisher of a local newspaper, had an affair with a young nymphet and died while having sex with her - but something didn’t work out in the end . There were other casting inconsistencies. For example, Blue Velvet star Isabella Rossellini was planned to play the role of the mysterious Jocelyn Packard, so in the original script this heroine was not Chinese at all, but Italian. Josie changed her nationality when The Last Emperor star Joan Chen was hired to replace Rossellini.

Spirit Bob materialized on set

The appearance of an evil spirit named Bob in the plot was the result of confusion on the set. Actor Frank Silva, although he had a specific appearance, was initially a simple worker of the film crew, in particular, he was responsible for the props in Laura Palmer's house. While filming a scene from the pilot where Laura's mother is haunted by visions, Silva accidentally appeared in the reflection of a mirror. Lynch noticed this, but did not reshoot it, and on the fly added to the script the infernal maniac Bob, who appears in the mirrors, absorbs the soul and drags him into the Black Lodge. He was portrayed by former worker Frank Silva. So the spontaneous touch significantly influenced the mythology of Twin Peaks. However, fans of the series, prone to mystification, do not believe in coincidences and explain all this by the intervention of otherworldly forces: it is no coincidence that Frank Silva and the actor who played the role of the dwarf from the Red Room were born on the same day, Halloween.

Even the actors didn't know the ending

The question “Who killed Laura Palmer?” drove the world crazy, viewers pestered the channel's management, crew and actors, but in fact no one knew the answer to this question - Lynch and Frost hid the name of the real killer from everyone until the very end. Even when, under pressure, they finally had to film an episode where everything secret became clear, they kept the solution in the strictest secrecy until the broadcast. Surprisingly, neither the actors, nor the TV bosses, nor anyone else knew the ending until it was shown on TV. To divert attention, Lynch and Frost slipped the editors scripts with a false ending, and the explanatory murder scene was specially filmed in three versions: first, the heroine was killed by Benjamin Horne, then by Leland Palmer and, finally, by Bob.

Gorbachev tried to find out through Bush Sr. who killed Laura Palmer

One of the members of the script group told an incredible story: even Mikhail Gorbachev tried to find out the answer to the ill-fated question about the murder of Laura Palmer. He asked American President George H. W. Bush to find out this, he was friends with the financier from the television company, the financier called the script office, and the office called Lynch. True, even the top officials failed to get an intelligible answer from him.

Elizabeth II traded McCartney's concert for an episode of Twin Peaks

Composer Angelo Badalamenti told another funny story about high-status Twin Peaks fans. During the peak of the series' popularity, Badalamenti met Paul McCartney, who asked him to work his magic on the arrangement of a new song. In passing, McCartney told how Twin Peaks once prevented him from performing in front of the Queen herself. To celebrate the birthday of Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace, McCartney specially composed a forty-minute program - however, when Sir was about to go on stage, the Queen apologized and said that she would miss his performance: “Mr. McCartney, I apologize, but I cannot stay. It's five minutes to eight now. I have to go up and watch Twin Peaks.

The second season was supposed to be directed by Steven Spielberg

The producers had plans for the opening episode of the second season of Twin Peaks to be directed by Steven Spielberg, who had become a big fan of the first. However, when Frost brought this idea to Lynch, who was busy producing Wild at Heart, he resisted and said that he wanted to direct this episode himself, and Spielberg could be assigned any episode at the end of the season. As a result, Spielberg left to make his next film.

Lynch had no involvement in the second season's turning point

After the topic of the murder of Laura Palmer was closed, viewers did not understand why they should continue watching the series, Lynch did not get in touch, and the writers racked their brains for new stories that could revive Twin Peaks. Narratively, this was a major turning point that would take the series in a new direction. Screenwriter Trisha Brock, who wrote the next episode after the Laura Palmer case was closed, claims that she never met Lynch or asked him for help. Episode director Tina Rathbourne also reveals that neither Frost nor Lynch were in control of the show at that point. It was during this period that “Twin Peaks” began to be in a fever: Cooper’s badge was taken away, Major Briggs was dragged into the White Lodge, and David Duchovny appeared in the plot in a female guise.

