But since the game is distributed according to a shareware model, it is not entirely easy to earn gold in it - the developers encourage players to invest real money.

However, there are a few tricks that make gold in Heroes of the Storm is earned faster. Now we will tell you about them.

Match Rewards

For winning a match where players fight against computer bots (“Co-Op”), only 10 gold are given. For defeat they don’t give anything. In PvP matches, the stakes are slightly higher: 20 gold for a loss and 30 gold for a victory.

Don't stay long in " Co-op play"- after all, even for a defeat in PvP they give twice more money. Well, when you start winning normally, even with not very intense play you can earn a couple of hundred gold a day.

Account Level Rewards

For gaining some account levels (namely an account, characters also have separate levels) in HotS there are rewards: 1000 gold each at the second and fourth levels, access to daily quests at the sixth level, 2000 gold each at levels 8 and 10, as well as an additional slot for a free hero at levels 12 and 15.

The faster you upgrade your account, the better - daily quests will help you earn money on a regular basis, and additional slots will help you earn extra money by leveling up the heroes themselves (we’ll tell you how later).

The easiest way to speed up your account leveling is to play in a group. In this case, the amount of experience gained increases by 50% immediately.

Daily quests

Once you upgrade your account to level six, you will receive one quest every day. Completing them is the most stable way to make money in the game. The reward for quests varies greatly: 200 gold for two games as a hero of one of the universes, 300 gold for three games as a hero of one of the types, 600 gold for three victories and 800 gold for eight games. Note that only to complete one quest you need to win - the rest will bring money even if a “dark streak” has come.

The quest does not have to be completed on the day it is received - it will be available until you fulfill the condition or cancel it. There are three quest slots in total - so we recommend completing them at least once every three days.

Leveling up heroes

Each hero in HotS has ten levels of pumping, and for each we receive pleasant rewards. Usually these are new talents, various appearances, etc., but at the fifth level they also give cash gift– 500 gold. At the same time, it is not at all necessary to buy a hero in order to receive rewards for leveling up - they are also available for those heroes that the developers made free this week.

So it would be a completely sensible idea to level up all the heroes that become available during rotation. This is both profitable (500 gold per nose, and it doesn’t take very long for the hero to level up to the fifth level), and useful for the game - you will watch different heroes and learn their skills. It would be wise to upgrade first of all those heroes that are required to be played to complete the daily quest - this way you will get even more money.

Plan your expenses wisely

Heroes of the Storm's economic model has interesting feature– money here is earned much faster at the initial stage of the game, when you upgrade your account and heroes. A little later, when only daily quests and income from games remain, the profit will seriously decrease. In addition, if you want to hone your level of play with one hero, you will have to ignore those daily quests that are not related to him - then the speed will decrease even more.

The newest heroes in HotS cost 15,000 gold, the oldest - 2,500. You can buy your first hero in just two or three days, but then when quick ways earnings will dry up, it will take one or two weeks to save for a character active play. Therefore, our advice to you is to set aside at least part of the money you earn at the start. Play a few rotations free heroes, figure out which of them you liked - and only then buy the best ones with the proceeds.

How to become the most valuable player