Kyle MacLachlan bans Audrey and Agent Cooper from dating

In the second season, the authors of the series planned to develop the relationship between Agent Cooper and Audrey into a full-fledged love line. But Kyle MacLachlan, who plays Cooper, opposed this because he believed that his character was too exemplary and correct for romances with schoolgirls. However, he did not oppose Cooper's romance with the new heroine played by Heather Graham. However, there is an opinion that in fact the actor was put under pressure by Lara Flynn Boyle (she played Donna), who was dating McLachlan at the time and was so jealous of him for Sherilyn Fenn (she played Audrey) that she did not allow this plot to be developed.

All directors had cameos

In addition to David Lynch himself, who played the brilliant role of the hearing-impaired boss of Agent Cooper, its other creators also appeared in the series. For example, Mark Frost made a small cameo as a reporter in the scene in the ashes of the sawmill. Director Leslie Linka Glatter, who directed several episodes of Twin Peaks, appeared in the frame as a hunchbacked maid in the One-Eyed Jack brothel. This directorial exit came as a surprise to the entire film crew; moreover, not everyone still knows who was hiding behind the appearance of the hunchback.

Japanese actor Fumio Yamaguchi was not actually there

Another prank with an unrecognizable transformation occurred on the set of the second season, when actress Piper Laurie (she played Catherine Martell) pretended to be the powerful Japanese Toyamura. To maintain secrecy, none of the other actors knew that Laurie was hiding under the mustache, makeup and dark glasses. The actress walked around the set in makeup and successfully pretended to be a famous actor from Japan. Even the release notes for the episode stated that a certain Fumio Yamaguchi was starring as the mysterious Mr. Toyamura.

The Horn Brothers Mystery and Fincher's Sister

It still remains a mystery who played the little Horn brothers in the flashbacks of the second season. None of the reports contained reliable information, and the search for any clues yielded no results. We only know that the dancing girl from the Horns’ childhood memories was played by director David Fincher’s younger sister, Emily Fincher.

Nepotism

In the series you can find many funny family ties. Windom Earle's first victim, who was packed into a huge chess piece, played by Kyle MacLachlan's brother, Craig MacLachlan. Miguel Ferrer, who plays Agent Rosenfield, is the son of actor Jose Ferrer and cousin of George Clooney. The parents of the famous actress Zooey Deschanel took an active part in the series: father Caleb Deschanel was a director, mother Mary Jo Deschanel played Donna's mother. By the way, Donna's father was played by Mark Frost's father, Warren Frost. Both official books from the Twin Peaks universe were written by relatives of the showrunners of the series: The Secret Diary of Laura Palmer was created by Lynch's daughter, Jennifer Lynch, and Memoirs of FBI Special Agent Dale Cooper was written by Mark Frost's brother, Scott Frost.

Participant compLexity Gaming Zakari "Zfreek" Freedman spoke in an interview about his relationship with his brother after his exclusion from the team, the problems of the North American scene, the reasons for Techies' zero win rate and much more. Zfreek also explained why David "Moo" Hull became the captain of the team, and explained why he rarely gives interviews.

— For a long time you tried to build a team around you and your brother Kyle. Why did you decide to abandon this idea?

“I don’t really want to talk too much about the background to this decision. Sometimes such decisions are made when you have been playing together for a very long time. The only players whose story is similar to me and Kyle are Tal Fly Aizik and Johan n0tail Sundstein. They also played together for years, even with HoN. And somehow a moment came in Dota when they had to split up.

— Do you hope that someday you will play together again?

- Well, I don’t even know.

— Did this affect your relationship with your brother?

- Not really. He's still the same guy, he's still my brother. We still see each other often family holidays and fees. We just don't play together anymore.

— Why did Moo become the team captain? Did you want to take this role?

“He was just the person who wanted it most.” I never aspired to this. I rather wanted to give strength own game than coordinating the team's movements. I don't think Chessie or Limmp wanted or could take on this role due to their position. The only option was that Moo wanted to do it. Well, or look for someone to play the role of captain instead of Kyle.

— Have you already felt the difference between Captain Kyle and Captain David?

— Kyle captained for years. He talks a lot more about the position of the game. Moo suffers from having to play a core role. In the first 10 minutes of the game, it is important for captains to keep an eye on what is happening on the map and tell their team what to do. Support captains do very little laning. Basically they observe what happens here and there. “I have a ward, let me put it here, here you two, switch lines.” This is much more difficult to do from the fourth position. And these small details are more often lost.

— Isn’t there a problem that Moo has to coordinate from the third position?

- We talked about this. This is the kind of problem that forces the whole team to get together and make decisions together, and not wait for someone else to make it for you. And it all came down to the question of whether we could do it, and not to change the captain.

— You are a very rare guest at an interview. Did you avoid communicating with journalists or did it just happen that way?

- No, I didn’t try to avoid anything. Previously, I was simply not called for an interview. I just came with the team for an interview, but no one was interested in me.

“We know a lot about your brother, but we know practically nothing about you.” What is your main difference from each other?

— To put it as simply as possible, he is an extrovert, and I am an introvert. In all other respects, we are mostly the same. We grew up in the same place, we lived together almost all our lives. We played the same games and shared hobbies. We are not so different, he is just easier to climb.

— People consider you one of the most underrated position 4 players on the scene. Have you received invitations from other teams or regions?

“I don’t think I’m underestimated.” Just because everyone keeps saying it. How can you be underestimated if people say so? I haven't received invitations to other teams for a very long time. Maybe because they connected me so closely with Kyle. So it was more likely that they came to us than I could go somewhere.

— If you had the opportunity to go and play in another region, which region would you choose?

— Probably Southeast Asia, because they speak English. It would be difficult to communicate with a team from another region. Maybe only Europe. But in Asia I like the weather better and I have more friends there. I would also probably go there. China and the CIS are not easy, the local languages are very complex.

— What if we remove the factor of the language barrier?

— I’ll still choose Southeast Asia. Cheap, great weather. In general, a very pleasant place: a lot good teams and high competition.

— There is an opinion that the American region is not able to survive without European players. Do you agree with this?

- I don’t think this is a completely wrong opinion. If we didn't have European players, there would be an all-star team in America. We would have to combine one or two existing casts. But to put together a team that is strong enough in terms of qualifying, with five teams sharing slots, you will most likely have to find European players.

The main problem with American pubs is constantly tweeted. We have semi-professional players who come into the game and just feed mid. In Europe, semi-professional players, if you take the most famous ones like Topson and Gorgc, really give it their all. They are trying to become stronger, trying to find a suitable way to the stage. And in America, people in this position simply feed mid. They just don't care. They don't try. So the player base has not changed for a long time.

— There have been many changes in the game lately, which also affected the heroes of your role. Which characters are the most effective right now and why?

— It seems to me that now, in order to be effective in the fourth position, you need to help your offlaner. It is almost impossible to stand on a difficult lane alone. You need to be able to help him somehow. This is why Earth Spirit is not as popular as it used to be. He is weak in lane, but strong in ganks. Unless you're playing something like Dark Seer, it's not very useful in a 2v3 situation. So now people have started to pick heroes like Slardar, who can seriously fight the enemy carry. Or Night Stalker and Nature's Prophet, for example.

— What can you say about Techies? You used this hero twice, but not very successfully.

— I don’t think it’s worth taking him in the first stage. We did this simply because we wanted to play Techies. We used it in training and it clearly worked better there than in official matches. It takes time for him to become useful in the game. He can crush a difficult lane, but he needs the level to pull off pranks like IceIceIce on stream. He quickly pushes the lane and places mines everywhere. And now you can't approach her. This is the main idea. But if you fail to reach this point and get to the other half of the map, this hero is very bad.

— Are any changes needed to the hero or the game as a whole for Techies to be effective?

“It’s just hard to make it work.” There will always be some hero who counters him. Some hero with illusions, heroes with summoned creatures. Creeps from the dominator that constantly run around the map. And all this makes the hero worse and weaker.

— What distinguishes a good fourth position player from a bad one?

“It’s probably a matter of decision making.” When you play Sand King or Leshrac, you need to know when to push lanes, farm and be greedy, and when to try to get kills, follow your team and create pressure on the map. It's very similar to the carry role, where you have to make similar decisions. And successful players in the fourth position do it more successfully.

- Do you consider yourself good player?

- I'm probably too greedy for that.

— Your next test is the open qualifiers for The International?

- Yes, we have nothing to do for about 3 months. But in open qualifications almost all teams. Only OpTic Gaming, Immortals and probably Blue Pikachu remained in the regional qualifiers.

— Will you need a little luck in qualifying?

- No! Everything will be fine without that.

When the girl turned fifteen, Samantha died in a car accident. And the grandmother remained the only person close to Fabi on earth.

The loss of her mother shattered her little world into thousands of small pieces. Hoping to put it back together again, Martha Ray surrounded her granddaughter with care and love. Meeting Kyle Blackburn helped Fabiana heal her still bleeding wounds.

The young people found kindred spirits in each other. Kyle spent most of his days at Low Place. The three of them, together with Martha, drank tea on the terrace, admiring the sunset, listened to mockingbirds and talked, talked about everything in the world.

Kyle was helping an elderly woman in the garden - it turned out that he was quite knowledgeable about growing dahlias. Together with Fabi, they often disappeared on the lakes, swam, sunbathed, and rode on catamarans. They climbed all over the surrounding area, and there was not a single path, not a single path left in the mountains that the young adventurers did not know. They shared almost everything with each other: their dreams, hopes, plans.

Kyle openly admired his older brother. At that time, almost seven years had passed since the Blackburn brothers lost their parents and faced the difficult problem of managing a huge mansion. Inheritance taxes, plus Kyle's tuition fees and the monthly salaries of the people who work at Edelfly, weighed heavily on the shoulders of the young man who had just graduated as an architect. From Kyle, Fabi learned that many antiques and paintings had to be sold. Matthew Blackburn put it all on the line when he decided to buy up several nearby houses to convert them into bungalows and open a sort of tourist resort in Lakeside.

Fortunately, the risk paid off; the place was loved by tourists who did not skimp on shelling out huge amounts of money for a vacation on the picturesque lakes. Things quickly went uphill for Matthew Blackburn. The only fly in the ointment of the energetic entrepreneur was his younger brother, who categorically refused to take part in the family business.

Kyle Blackburn was more interested in the art of photography. After graduating from college, he stayed in Sydney, where he got a job at the prestigious art studio of Lawrence Gordon Tilly, a very famous master of photography. And although Fabi had nothing to do with her friend’s decision, Matthew did not hide the fact that he believed that she was a bad influence on Kyle. He was not even convinced by his brother’s assurances that nothing in the world would force him to connect his future profession with tourism and the service sector.

But the new work fully corresponded to the artistic nature of Kyle Blackburn. Lawrence Gordon Tilly, charming, witty old man, was known as an ace in his field and treated every student in a fatherly manner. He knew absolutely everything about the photography business, and for Kyle, working in the studio of the “outstanding professional of the twentieth century” was a real gift of fate. The aspiring photographer rented an apartment with a friend in one of the prestigious areas of the capital, did what he loved, and traveled a lot. Besides, he had Fabi. What else does a person need to be happy?

“His Majesty’s blessing,” she quipped.

Why don't you love my brother? - Kyle asked, putting his arm around her shoulders. - Well, admit it. We don't have secrets from each other, right? What kind of black cat ran between you?

And one day Fabi couldn’t stand it and laid out Kayla, like she once did in Edelfly, stopping near open door to the kitchen to pet the cat, she overheard Matthew lecturing his younger brother.

He called me a fidgety girl! He said that I was not a match for you and advised you to stay away from me.

Kyle laughed.

Matt was just worried that my entire social circle was centered around you.

“I heard what I heard,” Fabi pouted.

Matthew Blackburn considers her an unscrupulous girl only because there are men among her friends, although he himself does not lead a monastic lifestyle. In any case, Fabi noticed the looks women gave Matthew Blackburn, and she strongly doubted that he was trying to resist them. And why on earth? He is not married, he has no obligations to anyone. Another lone wolf, like her simple dad.

...The next morning, Fabi called her friend Paige to tell her that Low Place had already found a buyer.

Kyle's brother wants to annex the estate to Edelfly, but I refused to sell it to him. I just can’t imagine leaving my grandmother’s house yet.

What are you doing? - Paige exclaimed. - Yes, Mrs. Ray left a small amount in the bank account, but this money is only enough to keep the house in good condition for another six months at most. What then?

I know, I know. But Low Place is the last link that connects me with my grandmother. I can’t decide to break it off yet.

So what are you going to do with this income eater?

Maybe I'll move here and live here for a while.

After a short pause, Paige asked carefully:

What about our dance club?

I'll sell you my share and give you private dance lessons in Lakeside.

We will be able to see him on weekends.

Don't be stupid. Fab, I think you'll be making a big mistake if you stay at Lakeside. Just remember how we have long dreamed of purchasing our own building for our studio and no longer renting space. I understand that this is too bold of me, but if you sell Low Place, then we will turn around like that! Wow! Please do not make hasty decisions based on emotions alone.

Fabi chatted with her friend some more, then went to Amber Lake, went shopping, met old acquaintances, chatted with them, talked about her affairs, learned the latest local gossip.

It was a wonderful day, Amber Lake, the wonderful mountain lake that gave its name to the whole area, sparkled in the sun like new silver coin, and Fabi decided to return home by a longer, but very scenic route. On the other side of the lake, vacationers were having fun and warming their bodies in the sun, and Fabi could hear their happy laughter. She skirted the lake and walked along the mossy bank of the small Light Spring River that flows out of Amber Lake, staying in the shade of the trees. On the other side, behind a low hill, Edelfly's property began, adjacent to her native Low Place.

Obeying a sudden impulse, Fabi took off her sandals and stepped into the cool water. Oh, what a pleasant silence wafted from everywhere! This is how I would spend the rest of the day here, listening only to the rustling of trees and the murmur of running water. Fabi remembered that she and Kyle had once waded through Light Spring here, but apparently she had forgotten about the cold undercurrents. Turning around to go back to the shore, she swayed, losing her balance. The newspapers she had bought at the kiosk slipped out of her hands. Fabi clutched her sandals tighter, as if they were a support that allowed her to maintain her balance, and at that same second she noticed Matthew Blackburn leaning against a willow tree on the other side.

Don't need help? - he asked, and his mouth broke into a wide smile.

No, thank you,” she muttered through her teeth.

To her chagrin, he took off his shoes and strode confidently toward her, walking with the lazy grace of a panther.

Give me your hand,” he commanded.

After hesitating for a moment, Fabi extended her hand and took a step. What a big and warm palm he has! Finding herself dangerously close to her savior, she swayed again. In one swift, deft movement, Matthew scooped her up into his arms and carried her to the other side.

“Well, I guess I deserve a small reward for saving you from a shameful fall,” he said with a smile. -Would you like to join me for lunch?

Fabi looked at him suspiciously.

If this is a clever ploy to convince me to sell you Low Place, then I must warn you: don't waste your time.

I don’t even have anything like that in my thoughts. I just thought it was time for us to become friends. For Kyle's sake. - His lips curled. “Besides, if I’m trying to convince someone of something, then I’ll go ahead with a dinner with caviar and champagne.”

Premiere of the 21st season of the series " South Park» (« South Park") will take place on September 13th on the Comedy Central channel. The cinematic reminiscent of the series' most colorful characters, who often remain in the shadow of the main characters.

“South Park” is an American animated series about the lives of school friends, which has been making fun of the problems of the United States and the entire world community for 20 years. There are two people working on the creation of the series: Trey Parker and Matt Stone, who themselves write the script for the series, voice and direct.

The focus, as a rule, is on 4 main characters: Eric Cartman - a fat and vulgar guy who conflicts with everyone around him; Stan Marsh is one of the most adequate residents of the town, although he is a child, he has the ability to think critically and make smart speeches; Kyle Broflovski is Jewish, as Cartman repeatedly emphasizes, and at the same time he is the smartest student in the class and Stan's best friend, with whom they often save the city and each other from trouble; Kenny McCormick is the poorest of the four friends, he constantly manages to get into various scrapes, which is why he always dies, but the next morning he wakes up in his bed as if nothing had happened.

You can also often see Butters Stotch next to your friends, who often replaced Kenny in the first seasons. Extremely naive and the most good-natured of the class, Butters constantly suffers from the actions of Cartman, who tries in every possible way to humiliate and mock those who cannot resist him. But the entire list of heroes in the series includes more than a dozen characters, and the most colorful of them are presented to the attention of readers.

1. Wendy Testaburger

Wendy is a classmate of the main characters and an excellent student. At the beginning of the series, she is Stan's secret love, but then they get involved romantic relationship. Almost like adults, they either break up or get back together. Wendy is an activist and captain of the cheerleading team. She is not afraid to openly confront Cartman, who has repeatedly targeted her for his ridicule. Despite this, in one episode they kiss in public, which throws Wendy's thoughts into complete chaos. Although she named Cartman last on the list of the cutest boys, he still periodically appears in her fantasies.

2. Liane Cartman

Leanne is Eric Cartman's only parent, or at least this is emphasized several times in the series. She dotes on her son and tries in every possible way to indulge his many whims. Eric is either “Sweetie” or “Piglet” for her, and with this she tries to strengthen her son’s opinion that he simply has a wide bone. Eric twists ropes out of his mother, and in one of the episodes Lien makes an attempt to rein in her son - but nothing comes of it. In addition, the creators of the series constantly remind us that Lien is a very loving woman and has slept with almost the entire male population of the town.

3. Tweek Tweek

Tweek is a fourth grader with too much caffeine in his system. His parents own a small coffee shop and are the main suppliers of coffee, which acts as a sedative for the child. Tweek's eye constantly twitches, he often screams, and even his appearance corresponds to the behavior: the shirt is not buttoned correctly, and the hair is always tousled. Tweek is prone to paranoia: he attributes negative consequences to even the most harmless events. Surprisingly, Cartman expresses almost no hostility towards Tweek, although he still does not like Eric.

4. Token Black

At the beginning of the series, Token was the only black child in the town, and it was around him that the ridicule of problems related to racism unfolded. Token confirms all of Cartman's stereotypes - he has a bass guitar in the basement of his house, and, moreover, without knowing it, he plays it first-class. In addition, when an African-American girl appears in the city, Cartman first sets her up with Token, and then tells everyone that this is how it should be. By the way, it is Token who once beats Cartman for making jokes about himself. Token's family is the richest in the city, and this is another stab at racism and stereotypes from the creators of the series.

5. Mr. Mackey

Mr. Mackey is a school psychologist to whom all delinquent children, without exception, are sent. His distinctive features are his large head due to a tightly tied tie, the habit of saying “mmkay” and simply speaking in a nasal voice. For various reasons, Mr. Mackie sometimes finds himself in the role of a teacher, and this role turns out to be very bad for him - his entire speech consists of the same "get it?", "drugs are bad", which is why he constantly becomes an object of ridicule not only for Cartman, but also for all the other schoolchildren.

6. Ike Broflovski

Ike is Kyle's half-brother. Despite the fact that the Broflovski family loves him like their own son, he was born in Canada into the Gintz family. He is only three years old, but thanks to his intelligence he is already walking in primary school, where all the children are older than him, even know how to write letters. Ike loves to play Minecraft, World of Warcraft, and is even an unrecognized computer genius. Together with his older brother, in the last season, Ike trolled the whole world, and ultimately contributed to the “reset” of the Internet. Besides this, Ike has many other talents - he sings well and is in good athletic shape.

7. Jimmy Valmer

Jimmy is a classmate of the main characters. Despite the fact that he has been disabled since birth, his favorite pastime is performing in front of an audience in stand-up format, where he even seems to enjoy his disability. As a rule, the main characters often turn to him for advice or jokes. Jimmy is very gifted, but, like all schoolchildren, he often swears dirty and is not afraid to break some rules. For example, he took steroids in preparation for the Paralympic Games. If you make him angry, he uses his crutches, which in his hands become powerful weapon. Jimmy is Timmy's friend and the only one who understands him.

8. Heidi Turner

Heidi is Cartman's "smart and funny" girlfriend, who only came into her own as a character in the final season. She was the victim of a troll named Skankhunt42 on a school forum and was one of the first girls to sit during the US national anthem. Heidi could not stand the harassment on the Internet and deleted her Twitter account. This event was perceived as a tragedy at school, because after it, other children began to refuse social networks. It was the fact of leaving the Internet that brought Cartman and Heidi together. And at the end of the 20th season, she helped Elon Musk himself with calculations, who admired her intelligence, but still did not understand why she was funny.

9. Tuong Lu Kim

Tuong is the owner of the only Chinese restaurant, City Wok, and the only airline, City Airlines, in the city. He is an ordinary person who likes to eat rice, but this did not stop him from single-handedly trying to build an analogue of the Great Wall of China around the city and even repel an attack on it by Mongol troops. Tuong Lu Kim, in fact, concentrates all the stereotypes associated with Asia. His pronunciation of the letter "r" as "l" is characteristic not of the Chinese, but of the Japanese; and the surname Kim is common not only in China. He is married to Chinese singer Wing and paid a lot of money to the Chinese mafia to bring her to the United States.

10. Officer Barbrady

Officer Barbrady is the brightest representative of the law in the town. Initially, he was the only police officer in the entire city, but then the police staff grew significantly. Barbrady looks a little simple-minded and even stupid, but this impression is deceptive. For example, he once hid the appearance of black CIA helicopters in the city. On the other hand, it was he who told the children where to find girls easy virtue… But when it comes to the safety of those around him, Barbrady always takes his job seriously. Outside of duty, the officer is quite lonely: he lives alone with his old dog, which needs constant treatment. However, there are suspicions that the officer has a romantic relationship with the mayor of the city, because they were twice caught in rather compromising positions. In recent seasons, he was fired from the police force after accidentally shooting a Hispanic child, but after the city fell into chaos, they tried to reinstate him. However, Barbrady refused to shoot people again.

11. Jesus Christ

Jesus - good friend the Fab Four, always ready to lend a helping hand or offer some divine advice. He even used to host his own show on a cable channel, where he invited various celebrities and answered questions from callers. Also initially very conflicted with Santa Claus, but they soon put an end to their differences and are now strong allies. Of course, Jesus has superpowers: the ability to heal wounds and mend broken bones with a slight movement of his hand; the power of resurrection after death, which he shared with Kenny; destroying his enemies with weapons... However, Jesus is not without a flaw - his biggest weakness is his addiction to Internet pornography.

The entire 20th season was dedicated to politics and ridicule of Donald Trump in particular. The creators of the series promised that season 21 will be different. But whether this is true or not, and which of the heroes will be revealed in a new guise, whose secrets have not yet been fully revealed, we will find out very soon.

Kyle Schwartz, voiced by Trey Parker, is Kyle Broflovski's maternal cousin and a stereotypical Jew. Kyle Schwartz lives in Connecticut and has a very goofy appearance - he has a fat head, a small mouth and huge glasses. In addition to poor eyesight, Kyle has asthma, so he breathes very heavily. Kyle Schwartz appears in the episode "The Entity" - his mother, Sheila's sister, becomes seriously ill, and he moves in with the Broflovskys. At first, Kyle Broflovski is worried about how his friend Cartman, an anti-Semite, will deal with the walking stereotype about Jews. He promises to give him $40 to keep him quiet, but in class Cartman breaks down and jokes about concentration camps. Later, Kyle Schwartz finds out that his cousin tried to pay so as not to laugh at him, but he is not offended, but says that he should have offered not $40, but $12.50. Gradually, Kyle Schwartz's behavior, harassment, inability to communicate normally and the stereotyping of Kyle Schwartz bore Kyle Broflovski, and he tries to get rid of him: send him by train to Connecticut, by plane to Antarctica, throw him in the forest, but every time Kyle Schwartz returns home screaming: “I Houses!" Finally, it turns out that Kyle Schwartz, thanks to a successful investment, earned $5,000,000 and is leaving home. The main characters begin to beg him to stay, but he leaves with the words: “You know, you are complete suckers. It’s as if you were stereotyped.”

Kyle Schwartz later appears in the episode "Killing Santa Claus" - he works as Cartman's accountant for Santa's good deeds and gifts and concludes that even if Eric finds cures for AIDS and cancer, he will owe Santa two gifts. In the episode "Everything to Lose," the South Park boys' baseball team recruits Kyle to recruit the worst possible player on their side because they want to lose.
